Almost instnatly as she pinched at his tongue and held it there
a soft playful moan escaped his lips. Of course he did this on
purpose only messing around. he could be serious most of the
time but she caught him in one of his more playful moods plus
how could he not be this way around her she was absolutely
entrancing, between personality to the perfect skin and the dark
shadows that nested atop her head, the way her playful
vocabulary climbed int his mind it was daunting for even him to
try and keep up with her in the wars of sarcasm. At the mention
of teeth and the follow up comment he only winked and fell
silent before cutting her off slightly at the end of her speel..
" hey Jezzabel, Guess what?" he stated before finishing up with
       telling her to bite him..
A little more time passed and he finished up his story as she
mentioned about the curse it had been to meet him, he only
chuckled.. and thought to make an even more witty comment but
held it to himself, as it was just enough that she might grow
disgusted with him. Still though he endured it and listened
nodding respectively where it was necessary. "Ahh yup the
annoyingly lovable Charming Kayis the magnificent, you got me
nailed to a cross.... I mean... Swastika, I mean pole... oh fuck
it... " he shook his head laughing a bit but still followed up
       with his prod.
Though his question was pretty much shot down as fast as it had
been asked. Had she really not had anything happen to her within
all this time, years being gracious of the situation... It was
odd to think about now though as he lay there caressed in the
warmth of her lap, the radiating heat only adding to his own,
which he really didn't need but it was nice all the same. " Wow,
we gotta change that I think, perhaps you and I can catch up a
bit more thoroughly if it really makes you happy you can try and
ensnare my mind and soul again. It was fun the last time for
sure, not to undermined you powers I just enjoy the fact that
you had a chance of actually defeating me and part of me wonders
what you would have had me do as your slave..." He rubbed the
back of his head tilting it slightly and just grinning from ear
to ear. The man truly was so carefree it was unreal honestly.
"Its pretty random though I think that in a place like this we
meet, desolate as the last time.. quiet.. just less sandy.. Its
pretty incredible the Irony of fate I think.."

"God, you can be repulsive..." she muttered softly at the sound
of his moan, her fingers digging in one final time before
slipping away. His taunt to "bite him" was more than appealing
in that moment, and with such little distance between them it
wouldn't have been a problem... "Hnn, such a little catalyst."
Jezabel had to force her mind right again, as was natural when
she was around Kayis. Their personalities clashed and combined
so ironically, it was as if Kayis existed solely to push her
buttons; and he did it well. Too well. Still she forced the
thought away, focusing instead on the limb thread that had
fallen still around her wrist. Quietly her free hand tugged at
the strings, making no movement however to pull them free of
their position and thread them again. Granted, she wanted to. Oh
how she wanted to show him exactly what he would be forced into
as her slave. But the longer she put thought into it the more he
began to realize he was still just playing, and she was falling
for his nauseating jabs like a girl stumbles into love for the
first time. "Er, what a stupid example..." she muttered to
herself lightly in response, words out of place and meaningless
       in the actual conversation.
"If I had it my way you'd be serving me wine and grapes all day.
Nonetheless, ensnaring your brain is not on my to-do list any
time soon. God only knows what horrible fantasies you have
stored in here." Her knuckles rapped gently on his left temple
to emphasize her joking insult. But there was something about
the insults that were tiring Jezabel out. Sure, it was fun to
mess around so lightheartedly with Kayis again. But by this time
her emotions had slid near the lower range of blankness. Somehow
the sarcasm wasn't as fulfilling as she once deemed it to be.
Her eyes darkened ever-so-slightly as if to attest to her slowly
sinking euphoria, and the place of her just recently sarcastic
expression had softened into a dull listlessness now as she
looked down toward the corners of his eyes.
"Is it Fate that brought us together like this? I'm willing to
bet it was more of a coincidence than some divine pathway.
