Giotto laughed a bit at Monica's jest. He knew that he'd
end up working on her car just so she could keep it running for
a few more years. Even though he wanted to get her a new one,
she would never give up the old bug. It didn't bother him
though, what ever she wanted. Nodding to her, he was a bit
surprised when Linda slipped into the car. Quirking a brow, he
turned down the volume on the stereo and chuckled. "You have no
idea how happy I am. She really is great, Linda." He said
sweetly, smiling to himself. He didn't know how he'd go on
another day if he lost her. Leaning back, he grinned a bit.
"I've got a surprise for her too. When we go on our honeymoon,
I'm taking her to a resort island. While we're gone, I've hired
my best friend to set up a complete art wing to the house. He's
got it all worked out and we've been planning it for months.
She'll have every bit of utensils and everything for her studio
in all aspects of art. Metal work, clay work, paint, everything.
I only want the best for her. I want to make her happy for the
rest of my life." He was speaking dreamily again, but he didn't
mind. Looking to her, he narrowed his eyes. "No telling her
either."
Thinking on it for a moment, he frowned a bit. "If something
happens to me on this job tomorrow, Linda.. I want you to tell
Ray to do the installation anyways. Though I'm pretty sure
everything will go smoothly, I just want to keep everything in
order. You know how my work is, Linda. Keeping all my assets in
order daily is what I have to do." Linda already knew what kind
of work he did, so it was no surprise that he'd tell her
something like this. That's what he always had to do, he always
had to make sure that everything was settled and done just
encase something went wrong on the job. "I want her to be
happy.."

Linda listened to everything that he was saying and she
laughed, boy did he know Monica. She looked towards the doors of
the bridal shop and she shook her head, “To tell you the truth,
Giotto… I don’t think Monica would live long if something bad
happened to you. She would die from heart break… you made the
good came out of her, and I, as her best friend, have to thank
you. If it wasn’t for you, I’m not sure she would have made it
this far.” She laughed softly, and then her pager went off, she
looked at it and it said M.O.N.I.C.A 911 Narrowing her eyes, she
held up her hand, “It seems she needs me, I fucking hope she
doesn’t make me try on a dress…” Linda was a total tomb boy, and
she hated wearing dresses, high heels, and make up; everything
that Monica would force on her. Once she exited the car, she
went into the shop, and Monica was holding a back dress that was
pretty short, and had a purple sash in her other hand, she
jerked her chin to the side, and Linda grumbled. She went into
the dressing room, and tried the dress on walking out she did a
twirl and Monica clapped her hands, “Perfect!”
Linda nodded, and glared, “Anything else, your royal hign-ASS?”
Monica shook her head and smiled; “You know, you should really
stop cursing so much…” She laughed, because Monica hardly ever
cursed, she didn’t like the language, she would occasionally but
mostly she didn’t. It angered Linda so much too. Monica turned
on her heels, gave the girl another check, then left the
building and got into the car. Warmth sizzled inside of her and
she looked over at Giotto. “That was faster then I have
expected…” she laughed, and then… that pain again. This time it
shot up her spine, making her wince slightly. She shook it off
though, it was nothing… “Now… Shall we go to… get our wedding
bands?” she grinned, and without his answer, she peeled out of
the parking space she was in and drove up the street a couple
minutes later after driving, they were parked in a space, and
she got out of the car again. She looked to the shop, and
smiled, walking around the car, she took his hand in hers,
threading their fingers together and walked into the shop.
As soon as they entered, a male came up to them, and looked at
both of their faces, he grinned. “Wedding soon, I presume?”
Monica nodded, and he reached forward, there was a glint in his
eyes, she didn’t really like, but when he touched her shoulder
she didn’t move much. “Then shall we look?” She nodded her head,
and smiled at Giotto, excitement coursed through her veins, and
she knew if she didn’t calm down, she bend over in pain soon.

He really was being rather sappy when Linda spoke. "I
don't know about all that.. But I'm glad I can do that much for
her." Nodding to her when she said she had to go, he just
relaxed into the chair and sighed gently. It wasn't until Monica
came back that he opened his eyes and looked at her with a
worried expression. She was always getting too excited, though
he loved making her that way, he hated that it hurt her. Pushing
the frown away, he smiled and nodded to her. There was nothing
he could do about it for now. The next step after their
honeymoon and presenting her with the art wing to the house was
to get her to see his doctor to try some methods for fixing the
problem she had. Getting out of the car with her and holding her
hand gently, he instantly put on a steely expression when the
other man touched Monica. He could see she wasn't comfortable
with it and he reached out with his unoccupied hand, snatching
the man's wrist rather tightly. "Please refrain from touching my
fiance.." He said lowly, dropping the man's wrist before he
wrapped his arm around Monica's waist and guided her to a show
case.
Looking to the woman, he smiled a bit. Anything I can do to
help... Sir? She had trailed out the word 'sir', and Giotto took
it as a hint for his name. "Giotto Malone, miss." The minute his
name slipped his lips, the employee paled slightly. She knew
that name, it was a very well known name. One that had been seen
on tv as well as heard widely on the streets. Mr.Malone.. It's a
pleasure to have you in our store. If you have any questions,
please let me know. She bowed her head and shifted uncomfortably
for a moment before she settled and had a rather awkward smile.
Giotto chuckled a bit and looked to Monica with a wide smile.
"Keep in mind that pink is not my color." He said with a teasing
wink, grinning still.

