Re: Jasper's Room

Eyes narrowed and filled with deep red swirls as Kensley began
speaking on things she knew nothing about. It was a shame these
girls were so irritating. Beauty clearly ran in their family. He
was glad Sachiel was there. He seemed to be able to keep a level
head and not take sides. "First of all, let me start by saying
that nothing I'm about to say is out of disrespect. I'm simply
telling the truth. I've been hearing all these phrases like
'used' or 'taken advantage of,' but those words imply that I
somehow persuaded, or convinced Kegan to do something."
He turned to Sachiel, since he was the one who asked to hear
Jaspers side of the story. "You know how drunk Kegan got last
night. I'd had a couple drinks too, but not nearly as much as
her. I have her an elixer to help her come down. Then I turned
my back for half a second and she disappeared. So I went after
her to check on her, and she initiated everything! I never asked
her to do anything with me. I even told her it was a bad idea.
But what can I say? Look at her!" He motioned to the gorgeous
woman. With a little alcohol in their system, who COULD turn
that down?
Once he felt his message had gotten across, he continued. "The
problem came along when I went back to my own room after she
fell asleep. But it wasn't like a taking advantage type thing. I
left her a note saying I wanted to see her today so we could
talk. But she showed up in my room going on about cuddling and
such. But we don't know each other! She originally kissed me
because she thought I was you! She even admitted to that. So I'm
just a substitute for Sachiel, but I'm the one who used her?"
His eyes were now settled on the elder of the sisters. "The fact
of the matter is we both did what we wanted to do. This whole
thing was blown out of proportion."

Kegan listened while Jasper spoke, her guilt growing with each
word. This entire situation was her fault and she knew it. But
she couldn't bring herself to look at anyone in the room, even
her sister. A single tear slid down her cheek and fell onto her
lap. Kegan was going to drive herself crazy because of all of
this, and her sister being her wasn't going to help.
She could already feel Kensley's gaze moving toward her. Now,
her sister was going to yell at her. Last night, when she
called, Kegan was still a bit intoxicated and wasn't thinking
straight. And her inability to decipher her feelings was not
going to help the situation. "Jasper," she started as she
finally managed to look at him, "at first I did kiss you because
I thought that you were Sachiel; but when you came to my room, I
knew the difference. You showed concern for me, and I handled my
reaction poorly. I..."
More tears began to fall from her eyes then, as she fell victim
to the emotions warring within her. "I like Sachiel and I like
you, Jasper. I don't know what to do. Tell me what to do,
please." She closed her eyes and stood, starting towards the
door. "I'm so confused."

Understanding dawned in Kensley's eyes as she listened to
Jasper, in which she instantly turned her angered gaze to her
sister. "You didn't tell me any of that, Kegan." The anger
caused her fists to ball up and her cheeks to flush. "You had me
fly all the way from Venice to deal with this, and you
exaggerated while missing the major details."
After a moment, she took a deep breath and looked at Jasper.
"Please, disregard everything I said to you before, Jasper.
Kegan was just being spoiled and had me believing you were in
the wrong. Evidently, she was the one in the wrong. Which I
will address after we are done here."
"But," she turned and looked at Sachiel, "I believe I heard you
make wonderful alcoholic beverages. Wouls you be willing to mix
me up a few?" A gracious smile painted her soft lips as she
waited a response.

It seemed this wasn't as difficult. as Sachiel had originally
explained. Jasper's explanation of the situation seemed to have
settled things. However, now there were new issues afoot.
Kegan's personal issue, and now Kensley's anger toward her
sister. "It's not uncommon to like more than one person, Kegan."
He told her. "Crushes happen all the time. Besides, the commone
opinion seemed to be that the two looked alike, other than
Jaspers constantly changing eyes, and Sachiel's near colorless
ones.
"Does that mean you'll be sticking around for a while?" Sachiel
asked Kensley. "If that's the case, I'll be glad to make you as
many as you want. He turned to Jasper on the way out the door.
"Thanks man. Oh! And Kaylee and I are throwing a party in the
Game Room later. You should swing by!" With that, he lead the
girls out, and headed upstairs. He needed to get a good idea of
what he was going to do for this party, after all.

Kegan didn't leave the room with Sachiel and Kensley. Instead,
she stayed behind to talk to Jasper personally. "I hope that
you can forgive me, Jasper, I was acting completely
irrationally. But, I could really use your help." She walked up
to him and took his face between her hands. "I don't know how to
deal with all of that his. This is all so new to me, especially
the intimacy."
Silence fell between the for a moment while Kegan attempted to
gather her thoughts. A soft smile played upon her lips, and she
stared into the man's gorgeous, ever-changing eyes. "Yes, I do
like you and Sachiel both, and I don't understand why. But I do
know that I was intimate with you and not him. That has to mean
something, doesn't it."
The paths laid before her were both difficult, but she had to
choose one of them. "You were my first, Jasper. I don't really
want to think of it as a one time happening. Just tell me what
to do, and I'll do it." She sighed, then, and sat on the bed
next to him. Her gaze fell to her lap once again, and her
fingers traced lines on her thighs. "What should I do?"

