Draven honestly couldn't remember much as she stood
there in the woods of a far away memory. Something that seemed
too far gone that she could swear it had all been a dream. A
crazy dream... Or was it a nice dream. The images of Sachiel's
face flashed across her mind, and Draven's lips twitched up into
a soft smile, she shook her head and let out a soft sigh. Now
was not the time to go back to wherever that was, she had a job
to do. Her arms crossed over her waist, and she wondered if she
would run into him, because if she did... Her heart skipped a
beat and again, Draven mentally scolded herself.
Focus on the task ahead
Draven stared ahead, her eyes narrowed on the bark of a tree
before, she walked up to it, and pressed her hand against it,
tilting her head, she could fee the life force buzzing within
and a smile curled up her lips. This was her favorite part of
her new job, Draven the Warrior, was Draven the Tracker now. She
could find anyone easily. But as much as she hated it, she had
to find this person, else her life would be on the line. But
just feeling everything, seeing everything... It just made
everything all the better. Draven took in a deep breath as she
placed her forehead against the bark of the tree, and stood
there for a moment.
This would be easy, she just needed a trail which she was
nowhere near getting.

How long had it been? A few months? A year? Caspian had no idea.
Since he left that Island, or rather, since he and his companion
had been "Rescued" from the island, time all seemed to run
together. His freedom hadn't been as "free" as he had imagined
it would have been when he fled his home.
When Caspian awoke back then, He was in some hospital.
Apparently he was being evaluated for any parasites, or disease
that he may have been exposed to while "Stranded." But Draven
was nowhere to be found. Most likely taken back, by whatever
organization she had been working for. Since then, Caspian
hadn't exactly been "free" to go wherever he pleased. He often
felt the energy of Atlantian Trackers, searching for him, and
was forced to flee before he was discovered...
At this time, Caspian sat under a waterfall. It was the most "At
home" he had felt in a long time. but his senses still plagued
him. Visions of "Her" infiltrated his mind whenever his eyes
closed. The sound of her voice echoed in the running watter
whenever his eyes were open. It was as if he couldn't escape her
memory, though that was... A memory....
"Focus" He told himself. "You have to get it together..."

Draven honestly didn't know what to do.. She was so busy with
her new life she had no time to think at all. She stepped back
from the tree she had been leaning on, and looked at her
surroundings. Her lips twitched a bit as the memories slide
across her mind's eye.
Draven took a deep breath and began to walk down a familiar
path. As she walked she held her hands out on both sides,
touching the tree trunks with her fingertips. It was getting
late, and warm... A little too warm for her liking.
There was one place that she knew very well, it was also a place
where she could get some water. As she walked further down the
path it opened up to the beach and she took in a deep breath and
smiles softly.
"Well, I'm back after so long... Hope you haven't forgotten
me.." Draven smiled and sat on the beach, running her fingers
through the water slowly. She loved the feeling of the water
against her flesh.

Even now, Caspian's senses betrayed him... He couldn't shake the
woman's voice..
"Well, I'm back after so long... Hope you haven't forgotten
me.."
Don't open your eyes... There will only be disappointment if you
do... But he couldn't help himself. The voice sounded too real
to ignore. And so he opened his eyes, and when he did, he
couldn't believe what he saw... There she was... Standing there
before him... Draven...
Caspian stood to his feet beneath the running water, silent
other than the sound of shallow breaths... His feet made
squishing sounds as he walked across the water toward the woman.
Still, no words escaped his lips, even when he stood right
before her, his right hand instinctively making it's way to her
waist. It was at that moment that his daze was broken. He didn't
even remember walking walking toward her, only her voice. But a
sudden pain struck his heart as he looked on at her. Of course
he hadn't forgotten her. He hadn't forgotten a single moment
between them. But that caused him to remember something else as
well.
Draven's husband had died soon after they met. He was most
likely something like a rebound. Something to help her cope with
the pain. It wasn't as if the two had ever declared anything
official. Hell, it wasn't as if she had even said goodbye to
him! His hand fell from her waist to his side, and he looked
toward the ground. "Of course i haven't forgotten you..." He
said. The sadness in his voice was apparent. But this was his
life... What could one expect?

