Michael's heart was still beating irregular and fast. The sweat
still running down his face. He felt they teleported, the
shifting of air and a scent of a different place entered his
mind. He seemed to slowly relax as they stood still, seeming
asleep. But when Seiva shifted and changed his position, he
flinched, wincing lightly. The tattoo started to glow again,
trying to come out. His body started shaking badly again, making
Michael wince more in pain. The being slowly came out of his
back, appearing on the ground. A loud growl came from its mouth,
roaring deeply through the woods. Michael opened his eyes.
Weakly lifting his arm, he let a blinding white light errupt
from his hand, binding the demon. It disappeared again, and
Michael just sighed. "I'm just an experiment." He whispered,
laying back down. "It will kill me in the end.. Or, when my god
is tired of me. He placed this tattoo on me. Thinking I was
'special' enough, to deal with it. But in the end, I will just
be a marionette to this monster.. It can be possible it'll come
out soon again.. And I won't be able to stop it again..." He
whispered, looking up at the sky. His eyes were now a very dark
blue, the black rings still around his eyes.

Seiva stared at the spot the demon was in for a moment, and
blinked furiously to clear her eyes of the light used to blind
it. She glared down at Michael, and brought him closer to her
again. "Nonsense," she said simply, and looked up then, "There
are a number of ways that it could be fixed... to a degree.
Regardless. I will not let it kill you." Nadia frowned and
looked at the two of them, still saying nothing, but she was
thinking about the ways she could "fix" it. One of the
possibilities she didn't like. Seiva ran a finger along
Michael's hairline, "If it comes out again soon, I will stop it.
If it comes down to it, I will find a way to transfer it from
you to me." Nadia twitched, knowing that she would say that
idea, but it scared her anyways.

Michael just kept staring at the sky now, sighing. Trying to
calm down his heart, he inhaled deeply. Slowly releasing his
breath, he looked at Seiva. "No.. I wouldn't allow you to do
that. I have to deal with this myself. Not drag you into it. I'm
sorry I already have as much as I did.." He mumbled, slowly
sitting up. Sighing deeply, he just looked over at Nadia. "You
have to make sure Seiva won't do anything stupid like that.." He
said with a faint smile. Getting up on his feet, he stretched a
bit. Snapping his fingers, his suit looked like new again. "I'm
going to try and get some rest in the hotel in town. I
appreciate you still take good care of me when needed. I hope I
can repay you one day.." He said, looking away from her. A white
light surrounded him, making him disappear.
Once he stood in front of the hotel, he opened the door and
looked around. It seemed quite empty and quiet. Which was a good
thing. Walking up to the desk, he smiled friendly to the young
man. "Hello. I'd like to have a room for one please." The young
man nodded and gave Michael a key and wrote his name down. "Name
is Michael Arch" His voice was kind but tired. Walking up the
stairs to his room, he wondered if Seiva would be upset with
him. He left like that, but she shouldn't bring herself in
danger because of him. He needed to be strong. Otherwise, what
kind of man would he be? Sighing and dumping himself on the bed,
he stared at the ceiling and yawned. "What a strange day...
Serena, where are you.." He whispered, closing his eyes. He was
still on guard, waiting till it would become absolute quiet on
the streets.

Seiva let a tense breath escape her lungs, and Nadia bit her
lip, nervous. Seiva held a hand out, resting it against a tree,
which then burst into flames. It burnt so fast and so suddenly
that it didn't burn the rest of the trees around it. Nadia
cleared her throat, and Seiva looked at her, her red eyes now
black, and she walked past like nothing had happened, going back
towards the town. Her glamour went back up, hiding her horns,
wings, and her eye color, and she let her hands rest behind her
back.
"Inconsiderate. Rude..." she muttered to herself, heading
towards the only Inn in town, and spoke to the front desk in a
sour sweet voice, "Seiva Meldain. A room for two please." The
man stared at them for a moment, and nodded. As soon as she got
the keys, she handed one to Nadia, and went to their room. She
set her coat inside, her small dress underneath flattering and
revealing, and walked back out the door. She followed Michael's
energy to his room, and spoke from the door, not bothering to
knock or anything, "So happy that you learned how to treat a
lady, Michael. I wish that you had been taught better. I thought
that you had been. Forgive me for being so egregiously
incorrect." Seiva turned and began to walk back to her room.

