The woman was left short of words in her drunken state. What
comments he made were either responded with blank stares or
slurred, jumbled mumbles beneath breath that reeked of liquor.
On any other occasion, Kaylee could hold her alcohol like a pro
despite being a light weight. It was rare that any kind of drink
could effect her as Sachiel's had. Not that she was in any
condition to complain at that moment since she was left feeling
       quite well.
Upon entering Danny's room, she tugged him against her, which
was a considerably weak gesture. The girl then pressed fully
against him and smiled at him as if they both shared an inner
secret that didn't need to be said to be understood. Her mouth
quickly closed in on his but when it seemed as though their lips
might touch, her head froze less than an inch from his. Bringing
up her finger, she poked the tip of his nose before giggling.
The woman then tucked herself in his bed and quickly fell
       asleep.
Only a few short hours later, she was awoken by the unfamiliar
aroma of man's soap. With her bed securely buried in the pillow,
the second thing she became aware of was that it was early
morning. Kaylee moaned and rolled over, wrapping the sheets
around her right thigh as she went. This was definitely not her
room; nor was it her bed.
Tip toeing out if his room, she tried her best not to wake the
man even though she could not tell for certain if he was really
asleep or being kind enough to keep up the pretense to save her
       dignity.

Danny could only chuckle at Kaylee as he helped her along. The
poor girl was three ways from Sunday, and couldn't hardly speak.
When she did he only managed little bits and pieces from her, so
he resigned himself as her silently guardian, for the time. In
truth he hated seeing women drunk, it put him off, no matter who
it was, he just couldn't look at them in the same light when
they were intoxicated. It was a hypocritical way of thinking,
considering he spent most his time teetering on the edge of
being drunk. Yet he couldn't help it, it was just a thing he had
       in his head.
When they were finally in his room, his humble sparsely adorned
sanctuary. What he did have though was California king size bed,
and multiple computer terminals linked together, with several
separate screens. That, and the large bay window that opened up
on the outside world, was Danny's sanctuary.
Confession- I honestly thought no one would see the inside of my
       room here...
When she pulled him in, pulled being a generous term, close to
her, he smiled softly. Kaylee was very attractive he admitted
silently, as she leaned in close to him. Sighing as he readied
for a drunken kiss, he smiled, she did look like she had nice
lips though... As they closed, he could feel her breath, and he
felt the hairs on his neck stand up. It was about to come, a
kiss that might change everything or nothing. Their mouths
almost met, then he felt a jab on his nose, and heard a giggle.
That moment made him smile, and laugh, as he helped her into his
bed, before taking a pillow for himself. Watching her curl up
and almost instantly fall asleep made him smile, "Sleep well
lass." His own feet carried him to a spot by the window where he
dropped his pillow, and soon laid down, and was quickly asleep
       as well
Morning, well late morning brought a few, expected surprises,
when Danny finally raised his head. Kaylee was gone, he hadn't
expected her to stay, but it would have been nice to know he
could use his own bed. When he stood, he groaned, as his eyes
fell to his left arm and left side of his chest. The entire area
was a mass of scars, and his left arm was curled tight to his
chest. This was his life, every morning, he thought bitterly to
himself, as he suddenly became very glad that Kaylee had gone.
He hadn't mentioned it the night before, or to anyone else, but
       he was crippled.
He had lost feeling in seventy percent of his left arm, and
sixty five percent in the left side of his chest. This wonderful
deficit had been a parting gift from Allah, while Danny had been
overseas, before his acting career. Now, as he took his left
wrist in hand and pulled his arm forcibly down, he groaned, and
his knees wavered, while he leaned on the wall. The more time
that passed, the more grateful he was that Kaylee had gone. For
several minutes he worked his arm that way, until he didn't need
his other hand to do it.
With a sigh he looked out the window, sighed, and smiled. It was
a nice day, and he'd be damned if he was going to stay in the
house. Grabbing his board shorts, slipping on a shirt, and
grabbing a cup of coffee he headed for the roof top pool,
looking to do a few laps in the nice weather.