She couldn't believe her eyes. He was standing right under the
waterfall. He wasn't looking at her but she knew if she spoke to
him he'd be able to tell who she was. She almost didn't speak
though. She was afraid of what kind of reaction she would get,
but just by looking at him. She parted her lips and spoke to
him. The words just flew from her lips like water from the
waterfall, she barely had enough time to stop them, but she
didn't want to. She saw his head lift, and his eyes open, as he
looked at her. She could see the shok in his eyes and Draven
just wanted to step forward, but she was stuck where she was
until he began to walk forward. She returned the favor and
started to take a step forward, when his hand was placed on her
waist, and all her feelings ame spiralling forward. So suddenly,
it almost knocked her down on her ass. She took a deep breath as
if his touch had sent the breath from her lungs. She couldn't
believe she was standing before him. Everything would go just
like it had been, wouldn't it?
She was happy. Almost too happy. But that all vanished when he
dropped the ontact he had on her, and spoke with that... Sad,
sad voice. Draven's eyes narrowed and she tilted her head, but
then she took a step back as reality hit her. She had gone. she
had left him, didn't even say good bye... Of course, that
week... She remembered only the time they shared together and
nothing after, until she was back at her work. She took in a
deep breath and finally spoke softly. "Caspian." Her voice was
soft, and... Hesitant. She didn't know exactly how she was
supposed to react to everything. He said he hadn't forgotten
her, but yet that strong emotion within his voie is what stopped
Draven from pouning on his and showering his face with kisses.
"I guess, I..." There is was again. She was hesitating... She
didn't understand the emotions that were clouding her eyes,a nd
her mind. She couldn't even think correctly. Then, finally...
she did.
"Listen. I understand if you're mad at me. I left. I left
without saying so muh as goodbye. I'm sorry, alright. I... I
didn't think it would matter, I mean, we didn't really know eah
other very much, plus you have your life, and I have ine... But
god damnit, it's so good to see you. I..." She stopped and took
a deep breath. "I've missed you..."

It wasn't like Caspian wasn't happy to see her. In that instant
of physical contact he felt more alive than he had in... he
didn't even know how long. His days had run so far together that
he truly had no idea how much time had passed. But what do you
say to someone in this situation? Someone who you've shared the
most intimate of moments with; Someone who left you behind
without so much as a goodbye, or a clue where to find them? What
do you say to that person? Happy to see you again? How have you
been? The answer evaded Caspian. And he reflected on it for what
seemed like hours, to the point that he saw her lips moving, but
her words flew past him like birds in the sky. "I've missed
you..." The only three words to reach his ears. Those three
words meant everything... But could it really be that easy?
"I've missed you." and everything goes back to the way it was?
"What happened to you?" No. It couldn't be that easy. Caspian
needed answers. He couldn't just pretend the two had taken
weekend vacations and returned home. But then, it wasn't as if
she were obligated to him... Everything was so confusing...

To tell the truth, Draven really wanted to hold and hug Caspian,
but she didn't think she had the right, so she rocked back on
her heels a bit, and her eyes suddenly averted from his own.
"What happened to you?" Hmmm... She wasn't quite sure on how she
should answer that. She looked at him with her eyes closed
halfway. "I know, you deserve an explanation, I just don't know
what to say." She took a full step back and began to pace in
front of him, her hands on her hips and her eyes on the ground.
This was the moment that she had been waiting for, forever how
long that had been...
Draven leaned against the bark of a tree and crossed her arms
across her chest. "The place I work for got a new owner, that
owner found out that I was missing and hadn't been seen for
quite a while. He went searching for me, and bam he finally
found me..." A sigh slipped her lips, she lifted her hands to
flatten them against her stomach, and smiled gently. "I've never
forgot about you You're always on my mind. When he was, uhh
checking over me for anything bad, I guess, apparently I had
been sleep talking..." She remembered his exact words he had
said to her. I don't know who this Caspian guy is, but I hope he
doesn't interfere with your job.
"But that doesn't matter..." She glanced up at him, a slight
frown on her lips. "If it had been my choice, I wouldn't have
left. I'm sorry."

Grey-silver eyes followed Draven as she passed before the man.
The emotions hidden within them were hard to place, as even the
holder was unsure what to feel. Impatience? Joy? Anger? It was
all a mess in his head, but he remained silent and awaited an
answer. What the woman had to say would determine his reaction.
Her explanation was different than he expected. Her profession
was at stake. She left for the sake of her job... Not only that,
she was taken away. But did she put up a fight? did she try to
find out what happened to him? Her explanation would suggest
that she didn't have a choice in the matter, so Caspian supposed
it wouldn't be fair to blame her...
But something else caught the man's attention. He didn't like
the way Draven said "Checking over" her. There was a hint of
something else there. A bad memory, perhaps. He couldn't help
but wonder about this man, but then, he had never asked Draven
about her profession. In all honesty, he had never considered
what she did for a living. "What kind of business is this?" He
asked. the fact that she would be kept on such a short leash had
bred the curiosity within him. And now he needed to find out
more, even if it meant doing his own investigation...
Draven's final words let the truth be known, and for the first
time, Caspian's eyes softened, and he embraced the woman. "It's
alright. I know you didn't have a choice..." Did it eliminate
all the pain he had suffered? Of course not. But at least there
was an explanation...
