Re: The Living Room

After Derek, the only person who bothered attempting to keep a
conversation with her, left, the room felt colder, and Aoife
felt more alone. Loneliness never affected her, she'd expected
to be a pariah, but she felt as though she was in the way of
everybody else. The beginnings of an urge to leave stirred in
her bones, but she felt compelled to stay and at least attempt
to make friends. The straw that broke the camels back was the
mention of a drinking game. Unless said game involved drinking
tea, Aoife didn't want to play. Alcohol was a significant figure
in her past, and she vowed never to let it ruin her life like it
ruined her brother. Instantly his smiling face popped up in her
head, but it was soon replaced with one that had purple bags
under the eyes and a twisted mouth. Her chest ached with the
mental image, and she felt even more uncomfortable. Right now,
there was only one thing that could distract her -- her book.
Aoife jolted out of her seat and grabbed her book and mug,
heading out of the living room as fast as she possibly could and
was gone abnormally fast when in the company of others. She made
it to the kitchen in record time, but in her mind she didn't
move fast enough.

"Wait!" Kadira called out to Aoife, but she was already gone...
She hoped she hadn't said anything wrong. She made a note to
find her later, and ask, but for now, she would just enjoy the
company of those who remained. The first to respond to her
recommendation was Tony. She blushed in response to his charming
introduction. "If you want to know the name of the beautiful
woman, it's A'Nailiah." She said, gesturing to the blue haired
woman she was yet to properly address. "But since I'm here, I'll
introduce myself as well. My name is Kadira." She giggled,
offering him a soft, Mocha hand.
When the guy with the dreamy grey eyes offered to make
everyone's drinks, she rushed to the bar. "Ooh! Do you know how
to make an ABSOLUT Pleasure?" She asked, eyeing the drink he had
made for himself. It looked delicious. But she knew what Tequila
did to her... That was a bad idea. ESPECIALLY on the first
day... "Nice to meet you, Sachiel, I'm Kadira."

The way things were going on in this place was escalating very
rapidly. People were leaving, little groups were being found,
and apparently friends were being made. It seemed that there was
some star struck people here as well. Before A'Nailiah could
reply to what her friend, Ceilia asked, the red head was out the
door. Along with another brunette that Kadi was speaking to. She
wondered why the crowed was shrinking so fast? With a shrug,
Naili turned her attention to Tony and the rest of the people
while comfortably sitting upon the lap--- Well, shit. Seems like
her comfortable space has been compromised. Laughing, Naili
nodded to Sachie. "Hmm. . . I do like the sound of that.
Cranberry and Vodka for me.." She ordered as her oceanic orbs
caught the glance of Kadi as she spoke to Tony. It was
flattering and, being as oblivious as she was, was able to catch
that little clever remark. Pink found olive cheeks before she
turned to Sachie while waiting for her drink. . Or the game to
start.

When the mocha hand was extended, Tony couldn't help but reach
forward and encompass it within the trap of his vanilla fingers;
tenderly raising the dark knuckles to his lips as he bent;
pressing a kiss to them with a soft smile lowering her hand but
holding it for but a moment longer. "Kadira. A truly exquisite
name for a truly exquisitely gorgeous woman. It's a pleasure to
meet you. Might I chance asking to get to know one another in a
quieter setting later?" Offering another smile to the blue
haired woman, he spoke again. "A'Nailiah. An interesting and
unique name for a unique and interesting woman as well."
When Sachel spoke about drinks, following Kadira to the bar,
Tony spoke after she and A'Nailiah had. "My man, I'll take a
suicide. Sake, Tequila, Corona Extra, and Jack version, por
favor." Though he didn't know this Sachel guy, he had to admit
it was somewhat interesting to meet someone with grey eyes.
"Also, I forgot to mention extra rocks. Nice to meet you as
well, Sachel, I'm Tony."

Sachiel watched as Aoife fled the room as if trying to escape a
certain nightmare. He also laughed as Kadira attempted to stop
her. She was cute. She had qualities of a child, similar to
Naili, but also like Naili, she was outwardly matured and
beautiful. She was certainly his type, but Tony had already made
his move. Sachiel wouldn't step on his feet. Instead, he would
just watch and see what happened.
Naili's drink was easy; Cranberry juice and Cranberry Vodka. He
mixed her drink, poured it, and placed it on the bar next to his
own. He then rinsed the mixer out and prepared to start again.
Kadira's request was a bit tougher. He had made it before, but
he couldn't quite remember the recipe. Equal parts Abosult
Citron and... something, Strawberry flavored simple syrup,
Sprite and sour mix. He would have to wing it. "I can do that."
He said, sounding more confident than he really was. But once he
started gathering the ingredients, the other flavor came to him.
He expertly made the Citron-Mandarin drink, and placed it in the
ladies hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kadira. I enjoyed your show. I've
been waiting for a season 2. When do you think it will come
out?" A simple compliment and ice breaker. That was more
Sachiel's style. Subtle. He could never be as direct as Tony,
but then, that may end up being his downfall.
Tony's drink was easy as well, as all the ingredients were
spoken to him, instead of a name. Once he had mixed the drink,
which was sure to get anyone fucked up, he placed it on the bar
before the man, who was clearly the biggest celebrity in the
room, and offered him a smile. He may have been competition, but
there was no reason he couldn't also become a friend. Besides,
There was a good chance that the one to end up getting the girl
would end up being Naili. Clearly she had made her move before
either of them had arrived.
Once all the drinks were made, Sachiel grabbed his own drink, as
well as Naili's and walked hers over to her. He handed it to
her, but seated himself on the floor in front of her, instead of
the space he formerly occupied on the couch. "Bartender goes
first." He said with a laugh. "I've never..." Pause to think
"Starred in a big budget movie." It was an easy one, but maybe
it was best to start off easy. There was plenty of time for the
deep stuff.

