"Pride is a valuable thing..." Magnus conceded, his eyes
scanning the table as he spoke. They raised to Landon once more.
"But we value life over pride. And not just our own lives, but
the lives of all. All creatures, our family, and yours. To watch
those lives fade would be an utter waste." Magnus realized that
he spoike more for himself than anyone else, but that didn't
matter. What he said was truth. Though, he did wonder who made
such a claim. He wouldn't have enjoyed hearing such a thing
either. And he certainly would expect one of his own to radomly
boast such a threat...

"Magnus... We have never met..." Landon smiled softly before
stepping forward on the wall table, his jacket dancing in the
wind behind him to create the image of almost demon wings as he
approached. "I am known as a being who loves war... Who seeks
destruction... Who kills on a whim... As i'm sure you know?" He
dropped to a perch in front of Magnus as he stood on the desk so
their eye's were on the same level. "But I am a man of my
word... We won't kill the one who boasted... We only want him to
meet our lord... And we promise no one within this city will die
today..." He spoke softly, not as if too threat but more out of
concern, he liked war he could not deny such a thing but he
respected every Tyret for various reasons and bringing a darker
form of himself upon their doors was not something he enjoyed.
"Magnus... Please... As leader to leader... Do not let this war
start as blood shall be spilled, both sides shall feel the
pain... But unlike you all... We Abyssal's are eternal until our
contract is complete... We would come back... Just like Vlad...
Please do not make this a war that will span the ages..." He
lowered his head waiting either an attack of blade or for words
of agreement from the Tyret... He would accept either without
retaliation... The hour had not passed yet... He would stick to
his words even if his brothers would not... He would not harm a
Tyret for the span of one hour...

Raysulon Stood up and looked to Landon. "Landon Walk with me as
a friend, and an equal and we will discuss this in private. One
Abyssal, to another." Raysulon spoke up as he motioned to the
door of his own office. He wanted this war to not happen but
would fight if it needed to happen. "Magnus watch over these
chambers tell me and Landon return." He spoke up as he walked to
the door.

His eye's glances over at Raysulon before he smiled softly and
nodded. "If you would give me a moment to hear what Magnus would
like to do then I shall yes..." He looked back to his brother
Abyssal's and smiled. "When i am gone... None of us fight... If
they attack us we wait... We watch... And we wait until I return
understand brothers?" He looked back to Magnus and sighed
softly. "I trust your side not to attack us without reason or
warning... But at the same time it's nice to be prepared..."

By: Charm Date: January 20, 2012, 2:33 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
(To her mother and father- The council room)
The warmth of Alivia's embrace was the only tangible connection
tethering Charm to sanity now, in the final hour of life she
might ever see. Not too long before, she had been in Sayor's
loose grip, hidden among the deep cherry blossom groves of the
Tyretian home. The sunrise had coaxed her from her bed that
morning; calling her out into the warm sunlight with peaceful,
windy sighs. The day had started off so gently, and sitting here
now, in the encirclement of her mother's arms, she wondered
where things had gone wrong. What god could beckon this sweet
little cherry blossom from her grove, and cast her into a world
so dark; so cold? Despite the wartmh of her mother's embrace,
she couldn't stop shuddering under the heavy silk blanket. The
last twenty minutes had tossed her into a fray of mass
conflicting confusion. When the voice had spilled from the sky,
warning them of the coming war, she could recognize him
instantly.
The monster of their ensuing demise was none other than Kayis;
the father she could never call her own, the man imprinted
within her very soul, in the greatest and worst ways possible.
And not ten minutes after this announcement, her mother had
found her in the garden; crying, trembling, sick with confusion
and infantile grief. Alivia had taken her from the garden and
into the safety of the council room, only for Charm to find her
father, telling her family of his betrayal, and offering them
his help with the ensuing battle. It was too much for her to
handle. To learn that her father would slaughter her entire
family in an hour's time, and then to see him standing before
her with that conflicted face of his. It was just too much...
and despite Alivia's soothing voice, or the warmth only Charm
could feel from her Banshee of a mother, she was simply too
scared and sick to feel comfort.
Her mother was trying, however, and Charm could not stand to see
her worried face. And so she sat quietly, eyes squeezing tight
to hide the fact that the vibrant silver and gold swirls were
already beginning to fog; she was already beginning to slip into
that state that made her feel nothing more than cold. Her
fingers trembled ever so slightly, as they made feeble attempts
to clutch her mother's dress. Try as she might to hide it, she
was still a scared child, unable to do anything to keep her
family or herself alive. Alivia's promise of safety did little
to phase her now, and it was only when she heard her father's
familiar voice, that a whimper escaped her lips. The way he said
her name... she wanted for so long to hear him say it, to hear
him call for her like she was his most valued charm. It tugged
at the strings of her heart, forcing her unwillingly to open her
eyes and look upon the man she had cried for all of her
short-lived life.
His ivory hair and golden eyes mirrored her in a way only Kota
could match. Those eyes softened her scared expression. She
wanted to hate those eyes, and the soul mirrored in their
depths. Charm wanted so badly to turn away, and allow the image
of a monster to replace his ghost; but she couldn't, and she
hated it, and she didn't even try. When his finger clasped hers,
and he spoke his promise, a pool of translucent tears rimmed her
cloudy eyes. This meeting was no better than the one they had a
few nights prior; it flooded her veins all the same with a
rising hope for family, and the crushing realization that this
could never be. Kota could not know Kayis was his father, and
Kayis hadn't made any comment as to how long he would stay this
time. It was useless to be worked up over such things now; she
blinked the tears away with little thought, burying her face
into the smooth confines of her mother's neck. The cool fingers
that laced through her own only added to the faint trembles
trickling through her muscles, but still, she clasped Kayis'
fingers in return. Charm wondered faintly where her brother was
in this whole mess, but couldn't bring herself to ask; despite
how much she wished for it, Kota could not belong to the picture
of 'family' that surrounded her now. His parents had perished
long ago, and he could only ever belong to her now; he could
only ever have a little sister anymore. With a sick, shaky sigh,
her lips parted just slightly, allowing a broken murmur to
distill her silence. "Mommy, daddy... I'm tired..."

