Re: Kingdom of Yoruba Gods

The image of the girl began to calm the rage within her, but she
could not bare to see the child as she was. Yet, Enyo knew that
it was merely a vision, nothing more. If it weren't, she would
have been at the girl's side, setting a flower upon the grave.
She was heartbroken, and her gaze moved to Esu. He knew she
would not console her, which made it all the more painful. Her
entire soul was going to be torn apart by this, and she would be
nothing but an empty shell. "Hold my hand, Esu. I am scared."
Her declaration was the truth. She needed to feel grounded, to
feel a solid body otherwise she might float away. If she did,
she would never be able to remove the lust for battle that she
felt. And Enyo desperately wished to remove that part of her
being. If she perished in the process, then she would allow it;
but she did not want to cause such pain to any being ever again.
As if at will, her blade appeared within her grasp, and she
extended it toward Esu. The blade was facing her as she held it,
her gaze calm and collected. "Take this, Esu. I do not need it
any longer. If I rid myself of that which makes me what I was,
then I will have no need to be that again." With a deep breath,
she turned back toward the graveyard. "But, please let us
continue."

The quelling of Enyo's rage was a good sign, but it didn't mean
they were out of the water just yet. There was still plenty of
ground to cover. A raised eyebrow fell upon Enyo as she asked
Èṣù to hold her hand. He had never heard of a warrior,
much less a God, being so reliant on another being. But he
supposed that, beneath all that, she was still a woman. So he
took her hand in his own and continued down the path. When she
offered him the blade, he shook his head, refusing to take it.
"That blade doesn't make you what you are. The only thing that
defines your identity is your decisions." He turned and
continued to walk, neglecting the blade that was offered to him.
Over the next hill, was a path full of Images of the Gods of Mt.
Olympus. Zeus, Poseidon, and even Hades sat around a circle,
having drinks. Ares sat on his throne, commanding his
underlings. He didn't smile, but it was clear that he was having
a good time. Enyo reveled in her accomplishment, having been
praised by her brother. "Is this how the Gods of Olympus live?
Enjoying life and prosperity while the people who worship them
suffer?" There was disgust in his voice, though it didn't show
on his face. The images of the Greek Gods living in bounty
continued, and though they fought amongst each other, very few
of them showed concern for the troubles of the people of Greece.
It was no wonder why Enyo had turned out the way she had, if
this was what she had as an example. It had been almost three
days since the two had begun walking, and they would be nearing
the end soon. But there was one other thing to look forward to
first.

"Not all of the Olympians," Enyo turned and looked at Esu, "are
like that. Hermes, for on is constantly busy, as is most of the
lesser gods. We do most of everything while the twelve get all
of the praise, and fear in Hades' case. The only time the twelve
do much of anything is when the humans anger them. Well except
Ares, he is always om the warpath. He cares not for the emotions
of others, and takes that which pleases him." She stared at the
scowl on her brother's face. He was handsome, like all other
male gods, and could have his pick of goddess and mortal alike.
Yet, even Aphrodite could not quell his lust for battle.
Enyo turned her gaze from the images and faced Esu once more.
"It has been this way for centuries. My family is set in their
ways, and no amount of prying will break them of their habits. A
few of the goddesses, such as Athena and Persephone, might
accept my word as truth; but the others would regard my pleas as
the rants of a mad woman. Only those who willing to change will
change, as I am attempting to do; but most are happy as they
are."

