Bizarre Manor
By: Harbinger Date: October 19, 2012, 3:08 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Bizarre manor is home to the family of Cheshire known as the
Bizarres. This realm is nothing but a never ending manor created
by the Cheshires. Now the manor itself doesn't have a way out
into the outside world but you could open a door leading into a
forest or even an ocean with it still being in the manor. If you
can wrap your head around that, and if you can't all then that's
not my problem. There's a wonderful thing called creativity and
that's what I want everyone here to use. "But Kenny (my real
name) how come we have to pull together all the creativity here?
It's your role play idea that's just lazy man!" Some of you
might be thinking that right? Well to give you an answer I don't
want to put a lot of detail into something that might not catch
on. If this dies then it would have been for nothing. If it
catches on and people really like it a plot will come and yes I
have a plot for this don't worry. Now just because it takes your
creativity you come up with you own space doesn't mean there
aren't limits...because there are. Let's go over some of them
shall we?
GUIDELINES/RULES!
Number One: When it comes to your power's and abilities there
all locked once you enter the manor. Doesn't matter who your
character is and how powerful they are. Your powers are locked
until you leave. Only three people can tap into their
powers/abilities if needed without worrying about the lock.
Flag, Checkers, and Go are those three characters.
Number Two: You do not have to be a Cheshire to role play here.
You may bring in any number of your characters if you wish but
you have to have a damn good reason on why they are here and how
they got here. If your character randomly shows up here...well
no you can't randomly show up here. Unless your Question
Mark...yes I'm allowing my own character Question Mark to break
this rule and maybe more. But he's only here for my comic
relief. So let me repeat myself...No showing up here randomly!!!
Have a good reason on why and how you got here!
Number Three: This is where rule number two kinda changes so pay
attention. If you are a Cheshire apart of the Bizarre family or
not you may show up here randomly because you are a Cheshire but
ONLY if your Cheshire. Another thing about the Cheshire's in my
role play is that each and every single Cheshire knows each
other doesn't matter if their family or not. Not one Cheshire
goes unknown to all the others.
Number Four: No OOC here, if you need to ask something please
message me about it or call me out in the OOC forum if I'm
there.
Number Five: The sparring rule! Yes sparring is allowed here BUT
to get your abilities/powers unlocked you must first go to Flag,
Checkers, or Go to ask them. If they allow it they'll set up a
nice sparring area for you and the person your sparring. As for
the sparring rules...you can the person your sparring will go
over what rules you'll be following in PM. Stuff like no modding
and....uhhh yeah I forget all the rules. :D I don't spar >_>
Number Six: Question Mark was here. *Written in pink crayon.* :D
Number Seven: This should be a really simple rule. If Flag,
Checkers, or Go tells your character to leave you WILL leave.
Number Eight: Look I know this isn't very detailed at the moment
I get that but this place is for people to come to and role
play. There really isn't any story line going on here yet. I
mean Checkers, Flag, and Go are searching for my character Chess
but that's it. Feel free to join them in the search but be
warned he's my character so you aren't going to find him. He'll
be found when I want him found, but that doesn't mean you can't
help them look. Other then that more story will come if I see
this catches on with people. If more people come I will release
the main plot and I do have a main plot. It deals with Q-Ball
for those of you who don't know Q-Ball is my evil Cheshire cat
character.
So umm that's it! Start role playing people!!!

This was absolutely perfect. This was a place where literally
anything that could be thought of actually could be made. His
room itself was much like the library he had once dwell in. A
startling one-thousand floors straight down to
gods-only-knew-where, with each floor seeming to hover and made
of unbreakable, unscathed and crystal clear glass as well as a
gold and titanium swirling that made the glass all the more
pleasing to look at, while being constantly reminded of the
depth of which one would plummet if they were to be pushed off
the edge. Though, now, all the shelves that lined the walls
spaced from the floor were empty. It was Go's job to fill them.
One thousand floors of books, and he was at the very bottom.
This area was as cold as one could be, yet he only wore a light
purple tank top with flowers upon the left breast spilling
downward and light purple pin-striped pants with cargo pockets
on them. Purple locks spilled over a teardrop-shaped visage and
purple orbs. Upon his hands up to his elbows were purple
half-sleeves that kept his fingers exposed but covered
everything else about his hands.
He was already finished with the first floor that stood three
stories high.
“Dear me,” he muttered with a deceptively feminine sigh. “Only
nine-hundred-ninety-nine floors to go! Then I'll be finished
with all this! I wonder what else I'll actually start recording?
Perhaps I'll have to do more of the cave paintings that were
recorded?”
It didn't matter to him, honestly. When you had one-thousand
floors of knowledge shoved in your cranium, what did matter? At
least he got all the artifacts set up just as they were before
he started this! That was the hardest part! Creating books and
stocking them was absolutely nothing at all. When you used black
butterflies to make everything, you just simply grabbed and
shelved. They were such hard workers. Sharp bastards too if you
touched them without them wanting you to! There were many times
where Go had reached out for something and felt the sting of the
butterfly's razor sharp wings and almost crushed it, but that
would only bury the butterfly into his palm or foot or whatever
he would use and would become more of an irritation than
anything. They were at his command, but they were also like
Flag; They didn't want to be touched – only they found
themselves far to “delicate.” Like Hell, he thought to himself.
Delicate was utter bullshit.
For now, he felt quite sane, but if one were to look at him,
they'd see the insanity that was just itching to flow from him.

