The water was nice... The air was soothing... The company was...
WOW. Kadira occasionally found herself attracted to a woman, but
she usually prefered men. However, this woman... She was
something else. But Kadira wasn't here looking for love, or
anything like that. She just wanted to have a good time.
Whatever that meant... "It will probably pick up shortly." she
responded. "Right now everyone's just getting here and getting
settled." She looked down into the water at the reflections of
the two. "There will probably be all sorts of chaos and drama...
I'm glad I could meet someone I liked before it all started."
she said, looking up toward A'Nailiah, offering her a flirty
smile. She looked away again upon being called "cute." It was a
rare thing for her to hear. She wasn't used to being
complimented so frequently. Especially by a woman. But before
she could respond, the intercom went off. "Looks like it's about
to start. Better go get changed." She said. "Wouldn't want to go
to the Meet and Greet with all the goods hanging out!" She
winked at A'Nailiah before pulling herself out of the pool. "See
you later, Liah!" with that, she disappeared into the house, off
to put on a decent outfit.

*Confessional : "Oh man. This place is great! Did you see that
pool?! Oh my God! I can't wait to see what else this place has
to offer! Time for the 'meet and great.' I wonder how this would
       turn out."*
As soon as Kadi made her exit from the pool, A'Nailiah sat and
waited; watching the woman as her glistening body seemed to glow
as if lights were placed directly on her mocha flesh. Satisfied
as she left out of view, A'Nailiah took slow steps out of the
pool herself and grabbing a towel; one that was sitting on the
lawn chair that she was stretched out on earlier, before Kadi
had made her appearance there. She seemed nice enough anyway,
and maybe Naili could make a bond with at least someone in the
house, besides Sachie. Oh, that's right! She realized how much
of a private man that Sachie was and now knew his location.
"Poor guy. Must still be in the room, just sitting there like a
bump on a log.." She mused to herself before making her way down
the back stairs of the house, leading to a group of patios that
over looked the city and the pool.

Aoife decided to skip out on taking the ‘party to the pool’. To
her, it didn’t seem like a good idea so she didn’t follow along.
Instead she stayed back to clean up her mess. She collected the
pizza from the floor, putting it back on the plate and
collecting the plate the other people had used while also
grabbing her dirty sweater. She disposed of the food in the
kitchen garbage, wetting down a dish cloth to wipe the remains
of the pizza sauce from her leg. To her surprise, red blotches
now stood out against her skin where the sauce had burned her.
It wasn’t anything serious, and they would eventually fade away.
She tossed the rag lazily into the sink, plucking her book from
the counter where she had left it previously before making her
way up to her room to change. The sweater and the rest of her
clothes were ditched into the corner of her room – she would
wash them later. Her hair was untangled from its braid, so she
pulled it up into a ponytail, deciding it would be best if it
was out of her face in case she thought she needed to spill
anything else on her. With her soiled clothes finally off her
body, Aoife took a small moment to relish in the feel of the air
hitting each and every inch of her skin before she pulled on
       some more clothes.
Now fully dressed with a pair of sunglasses on, Aoife slinked
silently out of her room with her weathered book in her hands.
What she really needed now was a quiet place to read, and
figured that the best place would be the roof. The majority of
the group was in the indoor pool area, so she could avoid most
of them if she went outdoors. It also sounded delightful to
catch some rays before the sun went down for the day. Aoife
passed a few rooms on her way up to the roof, catching a few
bits and pieces of conversation as she passed by the many rooms
to get to the stairs. It had always been a priority of Aoife’s
to stay in shape, so her small body was toned and curvy, and she
easily bounded up the stairs without losing her breath.
The air outside was warm and humid, and Aoife was grateful that
she put on a pair of athletic shorts and a plain white t-shirt,
her feet remained bare. Her being took up residence on one of
the lounge chairs directly in the sun. She didn’t hesitate to
flip open her book and begin reading, relaxing to the sounds of
birds chirping and the thoughts of her book.

