Dani flashed the woman a 100-watt smile when she didn’t decline
the gift. She nodded her head as encouragement for the woman,
clutching the coffee in both of her hands to warm them up.
“It’ll look really good on you, and I have the green one, so we
match!” She said with a light giggle, pulling up the hood of her
own coat to show that they did, indeed, have the same one. A
light twinkled in Dani’s dull green eyes. It’s about damn time
she made a friend in New York. And a pretty one at that.
After modeling off her coat, Dani settled back down and took a
few sips of coffee as they settled in a rather comfortable
silence. But it wasn’t long until Kensley spoke up with an idea
on how she can pay her back. Immediately Dani perked up in her
seat, pushing her coffee slightly to the side to discuss more
important matters. “That sounds brilliant! We can get ready at
my place.” Giving Kensley a look over she continued speaking,
“I’m sure we’re the same size, so I can lend you clothes too!”
After taking a quick drink of her coffee, Dani clapped her hands
at a sudden idea. “I have the perfect dress for you! Curl your
hair and pair the outfit with killer shoes and you’ll look
stunning.”

Kensley's jaw dropped open. An offer to wear some of Dani's
clothes. Swallowing loudly, she was a little self-conscious
about changing in front of the other woman. But, she would not
let her fear keep her from having fun. Tonight was shaping to be
the best of her holiday, and she was going to be partying with
this beautiful woman in front of her. As an afterthought,
Kensley was ecstatic about making an American friend.
In one fluid motion, Kensley jumped from her chair and threw on
the brand new coat. Coffee in hand, she wanted to get started,
and get to know her new friend all the better. "That is an
absolutely wonderful idea. And perhaps you can come back with me
to France soon, and I can show you how to have some real fun
there." Dani in France, surely the French men would be all over
her, but Kensley probably wouldn't share. With a hand extended
towards the woman, Kensley was ready to begin their journey.