I calmly appear into the manor wonder if Chess had been found
yet. It had been quite awhile since I lost saw the old fuzzball.
"Where have you gone you old fuzzball" I say calmly with that I
laze about on a couch. The reason that I came here was rather
simple. I was bored of the humans, their days rarely shift. Each
one remaining in the same dull schedule.
"I wonder if the other fur balls are about" the question passes
from my mind as I float around deciding the couch was boring. So
now here I am simply floating around the Bizarre manor where
many people come but no one ever leaves. Rather an intriguing
concept not that it really took a genius to figure out that such
a puzzling place was home of more then a few cheshires. Unable
to sense any of others I simply assume they'd gone somewhere.
"Well I hope the others arrive"

For about a week straight now Flag as caught lying in his bed
tossing a hacky sack up into the air and catching it. As he did
this he thought and thought and thought some more. For a week
straight he kept his door locked to keep the rest of the world
from getting in. On the seventh day as he tossed the hacky sack
up and down he started to notice something different. It was a
change that was so small that the naked human eye couldn't even
begin to pick up. He stopped and sat up looking closely at the
hacky sack with his head tilted to the side with a puzzled look
on his face. Flag gave it a squeeze for a moment before
loosening his grip on it. "I can't believe I never noticed it
before." Tossing the hacky sack aside he got up off his bed and
stood in the center of the room. "I wonder...." He said before
looking back at the hacky sack on his bed. For what seemed like
forever he looked at that hacky sack not moving his eyes away
from the simple toy. Finally he turned his head from the toy and
looked forward zoning out. He waved his wave slowly in front of
him just once. In his eyes now he was no longer standing in his
bed room he was standing in outer space. In truth he was still
in his room and the image of outer space was just a simple
illusion something Flag was known for doing. His eyes darted
around to each and every universe.
He stopped and pointed at one universe smirking a little bit.
"There...." Dragging his finger down to another universe. "And
there...." Then dragging his finger to the left then up to
another. His finger was making a white line almost like a path
where ever he went. "To here...." This went on for about forty
minutes until his finger came to one final universe. Around him
were white lines almost looking like a web. "Here..." He grabbed
the universe with both hands and expanded it now looking at all
the galaxies from within the single universe. Flag stood there
studying all the galaxies. He was as they would say in the zone,
and nothing was going to pull him out of it. It started again,
he pointed to one galaxy and then to other, moving to a
different one, and so on. His finger left a white trail from
galaxy to galaxy. Once he came to a stop he smiled brightly.
This was something Flag didn't do a lot in his human form. He
almost never smiled and it was a rare sight to see. Like the
universe he grabbed the galaxy and expanded it now looking at a
few planets. Reaching out he grabbed a planet and pulled it to
him. "I think I found you..." He tapped the planet and
everything disappeared and he was now standing in his room again
but there was something different. Standing in front of his was
a man. Not just any man it was the one he had been looking for.
His brother Chess, he tilted his head and watched.
This wasn't real it was more of an illusion playing the past for
Flag. Chess was standing with his back facing Flag. Flag sunk
his hands deep into his pockets trying to pull his thoughts
together on what his abilities were trying to tell him at the
moment. He bit his bottom lip and tilted his head to the other
side thinking deeply. Then Chess started to move slightly. He
turned around so he was now facing and looking at Flag. Was he
really looking at Flag though? No he wasn't he was looking right
through Flag and Flag knew this. Wondering what Chess was really
looking at during the time this happened he looked over his
shoulder. In surprise his eyes widened a little bit. "You." Was
all he said before the illusion's of Chess and this mystery
being disappeared. Flag stood there for the longest time trying
to figure out if he really saw what he just saw. His illusion's
never lied to him when they were telling a story. The only time
they lied is when Flag used them against some one else.
"Interesting...very interesting. So maybe I was going about this
search the wrong way...." He said before walking up to his door
and unlocking it. Swinging the door open he stepped out of his
room. Down the hallway he went before he came to his brothers
room. Reaching out he tried opening the door but just like
always it wouldn't open. Now a Cheshire could easily pass
through solid objects but Chess made sure no one was going to
enter his room but Flag tried. He pressed his hand to the door
and trying pushing it through but he failed. "Hmmm still not
letting anyone in I see."