Jasper had heard of being fashionably late, but this was
ridiculous! The sun was practically going down and here he was
just arriving at the house. An entire day wasted already. He had
heard some pretty big names would be here too! He even heard
Tony would be there! As many roles as the two had battled over
the past few years, and now they would finally be in front of
the camera together. With a rivalry like that, he could only
imagine how that would turn out...

Jasper decided to avoid the large groups for now. He heard a few
voices and what sounded like splashing water down on the first
floor. Not the scene he was looking for. Something more peaceful
sounded nice, especially after that horrible flight... He found
his way up to the roof, where the view of the sunset would be
       perfect.
He made his way to a seat and looked over the edge. A few
minutes would pass before he realized he wasn't alone. "Wow! I'm
sorry!" He said to the woman in the seat, who he identified as
Aoife Finche. He kept up with celebrity names and faces pretty
well. "I didn't mean to interrupt you. If you were looking to be
alone I'll get out of your hair. Swirls of blue and white
floated around his irises as gentle features looked over at the
seated woman. He knew how it felt to have a private moment
       ruined by an outsider...

Despite having read the book countless times, Aoife still found
herself completely absorbed by it. She felt everything the
characters felt; surprise, sadness, happiness, pain. The book
was just heating up when the guy walked out onto the roof and
took a seat in one of the lounges next to hers. Aoife didn’t
look up; instead she focused harder on her book, wanting to see
what happened next. She was allowed just a few more minutes of
silence before the man spoke out to her. A smile appeared on her
face at his delayed reaction, but she kept on reading, not
wanting to be left on a cliff-hanger.
When she finally did look up she smiled, her thumb and
forefinger fiddling with the torn corner of the book. “Did you
just get in?” She didn’t remember seeing him before, she’d been
there most of the day and it was now nearing night time. “I also
take it wasn’t a good trip?” A brow arched at her question as
she took in his tired expression, a soft chuckle leaving her
lips. Aoife pulled her legs up onto the chair and crossed them
Indian style, folding and unfolding the corner of the page she
was on as she debated whether or not to close it and give her
undivided attention to him. With a fleeting glance at him that
also made up her mind Aoife returned her eyes to the page,
though she kept her attention on the guy. “And you can stay; the
sunset is too pretty to keep all to myself.”
Like the rest of the houseguests, this guy was good-looking. It
was weird how everyone there was seriously good-looking, except
for Aoife. To her, she stood out like a sore thumb. All the
houseguests were freakishly famous; the guy in front of her
definitely gave off that dominant male vibe, and his face was
vaguely familiar. She could’ve sworn she saw him countless other
times accepting awards, but she couldn’t think of his name – he
seemed like a Brad though. It made her feel even more sad
because most of the people there knew her name, yet she had not
a clue who the other people were.

Jasper wasn't offended when the woman did not look up at him,
or speak in reply. He actually found it quite amusing. Her book
must have been quite intriguing to capture her attention in such
a way. Likewise, he turned his attentions back to the horizon,
simply taking in the sights, that was, until he heard the
woman's voice. He turned to face her once more, and smiled,
when she did not shoo him away, but rather strike up a
conversation. The ocean blue color in his eyes was washed away
by a light yellow, similar to the sunset that was arriving. The
color rippled outward from his iris, like raindrops landing in a
       body of water.
The newly colored orbs settled on the woman as he nodded in
response to her question. "Yes, my flight just arrived a little
while ago." He actually hadn't come from too far away, but there
was a bit more shooting that had to be done that morning before
he was able to come to participate. He laughed to himself when
she inquired about his trip. Indeed it was horrible. When his
laughter subsided, he spoke up once more. "At one point, I
actually thought the plane was going to fall apart.
His attention shifted back to the falling sun upon hearing Aoife
give him permission to stay. "My thanks to you, Ms. Finch." He
said, offering the young starlet gentle smile. "You know, there
are some things that it's okay to be selfish about." He scooted
closer to the woman and extended his hand. "I'm Jasper, by the
way." Her expression had told him that, while he was a familiar
face to him, she either couldn't place his name, or recall where
she had seen him. Not that it was a big issue, but he did find
it a bit humorous. He held up an imaginary glass toward the sun,
and offered a toast. "To new friends, and a new adventure." He
said, before lowering his "drink" and basking in newfound
       silence.

