Partied Souls
By: HadesLamont Date: March 30, 2013, 8:35 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Hades moved through the groups who were clumping themselves
together. They were huddled in the corners and along the edges,
but the most attractive group was those who were brave enough to
get it down in the middle of the dance floor. He watched the
hips sway, the asses jiggle to the beat. He was settled within
his bubble. This was where he was comfrotable. The most of girls
surrounding him and the endless booze. He smiled to himself and
ran his fingers through his hair as he slipped through one more
group. The people swayed against him, and the hips grinded
against him as he passed and he smiled toward some of them,
catching a squeeze a couple and their boyfriends didn't
appreciate it too much. He only lifted his hands and pointed to
the different direction. "Back off." He simply said before
pushing away from the men who gave his back stabbing motions
with their eyes.
He smiled toward a group of ladies until he reached the bar and
climbed into the seat, calling for the female bartender. "Worst
you can do to me." He said with a chuckle and leaned back
against the back of his seat, catching sight of different
females that he wouldn't mind taking back to his hotel room. He
watched them carefully and waited until he had his drink in his
hand, but it sure took them a long time for it to get there. He
lifted a brow and looked around him. Where the hell was his
drink? He leaned up over the counter and yelled over the music.
"Hello?" The woman looked back at him and slid his drink down
the counter and he caught it effortlessly and sighed heavily
before turning back to look back at the group who was dancing.
Mingling, and soon he would be settled into one or more
conversations.
Then he saw a shadow.
One that looked familiar to him.

Insomnia exited the bathroom stall, closing it fully behind her
and turning to the mirror. She fixed the short, dark blue dress
that clung to her body so it lay comfortably on her chest, but
still ended a few inched below her ass. She made sure there were
no rips in her stalkings and made her way out of the bathroom,
ignoring the smell of blood that was still left. She hadn't
killed the girl, just drunk enough that she passed out. Someone
would find her, or she would wake up with a crick in her neck
and a killer headache.
Even on the outskirts of the dance floor, her ass was grabbed,
and people tried to pull her slightly swaying hips back into
them. She easily kept moving, throwing a flirty smile behind her
every once in a while and continued to the bar. She ignored most
of the things around her, only pausing for a moment when she
thought she saw someone familiar. She leaned over the bar
counter, resting her head in her hand and her elbow on the table
and ordered a drink, then turned and leaned back against it,
looking through the crowd of dancers for someone interesting.

Hades leaned back taking swigs of his drink, wondering who the
shadow was that he caught sight of. The longness of her hair
captured in in waves and curls that he found himself pressing
his lips together. He tightened his fingers around the glass,
wondering who it was. He might have seen the woman before...He
turned his head to the side and took in the last bit of the
drink. He needed another, but the woman didn't even look his
way. Perhaps she was not into his type of right now. He leaned
onto his elbows and grabbed the nearest hard liquor bottle and
pulled away from the counter. He was tired of waiting for the
woman to finally turn away from the frat boys who had come in
for the 21s birthday and walked into the crowd of the dancers.
His jacket hung back and his shirt was starting to unbutton
itself.
Letting his eyes land on a single woman, he pointed toward her,
watching as she continued to gaze over the crowd. Once he caught
her gaze, he smiled at her and gestured for her to come to him.
The short blue dress encaptured her body perfectly. This was the
shadow. The hint of her gaze, the curve of her cheek, the graze
over her shoulder, he remembered her, but now he needed to be
able to speak to her. Watching her, hoping that she would follow
him, he raised the bottle and slipped through the crowd slipping
into the stairwell, and walked up the stairs, without even
missing a step, but not without a few stepups. When he made it
to the top, he smiled and picked up the bottle and took another
deep swig.
Outside, there was a steaming pool, and there was no one out
there yet. When people would notice that on the backside of the
door of the stairwell, it said pool, people would be gathering
out here and bringing the party up here. He turned to look at
the water, seeing the steam rise from the water and he glanced
back at the door, holding the bottle in his hands,
waiting...wondering if the woman would join him.

