The moon's vibrant glow seems to peak as it reaches it's
pinnacle in the sky. The soft winds cascade down from the
mountains to the north. The gale begins to rise in strength,
throwing the branches of trees in a fierce and sudden storm yet
just as things appear to turn chaotic the winds subside and dull
down to a gentle breeze. A tall figure can now be seen slowing
walking from the direction of the mountains. He had long black
hair that covered the majority of his face as his head leans
forward. His hands swaying softly at his side, each step he took
was cool and collected with an aura of wisdom about him. His
shadows seemed to dance with each step he took, a deluge of
energy poured from his body. His body seemed to be swathed in a
white Gi with a solid black cord holding it together yet the
majority of his chiseled chest remain exposed. "Such a beautiful
night... I think it's time I relax..." He looks up and his
bright piercing green eyes gaze out from underneath his hair.
"Nobody seems to be around..." He says as he raises his right
hand and snaps his fingers. As he does so the area around him
seems to drastically terraform into a beautiful clear lake, the
trees fusing into the dirt and the dirt opens up a fissure as
water begins to magically seep into the gap from the very soil
the trees subsided into. He crouches and gently slides his
fingertips along the top of the water. "Perhaps a dip will calm
my nerves... The wounds of battles past burden me..." He says
with a sigh.

Within this fissure that had been created, a deep-hidden village
lay in ruins. Within these piles of rubbish, debris, and a few
assorted bones, lay a small relic that had inadvertently brought
the small place's destruction. Around eight inches long,
colorful, and unnecessarily adorned in small gems, rested a
light pipe that was rushed along the current of appearing water,
disturbed from its resting place. If the circumstances hadn't
been right and extremely lucky, it could have simply floated to
the bottom of this new lake and lay until someday, somehow,
someone were to find it. In the pipe's case, luck was on its
side in this day and the currents pushed it against the muddy
banks at the water's edge until it just lay there, out of place
and dirtied.
Thankfully for the one within the pipe, the container had
surfaced and therefore left openings for her to leave without a
barrier preventing her. From both the opening and mouthpiece of
the intricately carved pipe, smoke began to filter outwards in
tiny, sputtering rivulets before it rose higher and higher to
come to a strange and lilting hover a few feet above the pipe.
The light violet cloud shifted just enough for the barest form
of a feminine figure to take shape weakly, a quiet and rather
relieved sigh leaving the small smoke cloud's entirety. Years
and years of lack of practice in the art of forming her body had
seemed to leave her at a disadvantage at maintaining her more
human form. "Seems my home's sprang a leak...and seems it's been
longer than I had expected. Or has it been shorter?" If one
could say the cloud had a face, it was definitely attempting to
face the one standing at the edge of the water he'd had created,
not that she knew that exactly. "Sir, if you could be as so
kind...what year is it?"

He smirked with interest as he saw the village at the bottom of
the new lake, watching the magics swerve as the objects did
their thing. "A new soul..." He muttered gently, his eyes
fixated on her. The wind bellowed more and quickly receded. He
smirked as he stood up to face her. "Time isn't something I pay
attention to as I am exempt from it." He chuckled lightly and
held up his right hand, funneling vast amounts of energy into
her gaseous form, giving her a rejuvenating feeling and pushing
her body to the surface, giving the gas a form, her form. "Ah...
That is better..." He said as he now had a face to look upon. He
now held his right hand out to her for her to take. "My name is
Urdroxa Dominae. As for the time I have not payed much
attention, my apologies." His gentle hair parted revealing a
serious yet calm face, wisdom and experience flowed with his
fixed gaze. "May I ask of your name?" He said as his lips curled
to one side in a smooth smirk. His energies flowing off his body
in huge amounts now.

