Re: This Isn't Wonderland *Chapter 1: Two Coma Patients*

Porcelain's eyebrows shot up when he put his head to her breast,
but nodded in agreement. "I suppose I'm not dead.. But... Then
why am I stuck in my own mind?" When the Hatter seemed to be
thinking of how to answer just what Wonderland was, she answered
her own question. "I think I'm here because I've always been
happier here. It's where I'm supposed to be," she muttered. At
the Hatter's sudden exclamation, she drew back only for a
moment, and laughed. Perfect. She needed a place like a
wonderland... All hers. No one to treat her like a doll... A
Porcelain doll. Chuckling at her own irony, she returned her
attention to the hatter once more, marveling at how happy and
care free he seemed.
Upon the production of a kettle of tea seemingly out of thin
air, Porcelain squealed quietly. Tea was something she genuinely
adored, abusing her powers of attention to get her family
members to collect various flavours of tea for her. Her eyes
widened and she looked to the hatter hopefully. "Oh, goodness,
I'd love some! Thank you so much!" Her fingers fidgeted
excitedly until she was handed a cup, and she forced herself to
sip it carefully. "So.... How do we get to the rest of
Wonderland?

As he pours her tea, he began to mutter and then speak up in the
end. " And that is why a raven is like a oak desk." He smiled
and looked down to her cup almost overflowing he stops pouring
and smiles. " Well My dear, it is time for us to figure out what
we must do." He stands up and turns his hand to lift her up. He
hadn't known much about what was to happen, but he would be
ready for the adventure to come.

“Every bit.” Hands behind her back, She looks at Red with her
large blue eyes, wondering just how powerful this child was.
Everything that would become of Wonderland was of her creation.
Of course, what would she create? Turning to look at the glass
at the base of the tree, Tilly smiled and clapped her hands,
that small moment of seriousness overpowered by her constant
failure of maturity. Giggling and snorting, she points towards
the tree. “That is quite a mess!” Hopping in a complete circle
around the girl, she suddenly came to a halt, lips parted.
“Where shall we go next, Miss Red?”

The child began to inspect her surroundings just a little
closer, taking a number of small, slow steps towards the tree
that was of her own creation. From a single thought. This could
get interesting, it certainly could. A smile began to brew from
the corner of Red’s lips at the idea, gradually growing bigger
as it became more and more appealing. Finally, she’d gotten away
from the nightmare she had been living for so many years, and
now this could be her chance to return the favour. “It is…” she
muttered, kneeling down and picking up a small chunk of the
smashed porcelain, resting it in the palm of her hand, slowly
closing it into a fist and peering over her shoulder at Tilly,
rising to her feet when she began to hop around the child. It
was like Red possessed the mind of the adult and the woman had
taken the one that should belong to the youngster. “Hmmm…Let us
take a wander and see what my mind can create along the way”,
her tone suggested that Red was actually excited about
something, yet her body language would tell a different story as
she began to walk away, a dark forest fading into place with
each step she took, small droplets of the red liquid that
coursed through her veins wetting the soil beneath their feet.
Her imagination was quickly taking control.

Porcelain readily allowed herself to be lifted to her feet,
almost floating for a moment. She grinned, and motioned for the
Hatter to show her where to go. The surrounding area still
seemed primarily made of nothingness, but she trusted him.
Perhaps blindly, yes, but it was a gut feeling she couldn't
ignore. He was her best ally. As he led her into nothingness,
she felt like she was drifting through a cloud. Closing her
eyes, she again felt as if she was floating, and smiled. This
was perfect.

-As the hatter moved with the girl he would turn his head and
smile.- Together we will do great things. - He would smile and
spin the woman, almost as like he were dancing with her. Showing
her the world slowly, one step at a time.-