Although, I must admit, one hell of a coincidence it is." During
this time she allowed her eyes to wander from his and take in
the atmosphere surrounding the two warm figures. When Jezabel
first arrived, she was ashamed to say she hadn't paid much mind
to where she had landed. From the start it was just another day,
one that would quickly be forgotten in the mass of useless
memories. Be it the fate her white phoenix spoke of or the
coincidence she would only allow herself to believe in, it was
indeed more than strange to be reunited with him again...
especially in a place like this. And just thinking about it, the
irony and the possible meanings that could arise from it,
Jezabel wasn't quite sure how to feel about the sudden
reappearance of the man that lay across her lap. "It is a
beautiful place... but perhaps its beauty is more deceiving than
       we realize just yet..."

" So bleak..' he commented chuckling to himself as he found his
single eye gaze upon the perfect form a distant Demon Moon. The
brilliant blood red almost appeared as if it were falling of
like rain over the forest.. he had come to see many of these
moons recently, and honestly he knew it only confirmed his
worries that charm was out and about that her energy was feeding
the lust of demons all over the known universe. However only a
day had passed and all but one of the Demon moons was starting
to fade away into the void.. That was curious for him, it meant
one of two things... Either she was dead... or.. she was in a
barrier powerful enough to stop her energy from surging past..
He hoped it was the latter, he prayed.
"I really don't know what it is thats brought us here in a
similar scenario as the last time, but I don't really mind it,
after all who else would I have such amusing conversations
with?" he stated with that familiar smile and then took a few
steps away raising from out of her lap by that point and walking
off to himself consumed in thoughts. His right hand moved up and
grasped the form of his mask as he lowered it from his face as
only he could... The strings of familiar gold energy held to his
face with a restraint but he pulled that as well and then
lowered the mask to slip it into a void. The Gravity for only a
second increased ten fold around them and the truth of his power
was felt again.. He turned back around though and met her eyes
with the mix match of his Right eye being a brilliant silver,
and the left being a vibrant gold.
"Im not sure where this leaves us now.. what coincidence or fate
had in store for us, I am just living doing what I can.. To be
entirely honest Iv been on search of my daughter... Charm.. that
however didn't work as well as id hoped... Theres even chance
that the little detour I was forced to handle with my Son might
have made me too late.. You see her energy has completely
disappeared.." he looked won for a moment.. " Anyways..
though.." he said with a smirk and a forced brighten of his mix
matched eyes.. " what will you do now? where are you heading?"

As he slid from her lap she was able to relax against the rocks
again. Long olive legs elongated over the smooth surface and
she began to stretch in a lazy arc, a slowly released breath
whizzing from her lips. It wasn't until she glanced back to
       Kayis that her expression sobered into slight interest again;
catching the sight of his dichromatic gaze. She had noticed the
mask long before now, something unfamiliar to her in regards to
him, and at the time Jezabel had chosen to make no remark on it.
Such a mask wasn't traditionally worn for entertainments sake
unless he actually was an entertainer. Knowing he was not, she
assumed it served a purpose similar to that of her strings; and
rightly so apparently. The spark in energy around them was
almost enough to steal her breath away briefly. But she simply
settled her lips together and watched him from her glacial
viewpoint, the slightest mark of a smile breaching her face. "I
was wondering when you might take off your mask for me..." Only
the slightest bit of playfulness carried into her voice, the
remained of which mirrored her nearly blank, earnest face.
Absently Jezabel slid from the bench as he glanced away. She
could sense the dip in his voice, the sadness he hadn't directly
expressed but still carried to some extent. His unacknowledged
despair acted as a magnet, and she, a shiny scrap of metal, was
drawn in to him until only a slim barrier of air stood between
them. She lifted her face to regard him quietly, forcing his
eyes to her own without a word in order to properly hear the
truth of his words. And when he finally resorted to throwing the
attention back on her, Jezabel simply shook her head. "It upsets
you more than you're letting on, doesn't it? Your confidence is
forced now, whereas it used to come so naturally..." Up until
that point her face had remained blank, a stone surface with
only a pair of light blue eyes to focus on. But as she paused, a
visibly concerned frown blemished the edge of her lips. Soon
enough the emptiness fell entirely away until she was truly
looking at him with a mix of hopeless confusion on her face.
"You would know," she started, lifting a hand to tap the center
of his chest, "in here, if your daughter was dead. You would
feel the loss as if your own heart had stopped beating."