The bartender handed her her drink, and she took a sip, eyes
still scanning the crowd. So far, none of the males really
attracted her attention. There were attractive ones, but they
all gave off the smell of desperation, or sexual frustration,
and she honestly didn't feel like being dry-humped on the dance
floor by some horny college boy. None of them interested her,
and the ones that might have been even the least bit
interesting, already had females grouped around them-and she
didn't feel like fighting for attention for a frat-boy with a
big ego.
She was taking a sip of her drink when he caught her eye. He
looked slightly familiar, and him beckoning her caught her
interest-as did his appearance, and the muscular chest that was
starting to show, because of the buttons slowly undoing
themselves. Her hazel eyes locked on his retreating back, and
she slid off of the stool, looking graceful doing it. She wove
her body through the crowd after him, the clicking of her heels
not audible over the loud music. Her 5'2" frame easily found its
way through the swaying bodies after him, and she gave a slight
smile as she watched him make his way up the stairs.
She continued after him, quickly making her way up the stairs
and pausing slightly at the top, locking eyes with him. She
smiled, walking towards him, stopping a few feet away.

When he made it up to the top, he took a swig of the drink and
walked to the edge of the pool until he could hear the door
opening up behind him. He let a soft smile spread across his
lips as he turned to look at the woman who he had beckoned to
follow him. He met her eyes, seeing the flow of the pool make
them sparkle as he set down the bottle. "You looked familiar."
He said over the silence of rooftop pool. The wind blew over
them and he glanced back down at the steaming waters, before
glancing back at the woman who had followed him. He could see
the feminine curves going up her body and he couldn’t find a
stopping point. It was too luscious to stop looking at. A quirk
began to pull more at his lips, the hint of white teeth coming
to shine underneath as he watched her. “The lovely Insomnia.” He
said with a slight chuckle to his words.
“Who would have thought that I would be seeing you here? Do you
remember me?” He asked, looking at the woman as he walked toward
her. As he did, he stripped himself of his jacket and draped it
over her shoulders. “There is a breeze, and I wouldn’t want you
getting cold with that little of fabric covering your body.” He
winked down at her before he glanced back at the waters until he
caught sight of the city horizon during the middle of the night.
It was beautiful with all of the New York city lights. He took
in a deep breath and crossed his arms over his chest.
“It seems that downstairs it is nothing but college night, I
figured that a ten like you would not want to be around 8s like
the college frat boys.” He said. “I saved you.” He chuckled
again until he walked away from her, glancing back as he
unbuttoned the rest of his shirt and walked toward the water. He
began stripping himself of his pants and left on his boxers
before he looked back at her with a smirk across his lips. “It
has been a long time, old friend.” He said to her before he
jumped into the waters with a splash.

As he spoke, he became more familiar, and when he spoke her
name, it finally clicked. A large smile grew on her face, and
her eyes traveled his body. "Oh, Hades, of course I remembered
you!" She watched as he took off his jacket, her eyes watching
his muscles, even as it was draped over her shoulders. She held
it close to her, smiling up at him. "Still a gentleman when it
comes to pretty women, eh?" She giggled at his wink, watching
him cross his arms.
"You're still as handsome as I remember, though, you may have a
bit more muscle on you now." She murmured, more to herself than
him. Another giggle escaped her lips at his comment about saving
her from the college boys, and she nodded. "Indeed you did-" The
rest of her sentence was cut short as he removed his shirt, her
eyes once again being drawn to his muscles. "Yes," She murmured
again "Definitely bulked up a bit since last time." She watched
him strip, and continued watching until he jumped into the pool.
When his head popped back up, she gave another large smile,
removing his jacket from her shoulders and shedding her dress
and shoes, standing in front of him in just a black, strapless
bra and a matching thong. She gave him another smile, before
taking a running start and jumping in after him.

