By niw, she was quite use to the pressure the portal imposed on
any being. She simply smiled and stayed calm. She could feel
Clint getting anxious and tried putting her calmness into him as
well. Suddenly they were spit out right behind the restraint and
she opened her eyes. She took in a small breath and watched
Clint, making sure he was okay. She giggled, remembering the
first time she teleported herself, the same exact thing
happened, except she was blind as well. She simply walked to hum
and placed a hand on his shoulder. " that was good for your
first time." a smile touched her lips and she nodded, yes, we
shall." she giggled and slipped her tiny arm thorough his and
walked into the cozy eating area

AS they walked innto the restaurant a waiter came walking up and
Clint simply stated, "Just two." AS the waiter started leading
them to a table in the middle of the dining room Clint stopped
the waiter, "Could we have a both please, preferably in the
corner." Hopefully Braylin didn't think that that wastoo odd, it
was a habit of his, one gained from working for the FSB, at the
thought of his old occupatuion Clint wondered if he should tell
her, later, he decided. AS they walked to the both and sat down,
Clint sat so hiw back was to the wall and he could see the
entire dining area, which due to this placed him close to
Braylin. the waiter asked what they wanted to drink, "Just water
for me, please." He stated then waited for Braylin to order her
drink, when she did he looked at the menu in front of him then
back at Braylin, "Ah... any suggestions?" He asked

She looked around the not so crowded restaurant and smiled. She
looked at the waiter and gave her a a small wave. She was going
to grab a chair but the noticed Clint ask if they could sit in a
corner. She tilted her head but simply followed. She could tell
he wanted to tell her something, but he didn't. She just simply
smiled softly as she sat down facing the wall, which mention she
was facing Clint. " oh, I would like a sweet tea with no lemon
please." she then looked down to the menu and tapped a place on
the menu. "I personally like shrimp and catfish fillets" her
voice was still soft as she waited to see what he though was
appetizing

AS he looked over the menu and heard her say shrimp and catfish
Clint looked up. "That sounds incredible right now." He replied
putting down the menu deciding that was what he was
getting.'Should I tell her the truth about what I am yet?' He
wondered to himself thinking of his father and the life they had
together for the past three years, 'No not yet, let's see where
this goes." he concluded then smiled, "So Braylin, I have to ask
and forgive me for being so blunt." He paused as the waiter
brought their drinks and waited for him to leave again, his eyes
momentarily flashing to the door as someone walked in, then
continued. "Why is someone as beautiful as you, a school
teacher?" He ased hoping he didn't offend her in some way.

She smiled at him and nodded gently. She hopped he liked the
food, she loved it here. She took a deep breath and let it out
slowly. She could tell he was thinking about something again.
With her being herself,she had to look in. She pushed her mind
once again into his to have a look around. When she heard him
begin to speak, she pulled back slightly, but stayed in. "
well...." she was hesitant. " I needed something else to do
during the day." she didn't elaborate that she had a night job,
she usually didn't.

Clint listened to her reply and noded slowly, he wondered what
her answer meant exactly, but he didn't pry, he figured she had
skelletons in her closet just as he did, though he doubted she
had ones that at one point in time tried to kill her. "Ah... I
see." He replied simply, "So I know that the school serves those
with.... as my father once put it, 'talents', and I saw yours,"
at that he made a slight face and shivered before smilng, "Any
tips or ideas on how to kep my class in line?" He asked his mind
once again drifting to how attractive she was, shaking his head
he too a drink of his water, his eyes flashing to the door and
body tensing slightly, as another person walked in. He hated
that, no matter what he did he could not stop it. Looking back
at braylin he smiled again, shaking his head he lookeed at the
table and chckled slightly, "I am sorry but it seems I can't
stop thinking about how beautiful you are." He stated continuing
to stare at the table, thankfully the waiter walked up and asked
what they wanted. Looking at Braylin he indicated her to go
first

She watched him tense up, this making her pull back from his
mind and turn around. " what's wrong?" she asked trying to see
what Clint was actually looking at. She saw smithing out of the
usual now. After a few moments she looked back around and
smiled. " Well, for one, you need to shut your mind, keep it
barricaded," she laughed. " even though they may seem weak,
children can easily control another." she let out a soft sigh. "
and also, I'd put a power meter in your room, to calculate how
much powers are being used at the moment so you know when they
are being used." she sipped her tea and smiled at his next
statement. She was use to being called attractive, she had to be
that way though. " well...I have to be.." she said as the waiter
showed up. She turned her head and spoke. " ah yes, I'd like the
shrimp and catfish, small size please." she then turned to look
at Clint, waiting for him to order

Clint nodded as she spoke listening carefully, "A power meter?
How would I get one of those?" He asked then when she told him
he needed to shield his mind he nodded, "I am afraid I need help
there as well. I don't actually start work until next week,
perhaps you can help me with that?" He asked still smiling. When
the waiter walked up and Braylin ordered he nodded towards her.
"I would like the same please." Looking back at her realizing
that she had been about to say something he waited for the
waiter to leave, raising an eyebrow, "Why do you need to? I do
not see why you would feel that way fr being a teacher. I mean
don't get me wrong I think you look great, and I think I am also
lucky you were at the school, or I might still be fighting with
that door."
