The moment when Yuro felt a hand grab his collar and push him
forward into the sand, he coughed and struggled against the
grip, hissing wildly. As she finally let him go, he coughed
more, whiping the sand off of his face. He turned around,
narrowing his eyes, staring at her with a furious look. "You
dumb bitch! I told you to fucking leave me alone!" He kicked
sand against her and in her face, growling. "You're stupid to
tell me all your tales. I don't care who you are or what you
want! Like I said, leave me the fuck alone! I want to live on my
own. Sure we mate, doesn't mean I have to. Other demons do that
stupid stuff for me. Then I am a kid, I could care less. Just
let me fucking be!" He yelled, the hellfire around him rising
around him, the heat melting the water behind him. He was now
getting frustrated and enraged with those people. "Just leave...
me... be.." He hissed, sitting back down on the sand, his
hellfire dying out. He would just ignore her for now. Maybe then
they would just leave him the fuck alone.

The moment the sand came up, so did the black smog like
aura. It flared and busted into black flames, turning the sand
bits into glass and letting it drop to the ground. Growling a
bit, she took another deep breath and watched him. At least he
didn't disappear this time. Crossing her knees, she slitted
crimson orbs and looked at him with a slight pitying gaze. "Do
you even recognize yourself anymore? Do you even know yourself,
Yuro? Your silly dreams of being sweet and kind, they're not so
silly you know. You want to be left alone, that's fine.. But
Yuro.. Think of the two people that have been there for you
through everything. You'd so easily abandon them? You're no
demon, you're a fucking coward. A demon has the balls to stay
where they're suppose to stay. A demon has the fucking sack to
do what's needed. Even a child of demon blood knows this. You're
no demon, you're fucking pathetic. Unlike those two, I wont
pussy foot around it. Who was there, despite being carved up to
look like a mother fucking jigsaw puzzle? Who suffered so much
agony and so much pain, but still stood beside you? Your mother
fucking mate. You want to know why your mind is still fighting
you on going completely batshit? Because your demonic instincts
flare up you moron."
Gathering herself to her feet, she stared down at him and was
half tempted to throw him into the water and just let him die so
they could move on with their lives. Yet she didn't and she just
crouched down beside him, not bothering to touch him or
anything. "If you want to be strong enough to do what ever the
fuck you want.. If you want to not only be with Kieri and not be
alone your entire existence.. If you want to know how to stop
bullshitting yourself and be semi-carefree... Then fucking buck
up and look at me kid, because I'm only here on a favor. I don't
have to teach you shit. I'm offering because I hate seeing a
potentially kick ass demon fucking withering away like a goddamn
fucking pair of wrinkly old man nads. I also hate seeing Kieri
upset, because guess what? She's one of the best demons we have.
She may not be full blooded demon, but her mixture doesn't fuck
up her intelligence or her lust to fuck some shit up. She just
maintains order because for fuck's sake, she's been holding
herself back due to you. So if you think I'm scary.. Or if you
think I'm bad.. Just wait until Kieri snaps. Then you'll see
some awesome shit. So tell me kid, do you want to fucking buck
up or do you want to stay a little shit for the rest of your
life?"

Yuro didn't even feel like listening anymore. Sure, the words
came through, but he didn't really think about it. All he wanted
was just to be left alone. Couldn't they just understand and
accept that? What if he wanted to break free from it all? Maybe
he was just scared for commitment and to lose it all after that.
He had lost too much already and he was just nineteen. He didn't
want that again. He was a coward, he knew that. Though he didn't
care the woman named Pein, said all of this. It didn't even
enrage him or bother him now. He just shrugged, ignoring her
further. Watching the waves, he still didn't pay any attention
to the woman as she sat beside him. He already knew all the
things she said. He didn't know who he was, or if he was a true
demon. Probably not. It was strange though, to know Kieri wasn't
a full demon. Did he know that already? Vaguely. Sighing once
more, he still watched the sea. No answer came from his mouth
and he just shrugged again. Maybe she would just go away like
this. His eyes were completely red and bleeding now, his mind
giving in to the darkness. "All I asked was to leave me alone.
Now do so. I won't listen to you." He said in a cold tone.
"Whether you hate it or not. I do not fear you, Kieri, Amaya or
death. Do whatever you want. I really don't care." He hissed.
After he had said that, he disappeared again with his shadows.
He stood in an appartment of someone and stared at the young
girl. Tilting his head, he noticed how the girl just stared at
him. Surprisingly she didn't scream. In stead, she walked
towards him, touching his cheek, smearing the blood a bit.
"Don't touch me." Yuro hissed in a demonic and dark tone. The
girl immediately tumbled backwards and ran into her bedroom.
Rolling his eyes, he left her appartment and walked along the
flat. He had no idea where to go, but he just wanted people to
stop coming after him. Gritting his teeth, he kicked down a
different door, entering. Seeing nothing in here, he smiled a
bit. He could make this his own. Sighing, he sat down by the
windowsill. Watching towards the sea, he could see Pein sitting
there. He wasn't far away, nor did he care if she was now
furious with him. Leaning his head against the wall, he closed
his eyes. "All just stupid people.." he mumbled, actually
falling asleep by the windowsill.