The goddess Oya had worry on her face , but Olorun didn't show
any at all. If Shango was in a situation he would be able to
defend his self .All his children was taught to defend there
self as last result. Artemis and Oya seem to be please when
Oloeun ask them to join his , Artemis dogs started to whip there
tales in excitement when Artemis gave her answer .
There answers please the gentle god , Hunting was an activity
he did on his own for mental and physical reason, but having
company would make it better. (The dogs can accompany you but
the gold bow and arrows stay. When I hunt I don't use my godly
abilities or my staff , I stay in human state and use what the
land gives me as my weapon , but if you feel you need the golden
bows then I wont say otherwise .) He awaited a answer before a
flash of light became of his eyes and they where at the pride
lands ..
The sun painted the land gold , The blue sky smile upon the
land with it's cloudy face. Olorun took a deep breath of air as
the wind massage his torso. "It's a perfect day to hunt " he
reply with a smile on his face. His sweat made his chest and
face shine off the sun's reflection. Olorun walk towards a tree
and began to strip the tree branches till he found the strong
branches .. Then he began he adventure up the tree for vines and
finally obtain some rocks on the way back to
He clash two rocks together making sparks , Olorun continue this
until each had a sharp point . Finally he wrap it on the firm
branches an he had his spears and was ready to begin . Than a
idea came up (Let's make this fun , who ever comes back with the
most dangerous prey gets to choose the next activities and
chooses who has to cook dinner for tonight.)

Most dangerous prey?
Oya thought it over and quickly decided what she would capture,
though it was not what anyone was thinking; she was sure.
Watching the dogs, the goddess grinned to herself before turning
to watch Olorun sharpen his weapon. Her attire changed
immediately at the silent command of her mind and left her in a
long beaded top that had a low cut and a hole that curved around
her belly button. In pair, a red skirt was left behind with
golden beaded trim-work. Going forth into the jungle, the woman
soon disappeared behind shady green trees, clearly seeking to
separate herself in order to hunt.
The overhanging greenery hung down in long vines which a couple
were preoccupied with miscellaneous creatures and insects. None
disturbed her as she went deeper into the clutches of nature.
Her eyes soon found a trail that led her to a quaint village
where a lone man stood on guard during the weak hours of
morning's darkness. The distant sunrise was just enough
illumination to detect the man's handsome features. Stepping out
into the open, Oya waited for him to notice her. Once he did, he
surprised her by raising his weapon before timidly approaching
her. He babbled on about how a woman was not safe alone at this
hour. It annoyed her so to see men take on superior roles which
they crowned themselves without regard to the opposite sex. Now,
however, it would work in her favor.
Oya turned and ran into the opposite direction that she had
came. The man shouted behind her, commanding her to stop but
after a few moments of vainly straining his voice, she heard
heavy footsteps following her. Two hours of chasing later, they
arrived at the destination where she would meet the other two
hunters and set a trap for the man who was close behind. After
laying the trap, the woman stood back and waited for him to come
into view then he ran into it.
His foot triggered the initial part of her trap and a large
stick snapped in the background as rope wrapped around his ankle
before it snaked him up into the air with his weight solely
supported by the branch the rope around his ankle was tired to.
Oya yawned as she phased back into her goddess form.
"Olorun, I caught the 'most dangerous prey' on earth," she
announced in a whisper, allowing the breeze to carry her message
to his ears.
The woman suddenly felt exhausted and vanished back to her room.
It was probably best to allow Olorun time alone with the other
goddess anyways. Falling into her bed, she sighed and soon
drifted to sleep.

If this was her way of being funning Olorun didn't see it , it
fact it struck a nerve in him. If The goddess of change wanted
to change his attitude from peaceful to piss off she press the
right buttons .Of all rules to break she knew not to hunt nor
hurt the human race without reason , not for sport . This anger
the god quite bit. He free the man that was trap by her web and
apologize for her actions before looking at the heavens with a
angry look . Olorun didn't take no time to handle this blatant
disrespect .
As fast as the women enter her room Olorun stood there with
both arms firmly cross his chest. She could easily read the
anger in his eyes before the tempered god spoke power in each
word." If you didn't want to go them you didn't have to go ,
but that stunt you just pulled will NOT BE TOLERATED ! Sense
you think hunting a human was "fun" lets see how "fun" it would
have been if they really caught you. "A flash of lighting stream
across Olorun's snow cover eyes and like lightning the goddess
was from his sights .Oya was tied up in the men's grasp with no
godly powers . They would have there way with her . But
eventually she would figure out that he would never but her in
any real danger and this was a trick he learn from his son.
Olorun didn't like to punish his child and it was rare when he
had to do it but he will have order . While the goddess was
going through her punishment Olorun return to the pride lands
with more focus on his face ."Shall we continue Artemis " He
pick up the spear in hand and pace forward into the high grass..