By the time Go was done with the second and third floor, his
outfit had changed once more as well as his own hair color.
Instead of the light purple theme, he was beginning to feel
somewhat normal. Once purple hued locks and orbs shifted to a
dark brown, as well as the fur upon his ears which twitched as
he hummed, his voice still femininely smooth and silky to one's
ears. Two bandages decorated his left cheek as well as both
hands, which were wrapped up to mid forearm underneath blueish
black jacket sleeves with gold clasps undone. Underneath the
jacket was a light brown vest and a button-up shirt, something
more feminine than what most men would be caught wearing, but
other than that, his attire was normal with black jeans. He wore
no shoes, though, preferring the texture of the ground beneath
his feet. Besides, shoes only took away the natural use of the
toes – increase speed, acceleration and grip with the ground.
There was only one reason he was like this, though, and though
his outer body language seemed somewhat loathing, on the inside
he was bouncing for joy. Ladders, his long-time friend and
confidant would be nearby, and though the man constantly cuddled
and overall kept within Chutes – erm, Go's personal space, he
didn't really mind at all! In fact, he was beginning to miss the
older gentleman, considering Go himself was only twelve and
Ladders nineteen.
“C'mon, Ladders,” Go muttered below his breath, bouncing on the
balls of his feet as he continued to stock the shelves with
armfuls of books at a time. “I know you're close!...”
******************
Tall and thin, yet strong and light-spoken. A voice which only
the most immaculate of the Heaven's tenors could ever hope to
be, and platinum blonde locks which always flowed perfectly from
their teardrop-shaped perch. Striking light purple orbs peered
overtop bronze rimmed glasses which sat upon a thin, petite
nose, always hovering above a quaint grin that completed such
perfect features. This was the face of Ladders, and though he
didn't think too much on himself, he knew he was quite the
flattering view. Still, this was what separated himself from
most pigs who 'Know they're 'All That' and more.' He didn't
speak or think much about it. It's how he's looked thus far, and
it didn't seem as if it was going to change, so why be so high
nosed about it?
A medium hued purple jacket cloaked such a slender form with
gold cuff clasps, its front open and flared to expose the
bandages around his neck and the green tank top he wore under,
which was tucked neatly beneath black trousers which held a
leather belt, its front buckle pure gold yet simplistic enough.
He, unlike little Chutes, believed in wearing shoes. They
protected the feet from small shrapnel and abrasives such as
rocks and razor grass, but he could never assuage the headstrong
little man. The thought brought a much wider grin to his lips
now as he paced through the entrance of the manor. He knew
exactly where he was going. Each elegantly graceful step he took
seemed slow, almost as if each step were to a gentle waltz, but
one would be fooled by the true speed in which he moved which
was really quite the quick clip, bringing him to near an old
acquaintance of theirs; Flag.
“Good day, Flag,” he said with a smooth nod of his head, his
voice the same being smooth as silk. “Any progress on your
brother? And just to be sure, little Chute's -” He paused for a
moment and covered his mouth with the back of his hand before
chuckling a little. “Excuse me, his pet name slipped. I meant
Go; is his room four doors down from here? This mansion seems to
become more expansive by the minute.”

Sitting in the shadows, Domino's ears twitched as he looked to
the robotic chicken walking around at his feet; Montague. Idly
watching the chicken and writing in his current book, the
strange man seems so calm. The moment Montague's head snaps up,
however, Domino had slipped the book into his bag and dashed off
into the corridor. Hair blowing behind him, the pointy eared
youth sprinted past various doors as his green hoodie and brown
pants ballooned out. "Where are you? We must find you, before
they do... If they find you before we do.. it'll bad for us..."
Dashing through the hall, past the doors, Domino was looking for
something.. anything.. "The halls.. the halls.. They go
everywhere and nowhere! Where are you?! We must find you before
they do!" Fear, anxiety, the horror of ''them' coming.. Pushed
Domino past the brink of insanity into a world of mystery in
which he saw himself as the main plot device to save everyone..
His very existence was maddening to him, he was always chomping
at the bit, trying to escape reality and find 'the key' he was
searching so desperately for, now. "Where are you?!" As he raced
towards a place he heard voices from.