Hearing Landon speak of Vermillion the true leader of the
Abyssals was more than enough to send a shiver of pure dread
down Vlad's spine and make him feel mortal once again. Casting
his glance down he exhaled a cool wave of air instead of fire
along his body chilling him to the core before the energy of his
heart once more heated his body causing steam to raise from his
flesh. Looking up again he looked at Magnus and Raysulon, Magnus
brought a smile and the urge for action, the other made his
smile fade into a feral snarl. He didn't know the second man but
the unnatural anger that filled him made him worry he would not
be able to follow his commands and with a bow of his head
towards Magnus he took wing and hovered in the air away from
them all. He would keep his brothers word regardless of how he
felt, but he would count every millisecond until he could
unleash the beast he always withheld in civilized company.

Lord Raysulon looked to hios grandaughter and gave a simple
reassuring smile. "Charm We won't let you get injured, I promise
upon my very life." He spoke up with the same smile as he waited
to hear what his brother would say. His eyes never leaving his
grandaughters face. She remind him exactly of what Alivia was
like at her age. The pain of losing his wife and Alivias mother
was always evident in Raysulons gold eyes. "Charm I wont let you
lose your mother like I let your mom lose hers." He spoke up as
he looked at the gold band he never removed from his finger even
after so many years since he lost her.

Alivia's lips curled into a snarl as she seen the assailant upon
castle grounds. There had to be some reason for Kayis to just
allow the man to enter, but then again, he was one of them. How
could she trust even the father of her child, Charm, when their
leader, was what seemed to be, a blood thirsty mongrel? Alivia's
best interest was to protect her child, regardless of any other
price. As Kayis spoke, Alivia was about to allow the man to hold
her daughter, that was until Landon, himself spoke. His words,
they seemed to hold some venom, some hatred, yet sincerity
throughout what she had perceived him. She allowed herself some
time to think as Magnus spoke, then her father showed up to
convene upon the conversations held throughout the chamber. This
was when Alivia, with Charm in hand, decided to speak up for
herself. "You offer me a place of solitude while I sit back and
know that my family, however misguided, are potentially
destroyed? You slaughter families, women, children, elderly, and
those that could not raise a hand to harm a fly, and I'm
supposed to trust you give my child and I safety just like that?
This.. Invasion, from what I have determined, seems highly
unwarranted. Just simple words? One would think that words be
brushed off, as they mean nothing. And if you are out to prove
something, why not with the one who spoke said words? I'm not a
war official, or even a soldier. I am just a mother who cares
for her daughter, politics isn't my thing. But, to answer you, I
have no reason to leave my only home behind. Not again. Not
after what happened to my last.." She concluded, glossy mist
like eyes staring up at the man. "I have no quarrel with anyone
here, I have no reason to fight, only to protect my child as a
mother."

Magnus' hands were tied. He had no desire for war, but then, to
hand over one of his brethren, was also an action he did not
care to take. "Who was it that boasted these words of threat to
your family?" He asked. Without such information, he could not
confirm or deny a thing. He then nodded to Ray. After all, he
would follow his lead, if need be...

Raysulon's gaze flicked to his brother and motioned to his
daughter before saying "Protect her, and my granddaughter tell i
return." he spoke up before looking to Landon. "Now shall we go
about discussing this matter in my office?" He spoke up as he
walked to the mahogany doors. Before he reached the doors he
simply toughed the door and it opened. Raysulon then walked
behind the marble desk and took a seat in the plush leather
chair.