That was one of the things that Monica had loved about
Giotto, whenever she was by him she always felt so safe, and it
felt amazing. Taking in a deep breath, she grinned and followed
him to where he wanted to go, and looked down at the rings, when
he spoke about not looking good in pink, she rolled her eyes.
“Oh, but OttyBear, you look great in any color.” She laughed and
another boy walked up to her, this one was younger though, he
looked to be almost twelve. He grinned up at Monica, and tugged
at the skirt of her dress. She looked down and saw the boy, her
eyes widened a bit and moved closer to Giotto. The boy frowned
and shook his head. “Hi miss, I just wanted to say that you’re
dress is pretty.” Monica raised her eyebrows and laughed, and
placed her hand on the top of his head. “Cute.” She then turned
and began to search the rings that were displayed in the glass
barrier. As she looked, another couple entered the place, and
she took a breath it was her ex best friend. The girl grinned
and showed her fiancée a ring with a large diamond, but… what
caught Monica’s eye was the ring right beside it, it had a small
diamond, very smile, it wasn’t even as big a her pinky.
But it just looked so perfect. Monica looked to the female and
pointed, “Can I see that?” The female nodded, and took the wrong
out, she took it in her fingers and smiled, and then she showed
Giotto. “I like this one.” She smiled, and right beside it in
the same carrier was a male version of the ring and she smiled,
resting her cheek on his arm. “It’s perfect!” Monica didn’t like
normal girly things; she didn’t fancy chocolates or flowers, or
big diamonds. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the
greeter looking at her like she was crazy...

Giotto wasn't quite so startled by the boy, he was far
too alert for such things, but he was surprised when Monica
leaned into him more. Chuckling softly, he looked down at the
boy and smiled. "He is cute." Looking to her, he had been
wondering if she wanted kids any time soon. With him, he enjoyed
living in the present. He couldn't really think about the future
since tomorrow may never come. Yet he found himself silently
wanting a very long future with Monica. Hopefully, he got one.
Glancing to the ring as he heard her excitement, he smiled
softly. That was Monica for you, no gaudy jewelry or any of that
sort. Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out his wallet
before looking at the woman. Quirking a brow, he looked to
Monica and smiled. "Well then, we'll get these!" Turning his
slate grey eyes to the employee again, he looked at her
curiously. "Do you do engraving? Quickly?" He asked smoothly,
wondering if they did. When she nodded, he returned his gaze to
Monica and grinned. "How would you like to have something
engraved on the inside of the bands?"

The boy kept looking at Monica, than he turned to Giotto
and smiled as wide as his little mouth would allow him to.
Monica turned back to the boy, and she felt this urge to just
wrap her arms around him and hold him, for all eternity… the
feeling shocked her because she had never felt that way when it
didn’t come to Giotto, could this be what many of her clients
had spoken about… the ‘motherly’ feeling they had expected her
to feel soon enough. Monica shook her head, this was too weird,
but the boy was so cute. When Giotto spoke to her, Monica
glanced at him and smiled. “Something engraved? Hmmm… Yes! That
would be absolutely perfect!” She squeal, and seemed to be
actually bouncing up and down with excitement, then she heard
arguing and she looked over her shoulder to see her ex best
friend fighting with her fiancée. A gleam appeared in her eyes,
and she patted Giotto’s forearm, “I’ll be right back, love.” She
smiled and walked up to them, they were fighting about the ring
size and price, Monica leaned into the female’s shoulder and
whispered. “You see what you left me for? He doesn’t even know
your style, its bitches before shitheads, you should know that,
Leena.” She rolled her eyes and began to walk away when Leena
called out. “At least I won’t have to adopt in fear of your
condition going onto your children.” Monica froze, shook it off,
and walked right back to Giotto.

