She made it all the way to the door of her room until she
stopped, hand grasping the doorknob. “Welcome,” She began,
twisting the knob and pushing open the door, “to my crib.” A
cheesy smile took over her face as she waited for Jasper to go
in first before her. Her nose wrinkled as she looked around,
taking in everything from the plain white walls to the plain
wooden floor to the odd fixtures on the night tables. “Sorry if
it’s not to your liking. I asked for cozy and this is what I
got.” She wasn’t too sure if the others were asked what they
wanted in their room, but they asked her specifically what she
wanted and all she said was ‘cozy’. After spending a few minutes
examining her room, she nodded her head. It was definitely cozy.
Her eyes glanced up to Jasper, waiting to see his reaction
before she would make her way over to her bed and climb down
onto it. She motioned to the books stacked on top of the
suitcase by her bed, there were more in the suitcase, but those
she had to go through in order to find the book she was reading
earlier. “Pick whichever one interests you.” She said, rolling
on to her side and allowing her eyes to close; it was getting
late, but she wasn’t tired yet. Usually she’d spend most of the
night curled up with a book, but today’s events definitely wore
her out so she would go to bed earlier than usual.

A chort broke free from Jasper's lips as the woman refered to
her room as her "crib." She immediately began apologizing for
the state of her room. "Stop." He told her. "It's your room.
It's supposed to be to -your- liking, not mine." He thought
about his own room as he spoke. There weren't all that
different. White walls, not too complex. "He laughed when she
explained her request for a "cozy" room. She had gotten what she
asked for. "Cozy, eh?" He asked. "Apparently you could have
gotten as specific as you wanted. My manager told me that
someone in the house actually has an aquarium for a room!" He
wandered the collection of books as he spoke, looking for
anything that looked interesting to him. He finally picked one
up in decision. The King of Lies, by John Hart. It looked like
it would be interesting indeed. He looked over to find Aoife
already laying on her bed with her eyes closed. "Not tired are
you?" He teased. "I can always come back another time."

Green eyes widened. An aquarium for a room? That sounded like a
bit much, but Aoife was a minimalist. She knew what it felt like
to fulfill people’s wishes – she worked as a waitress to get by
before she got her first big break. So with that experience in
mind, she wanted to be a little of a burden as possible. She was
always told she was the favorite of the cast because she asked
for little while her cast mates wanted someone at their every
beck and call. Aoife was a very low maintenance girl; it didn’t
take much to make her happy. Lying on her side facing him, she
lazily opened her eyes when Jasper teased her, tongue peeking
out from behind her lips. “I bet I could stay up way later than
you.” A brow rose challengingly as she sat up in her spot,
leaning her back against the frame. “Loser has to make the other
breakfast?” She offered, patting the spot next to her for him to
sit in as she didn’t have any chairs in her room. To her a
bedroom was meant for sleeping, so there was only a bed in the
small room, but that was its cozy factor.

Jasper had to admit, the idea sounded cool. A part of him wish
he had come up with a more creative room idea now, not that he
didn't enjoy the room that he had. His eyes trailed over to
Aoife when she said she could stay up later than him. "Challenge
accepted." He said with a grin, light brown dots taking form in
his eyes. He had to admit, breakfast sounded great, and by the
looks of the woman, winning this one would be a cinch. Jasper
accepted the woman's invitation, and took a seat on the bed next
to her, his leg brushing against her own ever so slightly as he
positioned himself comfortably. "Have you read this one?" He
asked curiously. (It's actually a really good book.) He opened
up to the first page and pointed to the first word playfully.
"What's this word?"

One thing Jasper didn't know about Aoife was that she was
extremely competitive. A devilish smirk appeared on her face as
he accepted the challenge. Winning didn't exactly look to
appealing because it seemed like Jasper could barely handle
himself in the kitchen, but she didn't mind. She would most
likely make breakfast anyways; and it would be cute to watch him
cook. As Jasper got comfortable in his spot, Aoife leaned over
the side of the bed and snatched one of the books off the top of
the stack, having left her other one back in the kitchen. She
flipped it open and began reading without glancing at the title.
Just by the first few words she read she was able to identify it
as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It was a classic; one she
read when she was a kid. A warm smile took over her face and she
shifted around to get comfortable, a spot where her arm was
gently touching Jasper's, his warmth washing over her skin.
She rolled her eyes at him, but amused them both by leaning
closer to him and ran a finger over the page. "This word is
'you,' then 'are,' then 'totally going down'." She looked up at
him and smirked, wrinkling her nose cutely.