Ajala sighed heavily and teleported up to his sister and grabbed
her arm and the vanish and then appear in a sparing Cort Ajala
whispers to his sister "Abana stay alert we dont know this man
he could easily hurt us...we dont know much magic and anyways
hes an adult so he probley knows more then us so just for once
keep a low profile" abana giggles and watches Olorun with big
eyes "Wooohooo"she shouted with a laugh Ajala glared at her and
watches the man carefully hopeing he wouldn't attack them.

However angry Olorun appeared to be or truly was, Oya remained
unscathed by his unruly presence and siege. There were splotches
of crimson pride smeared on either cheek but whatever ran
through her mind down not pass her tightly pressed lips whose
color was an off white from the tension behind the self-control
the goddess fought so hard to possess. Only a select few times
did the goddess Oya meet the god's accusing and raging gaze and
then it was merely out of respect towards him rather than the
confusion that had two gods within its own, cruel trap. Whatever
quarrels he sought against her at that moment did not
successfully bloch out past care or respect she had gained
throughout the years; it did test them, though.
Once stripped of any god right she had once held and bound
within Olorun's trap, Oya sighed in submission and closed her
eyes in attempt to shut the world out. He held every right to
have the notion she had acted like a cat toying with its mouse
dinner though it was not what she had intended. Exhausted and
drained both mentally and physically, the goddess paid no heed
to what the human man did. If any luck, his violent pursuits
would make more use of her body than her husband had ever out of
lustful motives. At that thought, Oya was only angry at her own
self-pity.
Part of her, the unquenchable god portion, urged her to seek
vengeance over her weakened state but the rational side of the
woman kept her from even lifting a finger to stop the matter.
There was a silent difference between the acts of the two gods.
Clear understanding. Oya knew Olorun saw her 'hunting' the human
as a sign of hostile dominance with a streak of power fever and
a dash of child-like rebellion. However, the woman's opinion
swayed dramatically from such a stance. Oya had not actually
hurt the human, though Olorun left her vulnerable enough that
the man very well could inflict harm onto her. Neither, had she
done it just because she could. In all fairness, the man had
chosen to follow, allowing his penis to chase a beautiful woman.
The goddess had even surrendered all god given abilities while
capturing the man.
However, Olorun judged what he had seen, not by her intentions.
Buckling, her knees gave out beneath her and the goddess felt
the dirt scrape her bare skin as she fell. It did not hurt, hell
it took more than a lightning bolt to arouse pain, so what was a
little hard earth. Oya was simply tired of baring the weight of
the world and its damned issues for one day. If the human wanted
her, he would have to move her himself.

While hunting the god did check on the women, he did see what
she saw and at that point of time all was well until the human
start to take things to far . The idea I this punishment was to
in prison the goddess not to have his sexual needs fulfill . The
god was more mad at his self and the men he left them with
The sky stricken black , lightning ran freely across the smoke
color clouds that form a face of the god Olorun ." Vengeance
shall be your now child" in a flash of light an lighting bolt
struck through where they help the goddess . It struck her,
giving her back her powers and more . In that moment she had
Olorun power but it would only be for a short moment . Lightning
would run around the curse of her body , her eye would stay a
bright white with olorun's anger behind it .
This would be the only time Olorun's would let this fly , after
her mayhem was unleash to the men who did her wrong Olorun's
stood there inches away from the goddess . With his power
returning he wrap his muscle arms around the women an whisper "
I'm sorry my fair child , this is not what I wanted . His grip
firm around her gentle body giving her his warth . " Forgive me
my child . I will do anything for your forgiveness , just name
it ".
