The next few moments for Zoe seemed to blur. First she was
trying to agree with Elora, the next Elora was screaming on the
floor and covering her ears. Zoe's face distorted in pain as the
buzzing locust sound in her ears became too loud to hear
anything. She could see them moving around her but she couldn't
hear anything but the buzzing. Her had felt cold with out
Elora's in it. Zoe watched as the one who called himself Victor
rushed to aid Elora. All the breath seemed to escape Zoe's body
as she looked past all them, seeing someone walking towards
them. A female figure, though she couldn't tell what she was.
Zoe began to panic, stepping back from the group. Her arms
wrapped around her own body in a tight embrace as she backed
into the wall. The buzzing sound did not ease and she could not
breath. Her vision was beginning to haze as well. What the hell
was going on? She looked around seeing a means of escape. A
door. On the other side, light shined through. It had to lead
outside. She parted from the group as quietly as she thought she
was being and slipped through the door. As soon as she crossed
the threshold the buzzing faded and she could hear nothing. Her
breathing returned to normal. She took a step forward and sighed
in relief. She could hear. She had not gone deaf.
Zoe looked around the room. It was a bright white empty room. A
sense of peace came about her. What was this place? It was not a
classroom. Or at least it didn't look like one. "H-hello?" She
called into the vast emptiness. A figure stepped forward it
seemed out of no where. The figure belonged to that of a female
with a slight greenish color to her skin. As the woman stepped
forward she could see the eyes of the woman. They were just
blue. A deep dark blue. No pupils. Nothing but blue. She let out
a sound Zoe didn't recognize. But it sounded encouraging. The
woman quickly turned, her long black hair dangling down her
back. A long silky looking lavender dress blew behind her as if
a breeze where blowing it. Zoe looked back at the door then back
to the fading woman. Quickly Zoe bolted forward. "Wait!"

The scream had echoed heavily within her mind, and Eroan
chastised her for it. Something about calling her a series of
derogatory names, all strung together, but Elora paid no
attention to him. Once the scream finally died down, she began
to open her eyes. But, what had played out while her eyes were
shut shocked her.
Students and teachers had begun to file out of the classrooms,
and the principal was standing at the door of the office. None
of them looked pleased. In fact, the principal’s face was
reddened with anger. Elora’s attention did not linger on her
long, though; no, her gaze moved to the people standing nearest
her, the one’s she had been conversing with before her outburst.
Victor was standing before her like a sentinel and Shawn stared
at her with a helpless look. She did not fully comprehend why
either of them was standing as they were, especially Victor. It
was as if the boy was protecting her, but did she really need
protecting from such miniscule lightning bolts? She really
didn’t think so, but she wasn’t going to discredit the boy in
front of the entire school.
“Victor….” She started, but her attention was captured by
another person, a girl.
The hand came into her view, its owner blocking Victor from her
sight. Elora’s gaze traveled up the dark-skinned appendage, her
eyes widening at the stark beauty of the white haired girl. A
thought passed through Elora’s mind at that moment, one that she
had never seen anyone who was as beautiful as this girl was.
She stared at the hand for a moment, unsure of how to react, her
gaze swinging to Shawn, and to the retreating Zoe. A twinge of
sadness flooded Elora as she watched the girl, with whom she had
been holding hands with a moment earlier, slip away and through
a doorway. Elora watched, wanting to take Zoe’s hand again, to
pull the girl close and kiss her. Yes, Elora did want to kiss
Zoe, but she wasn’t sure if the thought was hers or Eroan’s, or
both.
“Zoe?” She whispered as the door closed behind the girl,
blocking her from Elora.
The sadness remained as she turned her eyes back to the other
girl’s hand. She took it gently, a spark passing into her hand
as she did. Was this the girl that had caused the thunder and
lightning? Elora didn’t think she had, but it was a possibility.
Slowly, Elora rose to her feet, and was going to thank the girl
for her helping her up, and thank Victor for protecting her; but
she never got the chance, because the principal immediately
grabbed Elora by the shoulder and began to lead her towards the
office.
“Young lady, what is the meaning of that outrageous scream?
Shouldn’t you be in class?” The principal’s hawk-like gaze
turned to the remnants of her little group, skewering them,
“Shouldn’t you all be in class?”
Elora whimpered, her gaze moving from Victor to Shawn and then
to the white-haired girl, pleading for help, as she was forcibly
led away.