It was rare that Renegade got the opportunity to just sit down
and read. And it -definietely- wasn't his idea of your normal
"first date" but something about this scene was nice. Despite
the lack of interaction between the two, he was having fun. and
there was still the matter of their little competition. He had
to win. His eyes washed over with a new set of colors. A deep
blue accented with streaks of orange. Jasper wasn't good at
making a lot of different dishes, but one thing he could make
perfect every time was pancakes. That would surprise her! On the
other hand, losing the bet would mean spending the night... All
these thoughts were washed away by the story of the North
Carolina Lawyer known as "Work." The story was enticing from the
start, though Jasper found himself disliking the main character
early on. Two hours and several chapters later, a yawn escaped
the man's lips. He looked out of the corner of his eye to see
if Aoife had noticed. He had been so deep in his book, that he
honestly wouldn't have noticed if she had fallen asleep already!
He scooted a bit closer to her. From this close proximity, if
either fell asleep, the other would be able to tell by their
motion. "Feeling sleepy?" Jasper joked, as well as seeked a
moment of her attention. After that, he returned to his book.

Usually it was easy for Aoife to get lost in her books, but this
time she was finding it difficult to do. Maybe it was because
her mind was foggy with sleep, or maybe she was distracted by
the man sitting next to her. Either way she had a feeling she
was going to lose the bet. Blinking her eyes allowed her to
focus in her book, realizing she had been on the first page for
the last hour. A frown took hold of her face and she quickly
reopened to a spot well into the book to make it seem like she
had been reading, hoping Jasper didn't notice.
She could feel her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and
every so often they would completely close and she would fall
into a shallow state of sleep. Jasper's voice woke her up and
she had to stop herself from yawning and stretching by shaking
her head furiously. "Of course not." She said with a voice laced
with sleep. "But if you are I'll just tell you what I want for
breakfast now,"she added with a smirk, sneaking a quick glance
at the man next to her. When he returned to his book Aoife did
the same. But it was a bad idea. Immediately her eyes began to
droop and her body began to lean against Jasper's. She forced
herself to stay awake for another half an hour before her head
began to get closer and closer to his shoulder. Eventually her
cheek was resting on his shoulder and her nose was nuzzled into
his neck. Looks like she was making breakfast.

Surely enough, it didn't take Aoife long to fall asleep. With
that in mind, Jasper prepared to leave. It felt odd being in her
room while she slept. Almost as if he were uninvited. But first,
he needed to finish that chapter. They were finally going into
detail about Work's sister, and the role she may have played in
the case. Of course, the chapter had just begin. There were
still several pages before he would reach the end. At which
point, he tucked the woman into her bed, folded her book on her
page, and placed it next to her bed. He then searched for a
piece of paper to mark his place, not wanting to remove her book
from her room. After taking care of the books, he moved Aoife's
hair from her face and smiled down at her. "See you for
breakfast." He said with a smile, before heading out the door.

The producer's words really meant a lot to Aoife, and it caused
her to smile wide as she made her way back to her room. The
hallways were empty, proving that many of the housemates were
doing their own thing today. Passing by all the rooms, Aoife
wondered which one was Jasper's. It was a bit weird, yes, but it
would make it easier to give him back his hat as she was passing
by. She thought about peeking in the rooms to see, but figured
that the possibility of seeing more than she bargained for was
too dangerous. So she walked quickly to her own room, dropping
down onto her bed with a sigh of content. After a few moments
she scrambled to her bedside, grasping her phone in her hand.
While she was packing before the show she contemplated not even
bringing it, but was glad she packed it. Picking it up she
unlocked it and opened up her messages, finding Jasper's name
and thumbing a generic text so she didn't seem too desperate to
talk to him.
How was your interview? She typed out before hitting send,
holding it in her hand as she awaited a reply.
