Magical Ability Training Ground - When Brothers Collide
By: Landon Yamato Date: October 1, 2012, 3:03 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The soft smell of the damp grounds filled the air as Landon
slowly walked towards the large rusted iron gates that hung
loosely from their hinges, his eye's slowly taking in the sight
of what was once his home, The way the cobbled courtyard was now
over grown with strong thick weeds, the way the water fountain
still continued to gently spew water into the murky green basin
beneath it.
Though out of everything his eye's rested upon the sign above
the main entrance to the building.
"The Magical Ability Training Ground…" Landon slowly spoke the
words with a soft sense of regret as memories of how he used to
live in the west wing with his brother and friends… How fights
broke out every day… How his father not only raised him and his
brother but also ran this school and kept it clean and pristine…
How student's used to always fight against his father but how
all would do as he said when he finally got serious… How some of
the greatest powers in history used to come and just… Drink with
his father… How he used to sit beneath the large tree listening
to music and wonder how long would it take him to fill the shoes
his father would one day hand to him…
Those day's were lost long ago when he killed his father… When
he was lost within the mind game Vermillion had played with him…
Though more than anything he watched and wondered where his
brother was… How long it had been and how they would react after
so many years… If all the old student's still remembered this
place of it they had all ran far away… It was a fearful moment…
Though the thing that scared him the most… Was the fact that his
father might still be here...

He already wondered the hollow halls of the school. His
footsteps echoed through the corridors, like the faint memory of
the bustling noises that once filled the place he called home.
His boots left prints among the grime that now covered the
schools floor. It was an understatement to say this place had
fallen into disrepair. The brother had abandoned this place long
ago. Landon caught within the mind games of the one called
Vermillion. Kevin following his brother blindly like he always
had.
He eyes come to rest upon the office door of his father. His
hand shook with the emotion the welled within him from just
seeing his fathers name printed in black on the doors frosted
glass. Hyouzan J. Yamato. He gripped the nob and began to turn
it. His mind playing though a memory. Him and Landon both
sitting in chairs in front of his fathers desk. Being scolded
again for fighting on school grounds. Landon only smiled taking
his fathers words lightly. He could hear his brothers voice as
if he were sitting right next to him this very moment.
Father we are brother. The two of us were ment to fight. We will
do it now, and we will do it to the end of our very existences.
Their father always did the same thing when Landon said that. He
would lean back in his chair, put his hands behind his head and
sigh. "You have no idea how right you are boy." Then he would
turn to face the wall behind him like he didnt want to look at
the two any longer. With the silence the two of them knew they
were dismissed and would go back to their classes hooting and
hollering with one another like that hadent been fighting less
then twenty minuets ago.
Kevin couldnt bring himself to turn the door nob. Though he felt
no presence within the office he didnt want to confirm it. As if
leaving the office be would make sure his father was sitting in
the chair, waiting for him to enter once more. This time he
would not enter, he would allow himself the memory of his father
to stay exactly that way. As if he would ramin alive and waiting
as long as the door was never opened.

Walking around the grounds Landon saw his old resting spot, the
large tree… Though now it's life had faded, if sat in the ground
tired and warn out from it's long life and with little company
it had slowly withered a slow and regretful death, though
knowing how it's soul must feel Landon took his seat beneath it
once more and looked out upon the area before him. "I remember i
used to sit here every day with music playing trying to avoid
what ever may come…" He laughed lightly to himself before
pausing allowing the cold breeze to rush past him before he rose
to his feet, tapping his hand against the tall thick frozen
trunk of the now dead tree, it's surface cracking only for it to
slowly fall apart. "I hope you rest in peace old friend… Rest in
peace and listen to the music i once loved…" He smiled softly
before turning to the main building… he could feel the presence
of someone moving… He knew who it would be… fact their very body
resonated with such heat and passion that sent his own body into
a screaming fit of frozen desire… He smirked lightly before
making his next destination the roof of the old building.

He turned away from the door without opening it. He Walked away
with one hand in his pocket and waved one hand over his
shoulder. "Bye dad, Ill come to see you again sometime. Not
ready just yet." He knew the real reason he wouldn't open the
door. He just wasent ready to say goodbye yet. So with the fond
memory in his head he walked away.
He found himself at the bottom of the stairs, they lead up to
the roof. He had spent alot of time there when he was here. So
now he made his way up the stare case. This time memorys of
himself sitting on the roof alone flashed in his head. For some
reason he had felt alone alot when he was a child. He hated it
but spent most of him time running away from everyone else.
Though there were the fond memorys of when his brother would
join him, gazing down at all the other.
Then there was the only other person who would seek him out on
the rooftop. Luna, he had fancied her alot back then. Part of
him still did. As he ascended the stairs he thought of her. What
she may be doing now. Wondering if she were still alive. He
reached the door that lead onto the roof and tried opening it.
But it was stuck, warped from years of unuse. He raised his foot
and placed it against the door. A quick tense of his muscles
flinging the door from its hinges and out onto the roof.