Aoife glanced up at the man once more; though this time she kept
her eyes on him, completely entranced as she watched them change
color. She could feel her lips part as her eyes widened
slightly. It was unnatural for someone’s eyes to blatantly
change color like that, but she didn’t think that way, instead
it filled her with curiosity. Deciding it was best to not make a
big deal of it, Aoife quickly recovered and gave him an
award-winning smile though she kept her eyes intently on his so
she wouldn’t miss them changing color again.
She chuckled when he mentioned thinking his plane was going to
fall apart, and she nodded her head. His laugh was intoxicating,
and she found her chuckle turn into a full-blown laugh. They
both settled down at the same time, and it was then that Aoife
decided to fold the corner of her page and close her book to
give the man all of her attention. “Aye. I’m not too big a fan
of flying myself; I’d rather my feet stay on the ground.” The
smile on her face faltered slightly; she hated flying, and
despite how childish it was, it scared her. So many little
things could go wrong and she could die – she’s watched Snakes
on a Plane, and it scared the crap out of her.
When he looked away from her, Aoife forced herself to do the
same and look at the sunset. Finally, he introduced himself –
she had to admit that Jasper fit him way better than Brad. She
scooted closer to him in her chair and gently grasped her hand
with his, giving it a soft shake before retreating. “Well, I
would introduce myself, but you seem to already know my name.”
She playfully stuck her tongue out at him, giggling when he held
up an imaginary drink to toast. Unlike the other people, Jasper
didn’t intimidate her as much. He appeared to be the most famous
person there, definitely held a lot of power, but it was
relaxing to be in his presence and she felt like she could be
herself around him despite only knowing him for such a short
       time.
With a playful smile, Aoife got up from her seat. After placing
her book on one of the little tables she quickly made her way
behind Jasper’s chair and covered his eyes with her hands.
“You’re right; it’s okay to be selfish about some things. If
you’re lucky, I’ll let you see the next sunset.” With that, she
looked onto the sunset, watching with a smile on her face until
the last slivers of sunlight were gone.

The look that Aoife gave Renegade was very familiar. He had
received it a million times in his life. The look of amazement
when his eyes changed colors. He didn't appear annoyed, however.
Instead, he offered the woman a smile and moved closer to her.
"It's fine. He said." Knowing that she was making a conscious
effort not to bring it up, but still watching to see if it would
happen again. "Take a look." He turned to face the woman, and
looked directly back into her eyes.
"They got me my first major role in Lost Epiphany." A feeling of
nostalgia came over him as he thought of the role. He was 18 at
the time. His character hated his eyes, because they always gave
off what he was feeling, but in real life, he rather enjoyed
them. They made it so that he didn't have to talk too much.
Sunset colored orbs were overtaken by a faded pink color as he
looked Aoife in the eye. The ripples that flowed out from his
iris were now a light purple. There was something about close
proximity with this woman... But once she was satisfied, he
turned away slightly, as not to intrude her personal space. "I
actually enjoy flying." He said, looking up at the clouds now.
"Have you ever flown over a big city like Los Angeles at night?
The lights look amazing from above. Even the clouds are lit up
by the lights from below... "
Jasper was the type to often get lost in a world hidden behind
his everchanging eyes. His thoughts and imagincation were what
made him unique. However, he -did- enjoy coming out to socialize
every now and again. When Aoife expressed that she had no need
to introduce herself, due to Jasper already knowing her name, he
offered her yet another smile. "I guess you could say I'm
something of a fan." He said. When she covered up his eyes, he
made no attempt to fight back. He allowed her to watch the
sunset alone, as his eyes were overcome with streaks of light
       red....