"Don't worry about it." Jasper said, falling back onto his bed
as he felt a giant weight lift off his shoulders. "I don't know
how I cold help you though. There are some things that you can
only learn through experience." Sky blue colored eyes looked up
at the ceiling as he thought on how badly things could have
turned out.
At least Kegan was honest. Was Jasper prepared to involve
himself with her though? Especially knowing the close proximity
to her other crush? And then there was -his- other interest. "I
can't tell you what to do about liking two people." He started.
"But since you're being honest, I will too. There's someone else
in the house that I like too." He figured be open would be a
good start. It was true that He had been intimate with Kegan and
not Aoife, but that didn't necessarily give her the one up.
"I'm not saying it was a one time thing." He told the girl. "I'm
not saying it will be repeated either. For now, let's just take
it easy and see what happens. There's no need to rush, right?"

Oddly enough, Kegan was not upset when Jasper confessed of
having feelings for someone else, as well as her. In fact, she
sighed with relief, knowning she wasn't the only one confused.
That didn't change the fact that she felt closer to Jasper tham
she did to Sachiel. "Well," she said while looking down at him,
"you can't tell her about what happened between you and I. I
don't think she would take that very well."
When Jasper fell backwards onto his bed, Kegan found herself
resting her head upon his shoulder. The desire to stay like this
for the remainder of the day was within her, but Kegan knew that
wouldn't happen. "I suppose there really isn't a reasom to hurry
things; but at the same time, I don't think I will be as close
to anyone else as I can be with you. I mean, you were my first
Jasper."
A smile took a hold upon her lips and Kegan stretched up and
kissed him upon the cheek. "I do apologize for my sister. She
can be very hotheaded, especially when it comes to protecting
me. She feels she has to since our father never did." Kegan
touched his cheek with her thumb and sat up slowly. "I do have
a tendency of being a bit immature, but I have plenty of time to
grow. I mean, I am only nineteen."

Jasper couldn't say he disagreed with Kegan's statement. It
wouldn't bode well for either of the two to know about each
other. Even if they tried, in the end it would only lead to some
sort of drama, or competitiveness. Luckily, with all the
beautiful girls that were in the house, it could have been
anyone. He wondered how all this would play out? After all,
being Kegan's first, meant she would have a natural attachment
to him, which could end up being a good, or bad thing. "Don't
worry about it." He said when she apologized for her sister. It
didn't really make much difference at this point. But he was
surprised to find that she was only 19. He had almost a whole
six years on her! He continued to look up at the ceiling,
wondering if that was ok. For now, he decided not to worry about
it. He would just wait and allow the two to get to know each
other. That was the best path, he supposed. "You still need to
be making other friends." He told her. "We're going to be here
for a year, after all."

"Yes, I do suppose I need get to know other people, but I have a
year to do that, no? Right now, I want to get to know the man
who took my innocence." Kegan grinned and straddled Jaspers
waist, her gaze upon his gorgeous face. She wasn't attempting to
sleep with him again, not yet. No, she was trying to get him to
cheer up, because he seemed a little upset to her. Bouncing up
and down softly, Kegan poked him in the chest. "Cheer up,
please. You seem so down. You have to beautiful women who like
you, most guys would die to be in that position." It was funny
that she was at peace with that fact. Jealousy should have its
hold upon her, but it didn't. Kegan wasn't going to let this
become a competition for Jasper's affection. She would just have
to hope he would find what he wanted in her. If not, she would
simply have to find a way to cope. For now, she would try to
cheer Jasper up. "What is your wildest fantasy? "

"Innocence? You could have fooled me!" Jasper said with a light
laugh. After all, she was the one who pursued him, not the other
way around. His teasing was further supported when the woman
straddled his hips. He had to admit, it -was- sexy, especially
with her bouncing up and down. She was a charming girl, when she
wasn't being over the top. He thought about what she had to say.
Two beautiful women who liked him... Actually there were
millions. But that didn't really mean he had an interest in all
of them. The thought was just funny. He looked up at the woman
as she continued to bounce on his waist. "You want to get to
know me and that's the first thing you ask?" He laughed out loud
this time. He had quite a few sexual adventures in his time, but
there was still plenty more he wanted to try. "I guess there are
a few things..." He said, deciding not to share for the time
being.