The closer the white haired girl came, the more pain surged
through Victor's chest. It was causing a dangerous buildup
within the core, something which would either cause a violent
discharge or something fatal to him; neither of which were
welcomed. First, that arrogant self centered prick had alienated
him from his own conversation, and now this white haired girl
doing much the same; anger welling inside.
Then the principle interjected herself into the situation and
hauled the girl he'd made an attempt to protect away; only
adding more fuel to the fire. It was obvious that none of these
people wanted him around, that he would once again be the
outcast even amongst outcasts; something he simply couldn't
change. It was made perfectly clear to him, that if he was going
to make any friends here, he would have to take matters into his
own hands.
Stunned as he watched himself be again cast out, by the time
Victor looked back toward the group, he saw one of the girls was
gone and that the other was being dragged away; having barely
heard her call his name. When she was gone, he cast his gaze
upon the one who'd caused the hysteria; disdain heavy in his
eyes, yet he wouldn't strike her yet. Instead, the lonesome look
in his eyes had turned to a cold arrogance.
His ego had been attacked, he'd been effectively pushed out of a
group he didn't even know he wanted to be a part of. It hurt,
but in the end, clenching his fists, electricity sparking from
the orb in his chest, Victor had made a silent vow to himself;
payback would be his. With naught but a shrug, he would turn his
head sharply to the side and spit on the ground; starting to
walk away, presumably heading to class, the only words leaving
his lips being spoken with a scornful bite. "Outcast among
outcasts. Typical. Heh."

Zoe tried to keep up with her but she was too far a head. She
looked back only to find that she could not see the way that she
came from. She looked forward and was shocked to find the girl
she was following gone. "Hey where'd you go?" She calls out, but
no reply comes. She continues forward hoping to find a glimpse
of her. Instead she comes across a door. Zoe pushes through it.
She sighs in relief as she finds herself outside. She hears a
group of people laughing.
Off to the left she see's a bunch of guys crowded in a circle.
As Zoe got closer she could see a boy inside the group. One of
the guys around him was firing electricity bolts at his bared
ass. The burns on it proved they had been continually doing this
for a while. Zoe tried to yell out to them but they continued as
if she didn't speak. Then a girl with hair as red as hers,
stepped forward. "HEY KNOCK IT OFF!" They turned to look at her.
"Yeah, what are you going to do about it miss I hear dead
people? Besides Caldwell here isn't worth saving, he's a scrawny
little nobody. You want a real man you can come over tonight."
The guy who spoke grabbed his zipper area on his pants. The
group around him chuckled. The redhead only grinned.
"You think that is my only talent? You haven't seen my power
yet. Not only do I hear them, I can commune with them, see them
even control them. I can put you to death and show you a place
so horrible you will go insane, and bring you back. My great
grandpa was a reaper. I may not possess his power but I damned
sure can scare the hell out of you. I may not even be full
blooded. My blood may be so muddy that I never see half of my
grandfathers powers, but he passed on some that were strong
enough. Wanna see?"
The guys simply chuckled as another simply aimed a fireball at
the guys ass. A shadow passed over the redheads face. Her voice
changed. It was more evil. She flew forward at incredible speed,
grabbed the back of the guys neck, snapping it before she threw
it down. "Anyone else wanna play?" Her blackened eyes gazed over
the group. They all backed away and started to scream as they
ran. She smiled and closed her eyes. A portal opened before her.
She kept her eyes closed and shoved the lifeless body halfway
in. Then placed her other hand on his back, a white light
spreading from her fingertips, looking like veins. The body
began to shriek and fight against her. She moved him back out of
the portal and opened her eyes and shut it. By the time her eyes
were open she had returned to normal. "Run now. GO!" The guy
looked at her and uttered some sort of gibberish before
stumbling off. She bent down beside the injured guy that they
had been hurting about. "I swear, I'm going to have to marry
your ass to keep you safe."
Zoe stepped back realizing who was speaking. She continued to
back up until she backed right into an easel. It fell over and
paint splattered across the floor. "Dammit, who's there? It's my
lunch break!" A little woman with frizzy curly reddish brown
hair came forward. The gray streaks in her hair, and wrinkled
skin showed that she was elderly. She had thick glasses on that
made her look bug eyed. When she saw Zoe she blinked a couple
times. Recognition flitting across her face. Then her face
turned angry again. "What do you want? Don't you have a class to
be in?"
"Sorry ma'am, I was just leaving. Zoe turned and bolted for the
door. When she entered the hallway it was empty. Exactly where
she had left from. Elora was gone too.

