The strangest thing about this situation was the fact that: Some
of the students weren't human and could safety dispatch fires
without much hesitation. But here it was; a mass hysteria that
had taken over the populace of the building. It was to the point
that she had lost the boy that she was speaking to and remained
solely attentive to the blonde; Dash. Such an interesting name
she had; seemed to fit her personality and the ways he spoke. As
if her mind couldn't linger on one thought for too long. Tempest
would have been like that if it were not for Mahoe. Blue eyes
danced around the other faces that entered the school, seemingly
unaware that there was an alarm going off and students were
being ushered out of the building; maybe they lived in their own
altered reality of something, Tempest didn't know. Returning her
gaze toward Dash and dropping her arms from being folded, she
nodded and offered a light smile at her words. "I like the sound
of that.." She said, still having to speak over the voices and
the blaring alarm. She then noticed the return of Elora, though
that segment was brief as she vanished into the thinning crowd
behind her; seemingly headed toward the two jocks. "I.. Umm..
Thank you.. I haven't seen so many people before and it does
seem like my hair is different than everyone else's. I kind of
like it now. Dash?" She stopped at that moment as she pondered
anything else to say. "I like it! It fits you in an odd way.
Let's get out of here and get outside.." She offered as she
started to head toward the now wide open doors.

A wind blew across the courtyard, pushing a fallen, blackened
feather across the grass. A shadow detached itself from the
wall, looking towards the hallway doors. The sound of bustling
teenagers greets the shadows ears, tickling them with muffled
bursts of speech and laughter. Occasionally, shouts of anger and
frustration filtered into the ears, ears of a figure that now
stood within the rays of the sun.
The figure’s form was slight, beautiful and elegant with a pair
of blackened wings extending from her shoulder blades. Dark,
willowy hair danced in the breeze, tickling the bronzed flesh of
her cheeks. Her eyes were a gentle blue, reminiscent of the sky,
and were as deep at the ocean; but were hidden behind a pair of
expensive, brown lensed aviators. The jeans she wore clung
tightly to her thighs and rear and a denim jacket covered most
of her torso; but left her stomach and chest exposed, except for
the bikini top that covered her breasts.
East entered the building inconspicuously, melting into the flow
of students that moved from one class to another. She had had
her schedule for some days, but had refused to show. Her father
was forcing her into the world of humans, forcing her to
interact with them and the other beings that called this plane
home. She was an angel, but neither was she fallen or heavenly.
No, she was a dark angel of a realm that mirrored the human
plane. And now she was forced to live among those who she
despised for their lack of care for those around them.
She stopped, staring at the faces at the moved to and from
classrooms. A majority were ordinary humans, thrown into the mix
with the students that were extraordinary. The ratio between the
two was probably one to ten. East watched them without care and
with a bit of disdain written upon her face. There was no way
that she would be able to mingle peacefully with such disgusting
creatures, creatures that only cared about themselves. But, her
eyes fell upon the figure of a girl who stood out from the rest
of the crowd, a girl that the rest of the students seemed to
       clear a path for.
East rested against her back against a set of lockers, the cool
metal biting into her sensitive wings. Her eyes followed the
girl, beckoning her to break from the crowd and speak with her
and perhaps lessen the disdain she felt for the beings she now
shared a life with. She attempted to paste a friendly smile upon
her lips, but it more than likely looked like a forced smile.

There Felix stood in front of the steps leading up to the
school. He just gazed up at the building for a few moments
zoning out with the help of his music playing from his
headphones he had around his neck. His backpack only on his
right shoulder while his right hand held onto the strap firmly.
He wore a nice jean jacket over his sweater vest and the sweater
vest was on over his tie and button up shirt. Over his legs were
covered by a pair of grey khakis and finally his converse shoes.
Letting out a big sigh he made his way up the stairs snapping
out of his own little world. 'A new school! Oh boy I can't wait!
It should be SOOOOO better then my last school......as if' He
thought to himself sarcastically. See Felix had troubles making
friends. Sure he was a bit shy but his real reason for it was
people bothered him. This may have been a school for the gifted,
people with all kind of 'strange powers' but that didn't make it
different from other schools. It'll have Jocks AKA The Douche
Bags, it'll have the Preps AKA Snobby Bitches, it'll have
Delinquents AKA His Nightmare, and the list could go on and on.
Felix was a very bright kid, he'd could easily be one of the top
students if he wanted to. He found the work very boring, and
just didn't do it though. Normally he had his headphones in with
his head on the desk taking a nap. In the past his grades were
close to failing or just failing. Only class he really gave any
attention to was World History. It still bored him from time to
time but every once in a while there was something there that
caught his attention. Once inside the school he aimlessly
wandered the halls trying to ignore the other students as they
ignored him. It wouldn't be long though before some one tried
messing with him he thought. Reaching his locker and reached out
and started twisting the lock to get his code it. Once he
thought he had it he pulled but it wouldn't open. He tilted his
head to the side looking a bit confused. "2906...." He whispered
to himself trying yet again and yet again his locker wouldn't
open. He shrugged and smirked a bit thinking this is where his
'powers' could come in handy. Seeping through the pores on his
fingers was acid. He melted the lock until the door slowly
opened. He smiled all cocky like and took off his jean jacket.
"There we go!" Felix said cheerfully and hung his jacket inside
the locker. 'Now it should be easy keeping this locker shut.' He
thought to himself holding it shut with his left hand and then
with his right he got to work. His finger tips started to burn
red hot til he could weld the locker shut. Slowly he moved his
fingers down the side of the locker til he reached the bottom.
Once done he stepped back and rubbed his hands together.
       "Prefect!"