For the first time in a long time Jezabel was making an attempt
to comfort another being. Why, she could only leave up to
guesses; perhaps because his situation reminded her in some
vague way of her own father. Or perhaps because no matter how
irritating the confidence of his smile was, it was unbearable to
see him without it; to sense the struggle he was mostly
unwilling to face in her presence. Such a feeling spread like
the plague, enough to make her heart stutter in an uncomfortable
way. It must have been a sign, something telling her it would
soon be time to leave. "Not that it matters much, but I have no
idea where I'll be heading yet. Wherever the wind takes me, I
suppose." She had to force her own gaze away at that point, the
confusion from earlier still tracing pathways across her
expression. Jezabel may have been able to pick out the feelings
he seemed less willing to share, but the concept of him doing
the same to her was unappealing; and so she stepped slightly
away, off to the side, already preparing for their oncoming
       departure.

" Jezzabel.." the words lingered past his lips just slightly
hovering int he air like a vacant desolate whisper. It was a
short lived music as the silence cascaded around them and Kayis
smiled again. Her words meant more than he was sure she even
realized. Charm meant the world to him, Kota did too but it was
long past that point anymore, the Makers had decided there was
no chance between those two and interfered indefinitely.. In
many ways that situation was his own fault just like the rest
but it still hurt him to know that He and Kota would never be
able to get close. That was not the case for the little Snow
flake, the Cherry Blossom Princess. Someday maybe, he could mend
things as they should have been. That was what kept him going
now, what would keep him searching.
So it was before she could do anything to move away from him,
that her elegant black ghost could disperse, Kayis found comfort
pressed slightly against her. His arms were folded around her
slender frame and his lips rested just shy of her neck and upon
her shoulder, no motion made just the hint of a thank you coming
from his lips. He was sure she was right, he would know if she
had died.. He would... which meant his quest would still
continue.. despite just how reluctant he was to leave that
moment behind, to leave her behind again. His arms slightly held
her tighter and he said it again and just remained there like
that for a moment before passing a sigh and stepping back to
grin and her and beam with the full view of his mix matched
       eyes.
"Even when your being fairly serious you know what to say to me,
or " push the right buttons" so to speak.." he chuckled slightly
to himself but never left her gaze for the time. it was a grid
lock between their eyes. "Im not sure where winds will guide me
next, but im in no hurry to..' he started to say it but it was a
lie.. As much as he wished it wasn't in that moment , he was in
a hurry, he had to find her and show her he had fulfilled his
promise, that he would see her again.. He would.. and there was
nothing going to stop him... nothing that required thought, one
thing that demanded it, that had hissed at him in regret for
years int he back of his mind, he was only reminded of that as
he looked upon her. "Ahh... no doubt we both will have to be
getting to our own things soon again..." he said reluctantly
despite the harsh amount of laced truth in his words..

Kayis ensnared her in a cage of flesh, strong arms finding their
way around her darkly gilded frame; and Jezabel was caught off
guard in a way that made her stiffen with anticipation. But
struggling out of the earnest grip would likely hurt his
feelings, and when such a confident man let down his own
defenses, who was she to batter him away? ...Well, that was the
excuse she wanted to believe, anyway. But try as she might to
deny it his embrace was somewhat comforting. Kayis was honesty
one of the only... er, the only man outside of her demon
brothers to put their hands on her. She sprung from a realm
where physical touch made you vulnerable, exposed, and that was
a bad thing to be... Except with your mate, in bed.
Her mind was on a mission to destroy her that day; it had to
have been, because immediatly after the last thought arose she
because to think of Kayis in such a way. How could she help it
at this point? The heat radiating through his clothes made his
presence impossible to ignore. And try as she might to throw the
thoughts away, curiosity took over and colored her face a
passionate pink. Groaning quietly with self-irritation she
settled her face against his shoulder, if only to hide the
bothered flush of her cheeks. Jezabel needed to say something
witty. something to dispel the absolutely appalling thoughts
picking apart her head. But what could she say that wouldn't
ruin the delicate peace between them? 'Thank me by getting off
me' would be too harsh to say, and the thought of him moving
away so soon actually made her chest ache. 'No problem, but
don't expect me to be nice again' was just as rude and unfitting
for the situation, especially since she already knew something
like this would likely happen again. Assuming this chance
meeting wasn't the last for them.