Taking Elora's hand into hers, a spark is emitted between the
bonds of their flesh; nothing strong enough to hurt the woman,
just like a normal static shock. She didn't wince when it
happens, so that gave Tempest some hope that maybe she had
calmed down. As she stood to her feet and was situated, Tempest
gave her a smile smile before she was carted off the principal;
who seemed to cause everyone to scatter like roaches. Tempest
didn't even have the chance to actually meet anyone. With a
shrug, Tempest made her way toward the class that she had to go
to. It was a labyrinth, it seemed. This whole place was so
confusing. As she made her way, she managed to come across Zoe
again; blue eyes locked upon hers before breaking contact so she
could find this elusive room.

"Eroan, help me!" She pleaded, her green-eye gaze moving towards
Victor, Shawn, and the dark-skinned girl.
They all seemed to stare at her as she was dragged away, a
helpless victim in front of people she considered friends; well
Victor and Shawn at least, she hadn't yet gotten aquainted with
the other girl yet. And where was Zoe? Elora desperately needed
her at the moment, but she was no where to be seen. She was
getting in trouble and no one was going to help her.
'Serves you right for being a wuss.' Eroan's voice sided tired,
and lacked its usual sarcastic undertone.
"Shut up and help me, Eroan!"
"Who are you talking to, young lady!" The principal snapped,
"There isn't anyone here to help you."
A single tear escaped her eye, rolling to fall from her cheek.
She was alone, though not completely, and she hated the feeling.
It was just as it had been at all of her other schools, the
outcast without a single friend but her brother. And she had
began to think that this school would be different, that she
would be accepted. Maybe her hopes had been misplaced.
"You and I are going to have a nice, long talk about your
behavior, and about why you were skipping class." The principal
droned, oblivious to Elora's inner plights.
"Yes ma'am," was all she could say in response.
And, she watched sadly as the others began to disperse,
assumedly heading to class. She smiled in that moment, realizing
she didn't care anymore. She would go on, alone if she had to,
and graduate, leaving this place far behind. She was an elf, and
didn't truly require a constant companion, though it would have
been nice.
As the principal pulled her into the office, a door opened. The
girl she had been hoping would rescue her returned. But where
had Zoe gone? And why had she left Elora's side? But, the girl
was looking for someone, her it seemed. A more brilliant smile
spread across her lips, her fear melting away.
"Zoe! Over here!" She yelled and waved her hand furiously,
before being pulled inside.

He wasn't actually leaving, no, instead Victor turned down the
hall; slipping into an enclave which lead to a door. When he
slipped past the door, Victor looked around and found himself in
a corridor with stairs and a door at the far end; to which he
made his way. As he walked, thinking about Elora, he came up
with a plan. It was a hap-hazard plan, but it would get her out
of trouble; effectively saving her.
As he got to the end of the hall, slipping through the
corresponding door, not seeing any electrical openings, he
slipped through the door and found a fire alarm switch, as well
as alternate doors to the office. It was now, that Victor knew
what he would do. Quickly pulling the switch, he then waited as
panic ensued; faculty members and students filling the halls in
almost blind and reckless abandon.
When he looked out the hall, again, he saw that most of the
faculty was gone. Then, he would slip through the door and into
the hall with other doors; opening the door to the office.
Searching the rooms, he found the one containing the girl;
Elora. Rushing in, he knew there wasn't much time before they
realized what happened; so he simply looked at her; making sure
to stay in the shadows.