Is THE Tony really hitting on me?! The thought crossed Kadira's
mind, then she laughed at herself for it. "THE" Tony. How many
people in the world carried that same name? Thousands. Maybe
millions. But if she had said it out loud, everyone would have
known who she was talking about. "Pleasure's all mine." She
said, batting her eyelashes at the man. Of course he was
charming. With his experience in front of a camera, it was only
natural that he was charismatic. She would have to keep that in
mind. "We'll just have to see." She said, winking to the man
before taking off toward the bar.
She watched Sachiel's talent behind the bar as he spoke to her.
He was really impressive. "Really? You've seen it!" She said in
excitement as Sachiel referenced her show. Her smile faded,
however, when he asked about a season 2. "Another station would
have to buy the rights to it. The old station won't continue to
air it now that Spencer is gone..." But there was more to it
than that. There was no one to play the hero, so there was no
story to continue. Season 2 hadn't even been written, so it
would likely never come...
Her quick flash of Sadness was quickly replaced by
embarrassment, when she realized that she couldn't name a single
thing Sachiel had been in.She truly had no idea who he was! "I'm
sorry, I don't know any of your work..." Of course, there was
plenty of time to remedy that. For now they should just enjoy
themselves.
She took a seat on the couch next to A'Nailiah and crossed one
leg over the other, her leg slightly brushing against the blue
haired woman's. Then came Sachiel's first statement. "I've never
been in a big budget movie..." Kadira's drink would remain sadly
untouched, as she too, was still starting out in Hollywood. But
they were there to learn about each other, right? "My turn!" She
exclaimed. "I've never been skinny dipping!" That one was always
fun! You never know who will drink to that...

Tony's words to her has caused a faint blush to lighten her
cheeks and her lips to curve into a smile. Hiding her face
against her shoulder. This Tony guy... He seemed to really rule
the room at this point. And, the only other 'big names' had
already left the area; for reasons unknown, Including her
friend, Caelia. Tony had this commanding presence about him to
add with his over all charm. Though, no matter what, blue eyes
always drifted to the mocha shot sitting across from her. She
would stay quiet for the time being, enjoying just listening to
the others chat amongst themselves. However, when the moment
presented itself, A'Nailiah decided to not be rude to the man.
"Thank you. You're quite charming. Must say that to all the
ladies who are lucky enough to bask in your presence.."
Giggling, 'Naili listened to the three talk and noticed that she
had never seen Kadi's show either... How embarrassing!! But,
sadly, there wont be a season two to keep things going. Speaking
of new seasons, seems that Daratan wasn't in production any
longer either... And this new role is taking forever to get back
to her... So, in all honestly, she seems to have the time to do
this little project and possibly meet new friends!
Sachie was cute. Such a stud around others. But she knew that he
was shy. Laughing and shaking her head, Naili took her drink
from Sachie and listened to what he had said. Thinking about it,
she hadn't been involved in anything big budget. Her drink
remained untouched and lonely as she waited. Something happened
that shocked her though; Sachie came and sat at her feet. She
tilted her head and before she was able to say something about
that, Kadi came to sit next to her! Oh gawd.. That smooth touch
of her leg; the mocha skin brushing against her own olive leg
sent a silent shiver up and down her spine. She shifted, trying
to get her bearings. Luckily, Kadi had sad something that she
had done. So, with a smirk, Naili took a swig of her cranberry
drink. The smooth, yet strong mix went down perfectly. Sachie
was always a good bartender; a little known fact that would only
be on the most adept of fan sites.
"I guess it's my turn!" She turned her eyes up to think about
what to say. She had nothing, really. She hadn't played this
game in years! Not since college. "Hmm..." She spoke out in
thought once more. Maybe she would start off light? Like Sachie?
Or go all out like Kadi..? Or perhaps just stay in the middle;
kind of like her seating situation presently. "I've neverrrrr. .
. . . . . . . ." Come on! Something good! Something good!
Something good! GOT IT! "kissed on the first date.."