It's not that she didnt care about finding Chess. Not
that she didnt want to help....not anything like that. The
simple truth? She was just too lazy, and it was just too
boring.
Checkers was lounging upon the cieling in her purple, and black
themed room. a faint, purple smoke was billowing out from under
her slim body as she curled into a ball upon the textured
surface, her tail dangling downward, the tip curled around
Winston's ears. A soft yawn slipped from rainbow lips as she
wondered to herself....often answering all her questions, and
reassuring her anytime she had a doubt....herself. Her ratted,
purple hair wasnt hidden under a black top hat right now, and so
her small, feminine ears were clearly visible now. The
triangular cones were purple, and black checkered just like her
tail, but they were also littered with piercings. Each ear
twitched, one after the other before they drooped, and only
added to her lazy look. Her icy eyes gazed around her....rather
odd room. The textured cieling was purple, and black, but the
color seemed to drip from the surface, and fall to her purple,
and black carpet. Each drop landed with an odd ripple, but
should one walk into the room the carpet would be completely
dry, and the drops would miss their person completely, literally
curving around them to miss their bodies. No furniture was on
the floor. Everything was either fixed upon the cieling, or the
walls in odd angles that would seem near impossible. You see,
Checkers hated being on the ground. She would never walk upon
it, never lay on it. Never.
Cards randomly floated about the room, each one a Spade. If one
took enough time to count them all only one would be missing.
See, Checkers kept the Queen on her person...and in her mind.
She spoke to The Queen often, and cherished the conversation
her, The Queen, and Winston had on a daily basis. One such
conversation was happening right now. Checkers groaned as
Winston droned on about how she should be helping in the search
for Chess. Always the pure one out of this relationship. Her icy
eyes looked up, which in her current position would be down, at
Winston, and sighed,"It's just so boring. I dont read...reading
is far too much..." she mumbled, her low voice sounding sleepy.
The Cheshire was pleasantly surprised that Winston had stopped
talking now...mostly because The Queen had begun. Checkers
listened carefully, her ears perked, but her eyes now closed.
The Queen was the Evil in this relationship. She was now urging
Checkers to just calm herself, relax, and let the boy come home
on his own. No one wanted to search for someone who didnt want
to be found. There was no use in it. Checkers liked that idea
more, and so she continued to do so, her eyes now resting on the
door to her room. The door that was propped open so that she
could see the hallway outside. A much more normal looking area
than her oddball room.
Though she was the neutral party in her three way friednship
with herself, she still had tendancies to think like The Queen
more so than Winston, and Winston was her best friend. She knew
that her brother, and cousin were fine on their own. Their minds
were far more....in tact than her own anyway. She been far to
gone for far to long. The woman yawned yet again, and turned
over onto her stomach, her arms curled before her making a
cradle where her head rested easily. She had long since grown
bored of this conversation, and so while Winston, and The queen
bickered in her mind, she simply ignored them, and stared out
the door. It wouldnt be long before someone noticed that the
door that was never left open was set ajar, and Checkers was
activly inviting conversation. Something she never did.

Flag turned his head upon hearing Ladders speak to him. It had
been a few weeks since he had any contact with anyone in the
manor. Locking himself away in his room and keeping the outside
world from getting in. "Good day? Yes I suppose it might be, I'm
not to interested though if a day is good or bad." Flag lifted
his left leg just a bit st rub an itch on his right leg as he
looked at his brothers door again. He saw his brothers
disappearance as a puzzle and that's the only reason he was
trying to solve it. He treated it more as a game that he was
having a hell of a time figuring out. Those were the best kind
though in his mind. If he figured something out to quickly it
often annoyed him. "Progress?" Flag nodded slightly again before
looking at Ladder yet again. "I suppose...I've been going about
this search the wrong way. I'm no longer worried about looking
for Chess. I'm looking for something...well some one else now."
Flag looked down the hallway counting the doors before nodding a
bit. "Yes Go's door is the fourth door down. Haven't seen him
for a while. I haven't seen anyone for a while now that I think
about it." Sinking his hands down into his pockets he turned and
started walking down the hallway in the direction that Ladder's
came from. "Have a uhh good day Ladders. I think I shall see
what I can get myself into around here and possibly see who's
home."
(Sorry guys it's a bit of a short post!)