~"When will I ever get out of here?" whispering inside his mind.
He looked around the gym watching as the other students were
playing basket ball, volley ball, tennis and football out side.
He came down from the bleachers, walking with hands in pockets.
Raven locks flailing in the slight breeze that came through the
doors of the gymnasium. He wondered if anyone had flocked to
the scene that was caused when Dema got into the fight with the
ignorant jock. Just as this thought had processed through his
mind he could sense the power of another creature being released
but it vanished just as soon as it was released. He sighed
lightly. "That one has the aura of a woman." Was all he spoke
as he walked outside to look at the sky, he was tempted to leave
there and then, but then it would come down to either going home
and dealing with his father, or taking the chance of running
into those who are after his blood line. He never understood
why his father didn't trust him to fight on his own yet.
Shrugging, the bell rang. He vanished once more, as he now
materialized back inside in the school wearing his original
clothes. Demarious had the ability to suppress his power
completely due to the amount of speed he possessed. He walked
into his next class and took a seat. He wondered if he would
even make any friends in this ridiculous school.~
~As he sat and waited for class to begin, the sudden crying of
the fire alarm sounded. He sighed and stood as the few kids
that had been in the room rushed out. Demarious chuckled,
"Weaklings." He stepped forward and came to the door way
watching all the kids go rushing by as he just stood there,
deciding to lean against the frame. "Quickly every one get
out." Teachers yelled, student screaming in panic. Demarious
just shook his head, soon enough the school was empty as he
remained still.~

Zoe walked for the office. A smile crossing her face. Something
stopped her. Her hand reached for the door handle but something
made her pull back. Something was off. She felt unbalanced. With
a swallow she stops and looks around whispering. "Is anyone
there?" She knew no answer would come. But before she could open
the door the alarm started going off over head. A fire alarm.
Suddenly the classrooms were now emptying into the hallway. She
was pushed and prodded as students made their way through the
hallways. She could feel herself being forced to move with the
crowd. She could feel an ache in her chest as she felt Elora
slip away. She had so much to talk to her about. She didn't
understand it. Elora could help her.
Zoe forced herself away from the crowd once she was forced out
the door. She took a deep breath and searched the crowd for
Elora. Maybe she came out the other side. Zoe ran around the
corner of the building frantically searching for her. She needed
to find her. Panic filled her. Where was she? Zoe found a door
into the school and slipped back inside of the now empty
building. She might be in here. Zoe walked through the eerily
empty hallways trying to find her.
Down hall way after hallway she finds no one. Till she walks
past a class room. She would have walked right on by if they
hadn't been caught out of the corner of her eye. She stopped and
turned back. Gazing upon another student, in the door way of the
class room. "Um, you should probably get out. You know the
alarms and all." She says this kind of loud, the alarms
screeching overhead.

Just as Tempest was about to make it to class; Science. She was
distracted by the blaring sounds of a siren. She had never heard
something of the sort before, and it intrigued her. Right lights
flashed to accompany the ringing alarm as well as countless
voices screeching through the hallways. She found this funny and
even chuckled to herself as she made her way toward the
instructed area. For someone of her personality, Tempest was
actually a quiet girl, opting to only talk if needed,
considering she never really found anyone else to converse with
upon an interesting topic; unlike Oasys who just chooses not to
speak. So many people rushed past her, even as the teachers and
those in charge tried to calm everyone down to remain orderly
and stable. As the students rushed by, her hair swung with the
ensuing wind, drifting from her body as if clouds passing by
solid bodies. Static electricity popped from her being as those
came into contact with her through passing. She simply walked
with a steady pace, making her way outside. Blue eyes noticed
something intriguing; the guy who started the fight earlier
seemed to be pleased with this reaction to the alarm, or at
least interested in it. She also noticed the red head next to
him. What a peculiar bunch. Shrugging, Tempest, who's feet
hardly ever touches the ground on normal days, walked passed
them.