The light violet cloud began to thicken and billow just slightly
as the strange aura of power filtered into her. With its power,
her form did take shape, revealing a woman who appeared to at
once come from a vast amount of wealth. The woman, or what could
be seen of her due to her form being obscured from the waist
down, wore an elegant, strapless dress that shimmered just
barely within the cloud. Around her shoulders was a strange,
cape-like garment covered in fur just around the top, framing
her exposed shoulders with its strange, tan-like color. Her hair
was as black as a raven's wing with small, purple strands
appearing just every now and then and all was pinned up by an
intricate headdress that tinkled just slightly with the
movements of her head. True to her appearance, she acted with a
strange sense of regalia; the woman perched upon the clouds of
her obscured form which seemed to make her a type of 'seat' that
hovered above the pipe and held her hands gently against her lap
as she eyed the strange figure in front of her with a rather
piqued entrance. He was something definitely...different but,
she wasn't exactly normal now too, was she? With his hand
outstretched, hers was quick to meet his with a slide of her
fingers just barely over his palm. "Urdroxa Dominae...quite an
interesting namesake. As for your apologies of time, fear not
for that; it matters very little in truth. As for my name...you
may call me Maria, that's the name I was given upon my last
summons." With the radiations of his power, she became
slightly...wary with the energy that practically vibrated
through the smoke of her less-solid form. Her fingers retracted
while she gave a small bow of her head in silent respect before
speaking again, her voice a bit more curious than last.
"Strange place for a lone man of your power to be, is it not? I
wouldn't think of someone with such power to simply keep to
themselves in the middle of nowhere...though I suppose it is a
nice view. It most certainly was years ago."

His eyes watched the gas move and form with a curiosity that
rivaled a child's. He swiftly pressed his soft lips to the back
of her hand, his skin felt warm and seemed to warm up further
when she touched him, it was invigorating. His long hair gently
rolled in the slight breeze. "Maria..." He tested the name. His
voice resounded with blissful tones of serenity. He looked
around and chuckled. "I remain because I have been everywhere,
seen everything and I simply aim to ease my hardened body in the
waters. I have been in hundreds.. Nay... Thousands of conflicts,
each left it's scar and each tempered my being... Even a veteran
requires a little reprieve." He said with a chuckle, he winked
softly as he undid his belt, letting his robes fall, revealing
his entire body, scars seemed to tatter his rough chest, very
intricate tribal tattoos adorn his chest, back and biceps.
"Would you care to join me? I could use the company and so far,
the company seems quite fair..." He said with a wink as he
walked literally on the surface of the water, raising his hands
up he falls backwards with a large splash. His eyes softly
closed as he swam slowly backwards. "You seem old... Older then
you'd have me believe. You perhaps old enough to keep this old
form entertained?" He said with a competitive tone and a louder
carefree laugh.

"A man of war, I've met a few just like that before. Though
their efforts seemed to go over a little less...preferred than
what they'd desired." She enigmatically spoke and sat back
against her small cloud that billowed and turned in small
rivulets before she reached downwards just enough to scoop up
the detailed pipe, her fingers running over the mud that covered
it with distaste as she realized that was what her abode had
been covered in for perhaps years. When she'd looked up, she was
met with a sight that could have been labeled as 'pleasant' if
her ability to be romantically or physically attracted existed
more but, years of her so called 'curse' made such things die
slowly along with her once been humanity. "I'd say I sympathize
with the need to reprieve but sadly, my reprieve's been much too
long." She sighed out as she flicked the pipe towards the ground
enough to spatter some of the mud off, frowning just slightly as
the mess covered her fingers just for a moment before she gave
up and, with a small snap of her fingers, cleared the mud
instantaneously from her pipe.
Maria sat now at the edge of the water, pipe in hand and
mouthpiece pressed firmly between her lips before she inhaled
long and slow, carefully wording her response as smoke poured
slowly from her nostrils in violet streams that faltered and
disappeared inside of her lower body made of smoke. "How lovely
a dip would be but, I'd say I wouldn't fair well underwater...as
for my age, don't you know it's rude to try and pry a lady's age
from her?" Her last words were spoken in a lighter tone while
she smiled just barely around the form of her pipe that billowed
smoke. "In all honesty, Sir Urdroxa, I'm afraid I cannot move
even if I wished to."