She really hoped this wouldn't be her last time to see him.
Their first departure had created a small pit of restlessness in
her, as if the lack of a familiar presence left her lost and
confused. Jezabel had no purpose in life. It was a hard fact to
face, but true nonetheless, and that feeling really only lifted
when someone was around to keep her distracted from it. She was
acutely aware that the moment he left again, she would slink
back into the shadows and drift thoughtlessly again. Just as she
had the past few years. And what hurt the most was the fact that
even though she knew this is what happened, she couldn't
remember any of it. How long would it take for her memories to
flutter away again? Probably no longer than it took for them to
depart. And part of her wanted to leave that very instant, to
forget the existence of this man, the existence of herself
again. But the thought of losing this one peaceful moment in
time continued to make her heart ache.
Maybe that was why she reacted so harshly when he finally
decided to pull away. At first all she wanted to do was cling to
him, beg him to stay longer, to give her a reason to remember.
But her pride wouldn't allow her to do that; so when he finally
pulled away she dropped her gaze to the ground and took
noticeable steps away. The long tendrils of black hair floating
       about her frame acted as a net, masking her face from his view;
hiding the utter panic and pain there, painted in a tragic mural
in every line of her vivid expression. To the best of her memory
he had no empathetic abilities, but who was she to know at this
point? Nevertheless she put the entirety of her effort into
speaking in a steady, empty voice; somehow managing to come off
in a perfectly neutral tone. "You're right. Perhaps it is time
to part again. However, I am no good with goodbyes; and so..."
Without speaking another word she turned away and began to
descend toward the trees. Only the slightest tremble of her
shoulders disclosed the utter instability of her heart in that
       moment.

There was hardly a thought that could pass through him in that
moment, a moment that could have been eternity and hed never of
minded. His eyes glanced down over her back as he held her a
house with a true foundation for her, for all of her sturdy
strong and not all that bad of a guy when it came down to it..
Still though the winds of change came and the foundation
crumbled under the oppression of responsibilities that lingered
and called to him. A short breath passed his lips as the walls
shattered and his arms fell from around her a reluctant smile as
he did all he could to pass the hurt in that moment with a grain
of salt. He wasn't the only one.. She hadn't done much she had
said nothing but her actions had said much.. Her chin parted rom
over his shoulder, she hadn't denied him and that for Jezzabel
       was the same as submission.
Even though that was the case as she seconded his comment he
could hear the slightest hint of pain in her strong voice.. He
could only recognize it due to the woe laced in his own voice..
" you..al.." he started but realized just how ridiculously
foolish it would be to ask a woman such as Jezzabel to shed her
pride for a moment to admit weakness. He knew the answer too..
she would be alright she would move on, but would he? would he
be able to live with himself for doing "it" again.. He didn't
realize just how important that answer was to him until she
finally turned that sculpture perfect pale frame of her back to
face him and started down her own path again.. It was a solitary
feeling the like of when he had been locked away with the
Phoenix.. it stung him in the chest and forced his body to
become much warmer than even a phoenix of white should have
been, his blood to boil and even the slightest itch at his eye
that symbolized the building moisture on the brim of his eyes.
It was familiar but all the more painful than the last time when
had been drug away by his daughter.
The tremble that remained in his body threatened to hold him in
place, as so many thoughts haunted him, Elly and Essie and
everything but this was as familiar to him as death had
become...It was a frightening emotion, one that he almost wanted
to fight with every fiber of his being. He started to call to
her but no words came out, and though she wouldn't look back out
of pride he couldn't look away and there was no aid of pride for
his case. He cursed himself for not being able to move, an
almost pleading curse in every second he wasted, every step
further away that she made from him, closer and closer to the
infinite shadows of the forest.. Her body was just brushing past
the trim of the trees now and with a single hardly audible curse
of desperation the chains shattered, torn asunder.
It was within the single check of a breathe, the flash of a beam
of light but out of no where his hand grasp around her wrist. It
was not a rough tug or anything that would hurt her rather
something just simply to spin her around and guide her home..