Licking his lips subtly, Tony couldn't believe his luck with the
mocha skinned beauty named Kadira; he'd always had a 'thing' for
ebony skin. His enjoyment of dark skinned women wasn't only skin
deep, however, and Kadira seemed to have the killer personality
-just from what she'd said so far- to boot. When she winked,
inwardly, he could only think to should a resounding 'YES!' but
outwardly, he nodded; offering a joyous smile. "I'd really enjoy
that."
Then, when Sachiel handed him the drink, Tony could only chuckle
and nod. "Thank you, a job well done." Hand tightening around
the glass, the man knew this night would only get better despite
never having played this game before. He'd always been a
hopeless romantic, at heart, despite the various characters he'd
played over the years; a hopeless romantic with high caliber
charisma, the likes of which could rival even the mega-stars.
When A'Nailiah responded, Tony couldn't help but chuckle lightly
after going over to the couch to continue; taking a seat on
Kadira's other side, after responding to the blue haired woman.
"Not all ladies. They have to be of a certain caliber, a
certain.. class. Yourself, and this mocha skinned goddess here
are two of them." Another chuckle chased what he'd said, before
he spoke again. "I consider myself to be the lucky one."
When the three others spoke, he sighed; looking at his drink.
"Well this is quite embarrassing." Then, for each 'Never have I'
that passed, he took a sip; following A'Nailiah's with an
explanation. "Truth be told, it was in the script." Then,
chuckling again, he tilted his head and thought for a moment.
'Hmm... never.. have I ever....' What would be a good one, he
wondered.. OH! "Ahah! I've got it. Never.. have I ever...."
Pausing for a moment, looking around, he licked his lips and
went for it. ".. Been interested in someone outside my race."
But, of course, he would follow this with a sip of the suicide
he held.

Sach sat on the floor, facing the couch as the others sat upon
it, Kadira in the middle of course... Sachiel knew what this
situation was, if noone else did, and it was sure to be
interesting. For now though, the only relevant thing was the
game, everything else would fall into place with time. Sachiel
laughed to himself and took a large chug of his drink when
Kadira mentioned skinny dipping. It was a much larger drink than
one would normally take for an "I never" confession, but hey!
for people like himself and Naili, skinny dipping was as natural
as walking! In fact, there was a scene where he and Ashling were
to go skinny dipping on the show, but it was written out of the
script as not to tarnish his character. He took a sip from
Naili's Statement as well. "You haven't been on many good first
dates then." He said. Naturally, a good first date resulted in a
good first kiss. It was simple chemistry. And then it was Tony's
turn. Sachiel had been looking forward to this. Surely it would
be hard to think of something a charismatic guy like himself
hadn't done, so surely whatever he came up with would be a fun
one. But then came his statement. It was a bit disappointing.
Man he was laying it on thick! even using the game as an
opportunity to get his point across. But at the end of the day,
that was his question. Sachiel took a drink, turning to see
Kadira's response to such a direct reference to her. "My turn."
He said, placing his drink on the floor in front of him. "I've
never had a threesome."
Time to kick it up a bit. He supposed. After all, if the game
kept moving slow, Tony would just keep using the opportunity to
hit on Kadira. He thought about his question for a moment.
Another rewrite from the Daratan script. This one not even Naili
knew about, but in the original story, there was to be a
threesome scene between himself, Naili, and Micah. The scene was
removed for several reasons, and never even appeared in the
manuscripts they were each given. He chuckled at the thought,
and looked out to the incredibly dwindled group.

The game had started. And it was interesting from the start!
Kadira had never gone skinny dipping, or been in a big picture,
but to her surprise, both Sachiel and A'Nailiah both drank in
response to her question. She squealed a bit toward them in
response, but naturally, this discovery raised a million
questions. "Wasn't it cold?" She asked, though this wasn't the
question on her mind. What she REALLY wanted to know was if the
two had gone together, or at seperate times, but that question
was too direct.
A'Nailiah's question was a classic. Never kissed on a first
date? She really must be a good girl! Kadi raised her glass and
drank from it, shrugging her shoulders forward in a bashful
manner. She anticipated funny looks, but was pleased when
Sachiel and Tony both took from their cups as well. Sachiel's
queation was intriguing. She had never had a threesome, but
certainly wanted to. But for now, she couldnt drink. Then came
Tony's question. He really WAS a bit over the top, but itwas
flattering, nonetheless. She took a sip of her drink for the
second time. Race was no object to her, but she did note that
this was Tony's second time referencing the fact that she was
black... or, appeared to be black... Or, Whatever. She wondered
if that was the reason for his apparent interest in her, after
all, there were some guys like that... She shrugged it off for
the moment and thought of her next question. "Never have I
ever... Smoked weed!"