Giotto grinned at her excitement, looking down to the
boy. Quirking a brow, he wondered where his mother was, or some
parent. Instantly, he was reminded of how the Yakuza found him.
Blinking a few times, he crouched down and pressed his large
hand to the boy's head after Monica had run off. "Where's your
parents kid?" He asked slowly, his thick accent showing through
his words. He was about to say something else until he heard
what the woman had said to Monica. Narrowing his eyes as he
looked over his shoulder, he frowned before looking back to the
child. "I'll be right back." Straightening up, he loosened his
tie a bit before he calmly strolled up to the couple. "Excuse
me? Did you just happen to say something to my fiance that was
rather.. Crude?" He asked lowly, his intense glare settled on
Leena without any remorse or gentleness to it. "Because I have
no qualms with putting a person in their place, woman or not. So
you better think wisely on your words.." Upon seeing the
potential brawl, the woman behind the counter shifted
uncomfortably before moving from her place and going up to
Giotto. "S-Sir? Your fiance and son are waiting.." She
whispered, trying to distract him from the situation at hand.
When the woman mentioned the boy, his gaze fell on her but was
gentle instead of the cold and hardened glare he had settled on
Leena. Nodding a bit, he walked with her back to the counter
before correcting her mistake. "He's not my son by the way. Even
though he's quite adorable." He chuckled and looked back down to
the boy curiously before crouching down again. "So, where were
we? Oh yes.. Where's your parents kid?"

Monica didn’t seem very upset about what Leena said, but
she didn’t allow herself to stop Giotto from moving away from
the boy, who just looked at her with admiration. She took the
boy’s hand and sat in a chair, bringing him on her lap. It was a
true sight, to see Monica and her beauty coddling a little boy
against her chest, so lovingly. Leena glared at Giotto and then
glanced towards her soon to be hubby and her mouth opened, he
was gawking at Monica. “Freddy! How could you!” Freddy gulped
and nodded, he looked to Giotto and nodded politely to him.
“It’s nice to meet the one that Monica decided to settle down
with, treat her well.” Leena was fuming with anger, she snarled
under her breath and turned to see Monica coddling with the boy,
her lips twitched and she moved forward, “Monny, I would like
you to release my son.” It came to a shock to Monica, but she
did as she was told, and the boy walked up to Leena. “You see
Monica? I beat you at everything; I’ll probably be getting
married before you also… But yes, this is my son, isn’t he just
fucking lovely.”
Monica seemed to flinch a bit when she cursed at her, she looked
to the side, and when most people were in her shoes they’d have
got up and shouted and cursed and just plain fought with Leena
for acting so crude, but Monica just sat like that. Finally when
she gained her composure she smiled, looking at Leena she spoke
in a light tone that held nothing but sweetness; “I’m sure when
I have kids, they will be just as beautiful and lovely as your
young son.” Leena scoffed and rolled her eyes, placing her hands
on her son’s shoulders, shaking her head. “I’m sorry to burst
your bubble Monica, but you have to have sex in order to do
that, and you’re just a prude.” After that was said, she took
her fiancée’s hand and led him from the building, muttering that
they would go shop for rings somewhere else. Monica stood up,
and brushed herself off, but before she saw that Leena was gone,
she muttered, “I’m not a prude, and you look lovely today.” Just
by the way her eyes were glowing, it was clear to know that
Monica was going to have this resting inside her throughout the
day. She looked back to Giotto as if she had forgotten
everything, “So, where to next?” She smiled lightly.

Giotto was silently fuming. His eyes shifted to Freddy
and he smiled at the child's words. "Of course.." Reaching into
his pocket, he slipped out a card and swiftly slipped it into
the boy's pocket unnoticed before he spoke with a wink. "Give me
a call any time, Freddy. You can always come over any time you
want." Hopefully the boy would take him up on his offer. Monica
seemed to take to the boy quite well, as did he. Turning a sharp
gaze to Leena, he growled a bit. "Watch your tongue around your
own child. He doesn't need to hear that sort of language. You
also need an attitude check." Turning to her fiance, he frowned.
"I feel sorry for ya mate." Shrugging as they walked off, he
turned back to Monica and smiled softly, wrapping his arms
around her. "Our kids will be fantastic... And you'll be a much
better mother than that... Woman." He said slowly, leaning
forward and stealing a kiss from her before he straightened up
and smiled. "You wanted something engraved on the bands,
remember?" Resting his hand on her lower back, he guided her
back to the counter and smiled to the nervous woman.

she looked to the person on the other side of the show case,
suddenly getting an idea. She looked to Giotto, and pushed him

leaned over the show case, whispered a few words out, she wanted
Forever Monica’s on his, and Forever Giotto’s on hers. Smiling
she took Giotto’s hand and pulled him up, she looked into his

coughed and Monica just glanced at him, but then she looked back
to Giotto.