His one arm rest behind the small of her back and held her as
her lower meshed with his; his white hair flung around like a
miscellaneous curtain hiding the main even of a show right
before the grand unveiling. A masquerade,a beautiful play that
left the imaginary audience in determined awestruck
anticipation. His eyes held their own mini fiasco, a hidden
treasure and the main even danced upon the plush mesh of his
lips just met to hers with a perfect form of his just slightly
over her bottom lip. their noses crossed perfectly and it was
held that way for a few moments, a few moments that healed his
heart, his mind, left him fulfilled.. despite the potential of
consequences.. from his actions.. A thin line of saliva
lingering between them that only reflected in the slightest hint
due to sunlight.. and the hardly audible whisper that came from
Kayis as his cheek lingered before pulling off of her own.. "For
as many years as its been, Iv only regretted a few things, Some
of regretted with every fiber of my being, though I was frozen
in space.. I just decided that I would not leave here today
regretting it any more.. I refuse..." he stated boldly but int
he most calm tone the man could find as once more the sullen
Moon crystal orbs of blue met the Eyes of the Sun, its core its
essence.. and a lingering silence between them as the house
became a fortress, and the Lady its owner..its mistress if only
       for the moment.

The only thought running through Jezabel's head as she walked
away from him was 'I can't believe I'm letting this happen
again...' How long had she waited to see him? How many nights
had she allowed to slip by without any purpose, all because she
had finally met another being that could take her harsh
personality in stride? A being that made her feel comfortable to
laugh and smile? The night they met was probably the hardest she
ever experienced; hardest because, after meeting Kayis, she was
       quickly pushed away from him.
Still, it was the greatest night. And now she had the chance to
see him again, a chance she never even dreamed of having
again... But all Jezabel could do was walk away. Her shoulders
were shaking. Her face was contorted in a mess of confusion and
pain. But she continued to walk away because she couldn't allow
him to see all of this... Pride was a horrible thing. Spiteful
as it was strong and unshakable. And in that moment Jezabel knew
this would be her greatest regret; letting her pride and her
fear of being vulnerable keep her from telling him just how
important he was before they parted again.
She couldn't stop herself from leaving, and the acknowledgement
of her weakness burned her eyes with an overflowing amount of
tears. 'Only a few more steps... how I wish the distance between
this forest and I could be as vast as the land that has for so
long separated us...' Soon enough, she would be swallowed by the
forest, likely never to see Kay's smiling face again...
As she took that final step into the darkness of her future, the
smallest flutter of white lace caught her crystallized eyes.
"What...?" In the time it took for her to whisper, Jezabel was
being turned by the wrist; body twisting gracefully into the
arms of the gold-and-silver-eyed charmer. Crystal-clear tears
pierced the veil of his white hair, that which draped around
their faces in a beautiful curtain both mesmerizing and
confusing. By the time she found his gaze and had begun to
understand, Jezabel's breath was stolen away by the touch of his
soft lips on her own. 'Why...?' was all she could think, and
soon enough even that was a fleeting thought that fluttered away
like a harmless leaf as she tasted the sweetness, and the pure
       need of his mouth.
Jezabel didn't allow herself to think in that moment. She
absolutely refused to give into her pride, her weakness. Instead
she answered his silent question with one of her own; her lips
finding themselves trembling against his. Kayis tasted like a
slow-burning fire; sweet, earthly, and very very warm. Faintly
she connected him to the taste of cinnamon, but far too caught
up in the reality of the kiss, she simply allowed that thought
       to flutter in the wind.
The gentle breaking of the kiss felt almost as bad as the
absence of his arms around her, but when she opened her
tear-filled eyes she could still see him, still so close, within
breathing distance. Absently her hand stretched out to fill the
distance, fingertips clasping gently the smooth collar of his
white kimono. The fabric was soft in her grasp; warm with his
body heat, reassuring. His words were the same. But still, she
cried; she did not know why. Allowing him to see her in such a
way went against every fiber of her being. Allowing him to be so
close to her, to completely pull her into him and steal such a
delicate thing from her... It was utterly unbelievable. But she
couldn't bring herself to step away, to smack him, to pull out
her strings and destroy his mind like he did her emotions.