Michael could sense Seiva's energy coming closer. He knew they'd
be staying at the same hotel. Hearing her words, he just
shrugged a little, rolling over to his side on the bed. He knew
she was upset at him. He was indeed rude and he treated her
wrong, but that didn't matter now. He couldn't turn back the
time and get it better. Hearing her footsteps turning away from
his door, he slowly sat up and looked at his door. Resting a
hand on his shoulder, he just sighed and looked down. He bit his
lip, not sure what to do next. He felt quite guilty about what
he did. Slowly moving his right hand through his hair, he
frowned. He had the right intentions for his behavior. He just
wanted to protect Seiva from his danger. Sure, she was strong
and all but he didn't want to risk it. Not again. Slowly getting
up, he walked towards his door. Feeling nervous, he opened the
door and looked into the hallway. He could see Seiva still
walking to her door. Swallowing first, he opened his mouth.
"Seiva wait... Look.. I'm sorry for suddenly disappearing like
that. You're right. Not very gentleman like.. But.. You have to
understand that this is hard. I don't want to harm you. Or even
risk it. I just.. I'm sorry." He said in a quiet, insecure
voice. Looking down, he just sighed, taking a step back in his
room, waiting to be scolded at.

Seiva sighed, listening to what he had to say before turning
back around to look at him. She had perhaps overreacted a bit,
the scorched tree would certainly think so, but she was a little
surprised that Michael apologized as he did. Seiva walked up to
him, still saying nothing until she was right up next to him.
She poked his chest with her finger, "Hey. I have protected you
before, as a child. I can still do so. I understand your
concern, and accept your apology, but you need to trust me.
Allow me back into your life a bit. We can both be careful,
accept some help and things may turn out for the better." She
smiled softly at him, "Allow me to help you, and I promise that
next time I am a damsel in distress, you get to save me."

Michael just sighed and kept looking at the ground, even when
she poked him. Shaking his head, he slowly looked up at her and
smiled a bit. "I guess I should try that. But the difference
between a child and an adult is big. Just be warned." He said in
a calm voice. Looking at her, he just gave a smile back and
nodded. "Alright. But, we'll just make sure nothing happens to
you." His voice held more confidence again. Looking around he
then looked back at her and frowned a little. "Strange... I feel
your energy, but also a different strong energy. Maybe a
Chameleon kind of demon? One that possibly followed you?" He
asked and just looked into the hallway. Narrowing his eyes a
bit, he just sighed. "Maybe it's my imagination though.. Do you
sense a different energy except ours?" He asked quietly,
wondering what other demons were doing here.

"Hmm..." Seiva mused aloud, closing her eyes for a moment before
resting against the wall, "I sense it, yes. It's not Nadia's
energy either. Perhaps you and I attracted something here? Two
people of strong magic in one area? Possible." She looked over
Michael again, thinking, "Angel and Demon in one room, and not
attacking. How rare. And friends? Even rarer. I am sure you have
made enemies, and I know I have. It could be one of them. Seems
more like a scout though." Seiva sighed and brought a hand out
in front of her, toying with flames that she made appear and
engulf her hand. It didn't hurt though, and she just watched it.
A small sound was made in the hallway after Michael looked away,
and something dropped from the ceiling, making a loud screech
sound. Seiva grimaced and shot out a flame at the thing,
charring it before it could even touch him, "Pests..."

Michael just watched Seiva, feeling her energy rise. Looking
over to where he heard someone drop, he frowned a bit and tilted
his head. "Do you think these are some spies from the
underworld? It looked more like a being from hell than from
heaven." Sighing a bit, he crossed his arms and just started
thinking. Her powers were impressive though. Still really strong
as well. Michael slowly walked towards the window of the hallway
and looked outside. No soul outside. Which was kind of strange.
Looking at the clock he was even more confused. "It's only seven
pm. But no one is outside anymore.." He sighed a bit and just
looked back at Seiva. "Do you feel more energies? It's kind of
getting mixed up. Strange." He huffed a bit and lowered his arms
as he saw the man from the counter walk upstairs. "Are there any
problems here? I heard some noises." The man spoke in a kind
voice, looking at Seiva. Michael tilted his head, wondering what
Seiva was going to say. Although he didn't like the situation.
Nor did he trust the man. There were no noises as far as he
knew, so how did the man hear anything? Something was off.
Michael moved his hands lightly, freezing time. He couldn't
freeze strong demons, so he wondered if the man was still
breathing.
Michael narrowed his eyes a bit, knowing the man didn't notice
Michael moved his hands. Seeing the man still move and nod
towards Seiva, his eyes widened a bit. Letting time run again
for Nadia, he started to put his thoughts into Seiva's mind.
"That man is a strong demon too. He didn't freeze." His voice
echoed in her head. The man slowly looked up at Michael. "Is
there a problem, young one?" Michael shook his head, taking a
deep breath. His hand started glowing white as he shot a white
light ball towards the man. The man shot a black energy ball
back before the light ball hit him. The light spread and sucked
into the man, making him dissolve. A loud scream was heard from
the man before he disappeared. The black energy ball hit Michael
against the chest, making him hit the wall with a loud thud.
Michael just slided down the wall to sit down, sighing. Looking
at his chest, it just had a black mark over it. "That's a new
one. Seiva. There are still many more demons here. I can feel
them. I think we walked into their trap." He said and sighed,
shaking his head.