Aoife was ecstatic when Jasper let her indulge in his eyes, but
the fact that he had noticed she was even staring made her
cheeks burn with pink. Clearing her throat, she positioned
herself in her chair to get the best possible look of his eyes
and watched with excitement as they changed colors. She felt
herself lean closer to him as the sunset in his eyes shifted to
a warm pink with purple streaks. The smile on her face grew even
more, but she was also beginning to wonder what the different
colors meant. Perhaps they acted like a mood ring and expressed
his moods, but what does the pink and purple mean? Before she
had time to think any further about the subject, Jasper turned
away and Aoife had to resist the urge to pull his face back. She
was grateful he reacted the way he did and didn’t get annoyed
with her. His smile reassured her that she hadn’t done anything
wrong, that look of understanding he had on his face made her
smile back at him. “You can get many things with eyes like that.
They’re breathtaking,” she murmured as she too looked away, the
heat rising to her cheeks again.
She nodded her head in response to his question. “I’ve flown
over LA many times, day and night. I was always too chicken to
look out the window, but I’m sure it looks as good as you day it
does.” A sheepish giggle left her lips, and she looked down at
her hands as if they were the most interesting thing in the
world. If it were possible, her cheeks would get even pinker,
especially when he mentioned being ‘something of a fan’. She
could feel her heart swell with pride, a triumphant smile
pulling on her lips. But she also felt a bit bad that she didn’t
even know his name. The thought caused her smile to falter
       slightly.
Standing behind Jasper, Aoife watched silently as the sun sunk
below the tree line. It didn’t take long for the sun to be
behind the trees and out of sight, and when it did she and
Jasper were left to the moonlight. Her eyes closed as she slowly
dropped her hands from Jasper’s face, resting them instead on
the back of his chair. In a couple of minutes the lights in the
pool would turn on and give them enough light to see. When they
finally did, Aoife felt her body relax, having been tense when
she was in the dark. It was childish, but it scared her. All the
scary movies her brother made her watch definitely took their
toll on her; now whenever she was in the dark she felt as though
someone was watching her, lurking in the shadows with a knife in
their hand. Absentmindedly, Aoife’s hands moved to Jasper’s
shoulders, giving them a small squeeze to comfort herself before
she made her way back to her chair, not bothering to open her
book as there wasn’t enough light to read it anyways. Her eyes
eagerly searched for his, and when she caught his she squinted
to see what color they would be now. She couldn’t tell, so she
bit her lip and leaned back into her chair.
“We can go inside if you want. Airplane food isn’t the best, I
wouldn’t mind whipping you up something to eat if you want.”

Jasper didn't miss the tinted color in Aoife's cheeks, though
his only reaction was the maintaining of the smile that already
played on his face. She was a gorgeous woman, though he still
didn't know much beyond that. He considered her words for a
moment, unaware that this time, it was his own face that would
be his face that was tinted with pink. "Well thank you, but
please don't stop breathing. I can't promise I know how to do
CPR quite right." He winked toward the woman and smiled happily.
Her company was pleasant. He was glad he had chosen to come to
       this place.
He made a teasing sound when the woman confessed that she had
never worked up the courage to look out the window during
flight. "Well maybe next time I can fly with you, and we'll get
you to see the view for yourself." The longer the conversation
went on, the more distinct the blush on her face became. It was
cute! Although he wouldn't say anything about it.
Jasper sat peacefully as the woman stood behind him with her
hands covering his eyes. Over time, he gently leaned back into
her, resting his back against her tummy without putting too much
weight on her. From this position, Aoife could possibly be
witness to another interesting feature that Jasper's eyes
carried. If she looked carefully, she would see a light shining
from beneath her hands. When Jasper's eyes were not exposed to
any sort of light, they emitted their own. So the color of his
eyes would be visible, as long as they were covered by her soft
       hands.
But when the sunset passed, and Aoife uncovered the man's eyes,
the glow that emitted from them faded. He looked up for a
moment, taking in the few of the few stars that shone through the
clouds until the lights came on. He smiled to himself when the
woman squeezed his shoulders and nodded his head. "Sure, let's
go." He said. He motioned for the woman to walk through the door
before himself, allowing her to lead the way to the kitchen.