Another girl had entered the building, capturing all of Dash's
attention for that single moment. with one glance many questions
entered her head, but she refrained herself from speaking them,
knowing that Tempest wasn't completely used to Dash's
eccentricity just yet. It was a qualitiy of Dash's that grew on
people who were worth meeting, she had a feeling that Tempest
would be one of those people if all went well and they stuck
around one another. When the woman agreed to be her friend Dash
once more beamed an eye-crinkling smile, giggling and clapping
happily. "Oh yes! A new friend!" Despite it not being a really
big deal, Dash couldn't stop the excitement flowing through her
like electricity, causing a little spark to travel through her
body. "i'm sure a lot of people like your hair, but they just
don't say it. That is a weird thing to do to strangers -- but I
did it. So that makes me weird?!" A strand of blonde hair fell
into her tanned face, and she brushed it back with her fingers,
still smiling, though this time she allowed her dimples to pop
out. She'd always hated her dimples, they made her look like a
little kid. But looking so innocently cute did have its perks.
"Thank you! I'll let you in on a secret: Dash isn't my real
name. It's a nickname i got from my parents. My real name is
Mackayla, but don't tell anyone! No one here knows that except
the teachers." As her words continued on, her voice lowered down
to a whisper, making sure that only Tempest heard what she said
as if the secret was hugely important. Dash nodded her head
softly and followed behind Tempest to the doors.

Because he didn't seem to have anything better to do, Matrix
slipped into the room the 'cool' guy seemed to be guarding, for
a bit, then returned; now donning a much longer coat. What had
happened was that he'd used the nanobots to reconstruct the
jacket into a black trenchcoat; capable of hiding the nanobots.
By this time, however, the bots had reproduced to the point of
having an exponentially larger amount; to the point that the
original jacket was now entirely gone; the current one being
made entirely of nanobots. The coat, of course, was constructed
       in such a way that it could reflect, refract, and absorb energy;
serving as a living computer eventually, as well.
When he'd returned, he realized some new students had emerged
from the woodwork; a slight irritation at best. The thing about
the new group, though, was that there was one person who'd
caught his eye; a dark one, at least based on what he'd seen as
he glanced at the monitor in the classroom. It didn't concern
him too much, at the moment, he had something else to do before
       deciding to move. So, he slipped back into the classroom;
dashing over to the computer that remained.
Nearly waving his hand over the keyboard and mouse, Matrix had
accessed the search engines and databases; searching out exactly
what he was and what a technoath was capable of. It was a
shocker to Matrix, though, when he discovered that he apparently
was a living computer; capable of accessing a computer with but
his mind; or the multitude of things he'd be able to do with
nanobots. The only question, now, was what he would do when he
fully and truly harnessed that power.
So, having discovered this juicy bit of information, the curious
technopath began to dig for more information; specifically about
if he could use the internet and other technological things with
nothing but his mind. It seemed, that after only a few moments,
he'd found the answer; that he could in fact manipulate
technology with only his mind, and could preform searches and
other things only possible with a computer, with his mind. It
was done, then, with a new air of confidence, he slowly stood
from the computer; waved a hand over it, and waited for the
nanobots to devour it and return to their containment area, then
       walk out to the crowd.
Now, looking around, he smirked; a confident gaze in his eyes.
       Walking past the 'cool' guy, Matrix began to look around;
searching for the girl who spoke to a red headed girl earlier.
Repositioning himself so he'd be able to watch the group and
watch the halls, Matrix simply waited; confident that he'd be
able to pull up information about any one of these people; no
matter how dire the situation may get. 'Hmm.. Maybe I should
create a scouter..' He thought, to himself, debating making a
piece of unneeded but essential equipment for himself. "Hmm.."

Tempest could only laugh as the girl acted so cute and
child-like. It was also odd, considering that Tempest didn't
know what it was like to be a child. All of her young life was
filled with training and battles, honing her skills for the
times that she may need to use them. hell, she didn't even know
what it was like to be friends. The only friend she had was
Mahoe, and her idea of 'playing' was sparing until the whole
'playground' was leveled. She wondered if Dash could be this
type of friend. She didn't seem like the type though, so what
would they do as friends now? Maybe she'll ask later; Tempest
was too amused by Dash's antics. "My hair mirrors the clouds
above. Though it has a silver tint to it. Besides! We're not
strangers anymore. We do know each other's names, right?"
Tempest gave her a light smile. Ocean blue eyes seeming to share
the same gesture. Tempest leaned in and listened to Dash speak.
"Ohh. That's such a pretty name.. I wont tell anyone!" She
whispered, placing her finger to her lips. Even with all of the
panic and racket that spilled upon the school grounds, so many
students simply walked into the building like nothing was
happening. Maybe the leaning guy was right. But, Tempest would
rather enjoy the open spaces of being outdoors. As she exited
with Dash, Tempest's feet left the ground as a spire of winds
twirled about her feet. "So, what now, Dash? I never been to one
       of these before.."

High School... Venus stood outside the building, just staring up
at it, for probably five minutes, lost in her thoughts. The
elders had told her that she was to be going to a public school,
but why did they have to send her in the middle of the school
year? She was going to be singled out as "The New Kid" It was
bad enough that she was going in as a Sophomore, and had no
experiences with the other kids to fall back on, but she
couldn't even have the comfort of joining the school at the same
time as the other kids that year! With a deep breath, she
finally got up her nerve and walked into the building. She had
been instructed to go to the Main Office upon her arrival to
receive her schedule, but where the hell was that?! She was
completely unprepared. A bell rang as she explored the halls,
and soon there was an influx of students, brushing her aside as
if she were little more than a feather. "Excuse me?" She tried
to get the attention of some of the students for help or
       directions, but to no avail.
       First Day of school...