'I don't want to... I just want....' Jezabel... didn't know what
she wanted. The words danced on the back of her tongue but
refused to grace the tip, and it taunted her. Perhaps it was her
body's way of trying to protect the last amount of pride she
could possibly have left. Nevertheless the silence was still
stretching on, and she was just simply standing there, staring
at him with crystallized and confused eyes - wondering one
single thing. And that single question she did allow to roam her
mind came to fruition on her lips, parting the silence just as
her hand lifted to part the curtain of his beautiful white hair.
"Kay... how am I supposed to say goodbye to you after this...?"

Just how complicated had he turned things on the whim of his own
desires? How intricate of a relationship had he stolen te
innocence from? It was a sickening welcoming feeling that
tainted every piece of skin he possessed, that taunted him to
the fullest. His Mix matched White silver and rich gold eyes met
her own and though he could see the tears that brimmed just
under those beautiful wind kissed sapphire orbs, he had no words
of comfort for her, just a stubborn silence that had set in for
the long haul. It was entirely out of character to be honest,
but then again this was a piece of the mans character, he had
hardly ever known. Still her question demanded an answer, and
gawking at the situation surely would only make it that much
       worse.
A slow breeze passed by touching each of their hairs and tugging
them along with it in the absolute solitude of what she had once
called the Quiet lands. A thin string of saliva coated his lips
and was quickly drying up as he searched for the words to calm
her woes, as he stared her down, was lost within her.. just as
it seemed a hopeless endeavor though he found that courage.
"Goodbye?" he started trying to find that peculiar coy tone to
his voice, that loving joking tone that only he could pull
without restraint. "I feel like that word has no meaning between
us. In fact.." he got livelier as he went on and even soon had
that familiar grin on his face, as his hand searched to hold
hers for a moment." I would be so willing to take back my
comment about fate, Perhaps much more likely with just how
awesome I am... It was my will that brought me to you this
time.." He winked to her and turned away for a moment playfully
looking out of the corners of his eyes as if he were caught in a
trap. "Yeah that sounds about right, We pretty much willed this
meet up, cuz well we are just that awesome.. which would mean
that even if I were to say " goodbye" to you this beautiful sun
down, it would be a lie, because goodbye is goodbye, and well I
prefer " see ya Later.." Though," Kayis tapped at his chin and
started to laugh this time.. "I just don't see that working this
time either, so Ill ask you a question instead, because well it
just seems like the most simple thing to do, and well it leaves
the answering portion to you.." It was easy to tell how his tone
was working now, that he was being his playful self again, in
some odd attempt to make the situation seem less painful..or was
he? "So then Jezzabel Would you think about enjoying a lovely
dinner with me, a drink and whatever else crosses our minds, in
about two weeks at this exact same time... say... meet at the
Clock tower in Kalahai?" He tilted his head in question as he
normally would and let the question linger, his intention was
laced within, and this seemed like a much better option than
saying goodbye or See ya later for that matter.

A finger trailed over the rough surface of a tree, sparking
memories. The scenery was beautiful, captivating, and
reminiscent of a location in which childhood moments had been
spent. A brother, laughing loudly, was chasing his sister
through the trees, tackling her to the ground despite protests
from their mother. A game of hide and seek with a man, their
father, as he laughed and searched for their small forms.
But, that had been ages ago, when Elora’s brother and father
were still alive. However, the trees sparked yet another memory,
the last memory that held her brother within it. One in which he
had attempted to kill her, but died himself. She would have
allowed him to kill her if he truly wanted, and would have never
       thought of killing him.
“I am sorry, Eroan.” She whispered, weaving her way through the
       forest.
After a moment, she reached the banks of a small brook, the cool
water calling forth to her skin. Breathing in deeply, she knelt
down and placed her hand beneath the surface, relishing in the
free movement of the liquid. A single tear slipped from her
haunted green eyes, falling to mix with the waters of the brook
       and carrying it away.
“Will you ever forgive me? Will I ever forgive myself?”