He chuckled lightly as he began swimming towards her. He swam
below and turned upwards, a smile on his lips as he looked up at
her. He suddenly bolted with extreme speed up and burst straight
out of the water, flying up into the air a hundred feet before
slowly coming to a stop in midair in front of her. "Oh?" He said
as he began moving around her, once again coming to a stop in
front of her. "Heh, after you've seen civilizations rise and
fall hundreds of times over you tend to forget manners, but rest
assured, I am pretty sure I am far older then you." He then
paused as she said she couldn't move. "Hmmm. Is it because you
refuse? Or have you given up trying?" He said with a sigh. "You
can move mountains only if your ambition carries more weight,
get my point?" He said tilting his head with a light smile. His
eyes gazed over her entire body. "A delicate frame such as yours
must require much exercise to maintain... Unless of course your
physical form is modified by magics... In which of a case, you
have some very fine control over them..." He said with a soft
wink. The shadows began to writhe and swirl before jolting after
Urdroxa, enveloping his body to form a silhouette of black
leather that perfectly fit his body, adding also a sort of
royalness to his presence. A circlet formed around his forehead
holding a gem that seemed to give off extraordinary amounts of
power yet seemed to make his own auras less potent, as if
controlling them somehow. "If you'd like. I could help you. I am
a nomad by nature, but I find that repairing timelines and
helping people gives me insight into my own..." His voice
trailed off, as if forcefully preventing himself from finishing
his sentence. "Past."

The amethyst shade of her gaze seemed to glow just barely
beneath the smoke that wafted around the frame of her face.
They narrowed just slightly, seeming brighter beneath the dark
eye-shadow that forever remained upon her eyes in testament to
her never-fading beauty and age. Maria had seen and experienced
extremely strange things but he was definitely something of an
entirely different breed all on its own. When he stopped in
front of her to question, she couldn't help but smirk just the
slightest bit around the warm metal mouthpiece, the deep purple
of her lips turning upwards just slightly in the corners. "My
dear sir, it is not a matter of will I'm afraid..." She was
subject again to a possible display of his power, maybe his own
special way of showing off for she could already understand that
he was most definitely and completely more powerful than any
other person she'd ever met in her life but, power and position
didn't mean much to the smoky woman anymore. Maybe a long time
ago but no longer... "Your offers of help are both flattering
and indefinitely sweet." She nodded her head just barely, the
headdress tinkling the small metals against each other once more
while she pulled the pipe from her mouth to exhale slowly, the
purple smoke heavy as it rotated around her body while she
smiled in a mixture of both sadness and momentary indifference.
"I cannot move for I am bound to this object I hold here." To
emphasize, she gently trailed the spout of her pipe throughout
the heavy smoke fluttering before her. "This pipe is both home
and prison, I suppose you could say. A container, if you wish.
I'm what people call a...well, I don't know if it's changed or
not in the years but, they used to call me a wish-granter. A
thing of legends and story-books. A being trapped forever and
bound to grant the desires of man if they could find our
vessels. Unless this is carried by someone other than myself, I
am incapable of moving from this current position. A
wish-granter isn't fun if it can run away."

He nodded gently. "Some people call you Genies... But not to
worry. There are multiple ways I can free you. Either through a
wish, or I can alter your reality and trap another in your
place, granting you everlasting freedom." He said with a
chuckle. His body shuddered once as the wind blew once again,
his eyes flashed white suddenly before returning to normal, he
seemed dazed for a brief moment. "Ugh..." He lowers his head,
shaking it and gritting his teeth. "My apologies... I suffer
from delusions and certain things mortals are forbidden to hear.
Though harmless to me, they still irritate me behind all
comprehension." He said with a sigh. He held up his right hand
and the pipe vanished from her lips and rematerialized in his
palm. "An intricate tool... An odd object to be bound to." He
looked over it, his energies pouring into it, searching the
object for any and all magical properties, sampling them to get
an idea of it's craft and use. "I see..." He whispered to
himself. His eyes went back to the sunken village and then to
her. "Perhaps your actions are triggered..." He said cryptically
as he thought. "Watch..." He said as he raised his left hand and
snapped his fingers, the world went black before flashing back
to light, the world was as it was before she was imprisoned,
people bustling around the village performing their tasks.
"Welcome home... I've seen your world through this object, feels
as though I've been here before." He chuckled, staring at the
floor before looking back to her. "So... Shall I free you?" He
said as he made the pipe appear back in her hands, his hands
glowed with crackling energy.
