       Donatella and Domnik

Domnik used to run these fucked up streets, the cracked pavement
where he once stood toe to toe with the toughest sumbitches in
this small town looked so much different in the daylight than
they did under the streetlamps. You could tell the road wasn't
black, but an off grey, unlike the pitch dark and crimson that
covered them in the middle of a brawl. That entire idea was put
far behind him, those broken and bruised knuckles now made a
honest living as a cashier inside of some run down old
convenience store on the corner of 53rd and Kings. Making his
way to that very job, wearing his Wrangler faded boot cut jeans,
some steel toed work boots, and a long black crew neck shirt.
His black locks bounced up and down with each step as he carried
himself highly down Kings street. 'Another bitchin' day at the
shithole' he whispered under his breath, a heavy sigh outlining
his apparent excitement as he reached for the door and heard the
bell go off as he pushed the glass mass into the store.

Donatella has only been in a body fot a short period of time in
a field. She was naked as she wandered the fields till she
stumbled upon a man and what seemed to be his child. She walked
till her weight shifted making a crack beneath her feet. The two
jumped and screamed seeing her naked body. She gasped slightly
and felt the flesh grow how on her face. They ran off and and
she touched her cheeks not knowing what the feeling was. Quickly
she burst into a cluster of stars, te body fading in the air.
The stars swiftly moved through the field, as far as she could
get from the man and the child. Moving at lightening speed she
zipped her way into a town. Her stars quickly formed into woman
again this time was different from her previous body. Her old
body was frail, skinny and unhealthy looking. This body was tan,
had tattoos on her skin, long blonder wavy hair that covered her
blue eyes. A green tshirt and blue jean shorts also was there to
cover her body. The cluster of stars clenched tight in the chest
thumping hard as a human heart would from running. She slipped
into the store she had formed by." Hello?" her new voice called
out to the brightly lit store.

*Bing Biiing* 'Hello?'The door rang as it opened once again, the
man behind the counter idly reading his paper, turning the page
as he spoke over the rustling of the newsprint in his hands.
"Welcome to QuickStop... Is there anything I can help you with?"
Domnik didn't like associating with many of the people who ran
through this town, and although the woman's voice didn't sound
familiar, something told him she was just another one of the
townies. Behind his Headlines mask he stayed, skimming through
the sports articles of their five page hometown paper to see the
Penguin scores, rather satisfied with the resulted of the last
few games. After learning that his favorite team had once again
won their game, he was content with slowly lowering the paper
into his lap to take a look at the girl who had just entered,
still cautious of strange people. One hand, placed under the
paper, gripped the pistol the store kept as a security measure,
his finger ready on the trigger.