Hades let the water surround him, and he noticed that the steam
made it not hot as he thought it was going to be. His body
seemed to shiver underneath the temperature of the water and he
popped up, having heard her comment. It made him chuckle. "Yes,
I have grown a little bit since you have seen me last." He
smiled at her and came to the edge of the pool where he leaned
up on his eblows and felt the breeze even more over his skin.
Now the water didn't feel so bad as he sunk back down until he
caught sight of the woman who was now stripping herself of her
dress and what was left. He could feel himself seeing the
difference within her as well. "You think I've changed." He
commented as he watched her until she was running into the water
and splashing him. He shielded his eyes and chuckled as she came
up for air.
"An angel like you should be married off by now." He said with a
smile toward her as he leaned against the edge of the pool. His
eyes traced over her body through the water but they always led
back up to her gaze. She always had a powerful gaze, and he
could feel his body reacting to it. With a smile on his face, he
twisted in the water, sinking down to only his head being shown.
"But I am happy to have this time with you." He said, moving
closer to her in the water. "What brought you to the big apple?"
He asked. "I always thought of you as a small town girl when we
were growing up."
"Though I do have to say." He tilted his head and looked back at
the clothes pile on the ground beside the pool. "It does look
great on you." He smiled at her.

Jesus, the water was cold. The shock of it on her nearly naked
body had her coming up for air quicker than she usually would
have, and shivering slightly. She giggled at his comment,
shaking her head. "I'm much too young for marriage, its still
time to have some fun!" She nodded her head in agreement, giving
his a soft smile as she wrapped her arms around her upper body.
"Its always nice to spend time with an old friend." She let
herself drift closer to him in the water, still shivering a bit.
"I've been traveling around lately, I had gotten kicked out of
my last home about a year or two ago, so I figure I'll see the
world while I can, I'll only be staying a little longer. Maybe
another week or so."
She laughed at his complement, a small blush tinting her cheeks,
and thanked him. Then, not being able to stand the cold water
anymore, gave up being 'shy', and swam the last few inches that
separated them. She wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed
from the warmth of him. It always took her longer to adjust to
different temperatures, and she hoped he remembered that she
used to do this to him as a kid.

Hades laughed. "That's always a good way to look at it." He
smiled and looked to the sky before back at her as she explained
that she was only going to be here for another week or so. He
nodded, watching her. "Traveling is always fun. Where are you
going to be heading now?" He asked. "I mean, once you leave this
old boy behind?" He chuckled and watched her come closer to him
and wrap her arms around his neck. He could feel the coolness of
her skin against his own and he welcomed it as his own warmth
was radiating from him. He wrapped his arms around and brought
her against his chest, swirling around in the water until he
pressed her against the side of the pool. "Being against the
side always makes you warmer." He said as an excuse before he
looked behind them, noticing that they were all alone. It was
just them. It always had been, even when they were younger.
He watched her carefully, seeing the edge of her jaw...He had
memorized her when he was younger as an awkward teenager, but
now he was a grown man and a player. He took in a deep breath
and smiled at her, motioning to keep the last part as a secret.
He didn't want her to know that her old friend had turned into a
man who couldn't even handle his own emotions so he never got
close to anyone.
"How long as it been since we've last seen each other? High
school Graduation?" He chuckled softly, looking at her. He knew
that this woman had always touched on his heart, but after
Charmaine, he wasn't sure he could handle another woman. No.
That woman had destroyed him, but that was a deep and dark part
of him that no one was going to know about that besides Aerith
and Morissa...

She laughed a bit, shrugging. "I'm not sure yet-and you, you are
not old. You are only about two months older than myself, and
I'm still young as ever!" She winked, playfully, at him. A small
string of giggles left her as he brought her close and spun her
in the water, her legs wrapping around his waist out of
instinct. She smiled up at him as she felt the pool side against
her back. "This is just like old times." She murmurs,
absentmindedly running her fingers through the wet hair at the
back of his neck. They had always been close, and they had
always stuck together, her parents not worrying about her when
she was younger, so long as she was with Hades.
She grinned "Yes, it was. I remember I forced you to spend the
night with me instead of your other friends, because I was
leaving state the next day, and we stayed on the phone until
they made me shut it off." She looked him in the eyes, her smile
faltering a bit. "We were supposed to keep in touch, but after
you told me about a girl in an email that one night, you never
messaged me anymore." She gave a soft sigh, remembering. That
was horrible few weeks, no longer receiving any emails from him,
but she wouldn't let him know how much it killed her, to lose
her best friend so quickly.