Deciding it would be a good idea to go find someone to talk to,
since Montague wasn't responding, Domino spots a somewhat open
door. Upon seeing said door, he slows down and slips into the
door and looks around; then up, spotting Checkers up by the
ceiling. "Oh, good, we found her." Then, placing a foot on the
wall, the strange one -even by Cheshire standards- begins to
walk up the wall and finally sits down. Knowing it would be
better if he didn't try to pour a cup of tea, Domino chuckled
and began to speak. "Domino found you."
"Soon to have company, we are. When the time comes, before they
do, we need to find him." Strangely, he seemed to calm down
slightly; despite still rambling about 'them' and 'they' so at
least in that regard, it was good. Having been driven insane by
Montague's constant ignorance of his words, Domino was now in
the pit of madness and there was no way back. The halls, oh dear
ever-fucking-loving god, the halls.. they were horrible; but, he
wouldn't speak of them unless someone mentioned them. "Domino
would enjoy a conversation with the girl Checkers."

Go couldn't wait. This was driving him mad. In the time that
passed, which was quite a small amount of time, he had gotten
another ten floors done in the library. This brought him to
thirteen floors. This was good. Very good. They could recover
books even more quickly now, and that meant that any books that
looked like a Cheshire would write in them would go through a
sifting that would, after being narrowed down to something
similar to a Bizarre, would go straight to Flag or Domino.
Checkers hated reading for some reason. Who would hate reading?
Reading was knowledge. Knowledge won hearts and wars, blew up
entire cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki and then rebuilt
them!! Who knows what one could do with the knowledge The
Sentient of The Library – especially if it got in the wrong
hands?!
He had to calm down. No matter what, Go had to calm down. He had
to be presentable for Ladders so they could be around each other
again haphazardlessly. The last time wasn't so pretty...That was
actually when The Library originally burned down. That wasn't
good. Not good at all. Go, or Chutes hadn't survived if Ladders
didn't show up, and Chutes, or Go, owed him for it. A lot. It
was why he now finished another five levels, bringing them to
eighteen floors. It was a wonder what he could do under pressure
or anxiety, and the only thing that could slow him down would be
Ladders to come in....
God Chutes wished his Ladders would come in...
********************
When was the last time he saw Flag? Surely he hadn't been here
the last time the boy could've been out and about. He was here
when he finally brought little Chutes back home. Chutes was a
wreck back then, but after getting him started with a beautiful
nest bed and the basic structure of The Library which he was
sure had just about as much room as the Manor itself had, he had
to leave to avoid all the things that flew about so he wouldn't
be decapitated. Little Chutes was adorable when he was set to
work, in his opinion. But, of course, that was also biased. They
had a little secret, and it almost slipped when he mentioned
Go's pet-name. As far as the progress, though, Flag seemed to be
on the ball again, per usual. It appeared there was a much more
effective-yet-roundabout way to get to Chess, and whatever it
was, he was sure Flag was bent on it.
Just before he could thank Flag, though, he had to quickly dart
towards Chess's door, now narrowly avoiding the green streak of
Domino that flashed down the hall. What the hell was that guy
doing?! Ladders had to huff and comb his hair from his face with
dainty fingers before resisting the urge to pat Flag on the
back, now simply bowing and watching him tend to his own
business before noticing where Domino went. It brought a smile
to his lips. It seemed Checkers would be pre-occupied for a
while, so he could easily slip four doors down and into The
Library, which he would do just that.
With quick, perfectly silent bounds, Ladders' lithe body flashed
over to little Chutes' door before quickly opening it and
slipping within...To find his eyes boggle. The young boy already
had all the artifacts set up and locked down?! That was
dangerous on it's own – not even waiting for someone experienced
with charms and jinxes such as himself to get here! He was going
to give Chutes a sharp tongue before today was over, but he had
to find the boy first. Undoubtedly he would be starting at the
bottom floor and working up. How far had he gotten, though?
Ladders already knew that Chutes would set a charm on the room
anyway to allow his powers, and he found himself to be right
when he held his palm out flared to begin locating Chutes'
energy signature....
Which was already on level twenty. With that information, and a
quick flick of his wrist, Ladders quickly dispersed his
molecular structure and begin to drop very quickly through the
floors, taking only a few seconds to reach floor twenty one to
meet Chutes just before he'd arrive.
“Oh Chuuuuuutes~!” he called out, his voice light and teasing as
his hands cupped his mouth. “I'm here~.”
((LIBRARY LEVEL COUNT: 20))