When he spoke again, she said nothing until she felt the
shift in the air that was similar to the one he used when he
disappeared before. "I don't want you to fear me, I want you to
be feared. And there's more to it. There's two sides to a coin,
Yuro.. You can't see both at the same time, but you can see one
at a time and see the difference. You'll learn soon enough what
that means." She wasn't going to waste her time with someone who
refused to listen at all. There was no point in trying to help
someone who didn't want it. What irked her was that he was such
a coward for a demon. Though she just dismissed it and went on
her way, vanishing in the familiar black smog. Amaya knew what
happened and simply shrugged, still trying to talk to Kieri
though there certainly was no response. She wondered what would
happen if Kieri had passed away again, though she knew that
wasn't the case here, she wondered what reaction it would pull
from Yuro. Would he care? Would he flinch? She believed he'd
care a lot, then probably slip further than he was already.
Shaking her head at the notion, she blinked a few times when she
came out of her dazed thoughts to see a less familiar face. It
startled her and she wasn't sure what to think when this
happened, not even as Kieri left in a simple flash of emerald
colored flames.
It wasn't long after Pein had left the scene that Kieri showed
up. Yet the changes in her were considerably vast and it would
be hard to even know it was Kieri at all. Seating herself on the
ground, she looked at the chilled water and frowned, not saying
anything at all. Her flesh had turned blue with hues of lighter
blues and shades of red and gold. Orbs that were once sapphire
had completely whitened out into a ghostly glowing white. Ears
had pointed considerably and two golden horns spiraled from her
cranium as black hair had turned white. One side of the coin was
showing, the other side had yet to be determined. It was clear
she wasn't holding herself back anymore. She'd let Yuro see her
like this, it didn't matter to her anymore. Instead of pestering
him or getting in his face, she'd simply stay close to him like
a shadow and make sure that nothing happened to him. She didn't
want him to have to go through anything anymore, and she didn't
want to be the cause of anything either. So she kept her
distance, simply sitting there and staring at the water. All
whilst her shadows decided to do other things without her
knowledge. They scrawled into the loft where Yuro slept and
seemed to scribe and script, making incoherent words before
jumbling back up and stationing themselves like little watch
dogs around the room, as if they were waiting for something.
Though that same one that had acted out before when Yuro had
awoken to lost memories, the one that seemed to childlike and
caring for him, simply moved across the room and seemed to flick
away the blood that ran from crimson orbs. As though it was
trying to tend to him in his sleep like a child caring for it's
sick parent. Soon enough, it placed it's self on the window to
watch both Kieri and Yuro, staying there in it's silent ways and
keeping it's 'eyes' on things.

Yuro's slumber was suddenly disturbed by loud noises at the
appartment. His red eyes shot open as he watched outside. He
slowly looked around the place, seeing those black shadows of
Kieri again. Sighing a bit, he rubbed his eyes. The loud noises
must have been in his head or dream. Still sitting on the
windowsil, he watched to the sea, seeing a blueish creature.
Frowning, he tilted his head a bit. The energy felt familiar.
Was it Kieri? Was it really her? His heart pounded in his chest
like crazy, as if he was losing it. He was doing harm to her,
and he knew he hated it, yet at the same time, he just wanted
her to leave him alone. Didn't he say it many times now, that he
wanted to be alone? Rolling his eyes, he watched the shadows of
Kieri at the wall. His own shadows lingered around him, making
him disappear. In a blink of an eye, he stood on the cold sand,
close to Kieri. His deep red eyes held no emotion, more as if
they were clouded. Was he the one who made her change like that?
"Kieri.." He mumbled at first. He just watched her sitting on
the ground, the changes so bad. He could barely even recognize
her. He probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for the feel of her
energy. Sighing a bit, he simply stayed standing behind her,
looking at the water. He had no clue what he could do or say to
make things better. To make up for his behaviour as of late.
Just staring at the water right now, Yuro's thoughts seemed to
go everywhere. Was it really for him to lose the one he truly
loved? Did he really truly love Kieri? Of course he did,
otherwise he wouldn't have asked her to marry him. Feeling the
frustration and hate towards himself rise, his eyes started
bleeding again as if he was crying. It just meant he was
emotionally and mentally crying. Slowly moving around her, he
kneeled down infront of her. Looking into her white glowing
eyes, he swallowed lightly. He could feel her energy somewhat
burning, and to be honest, he felt somewhat intimidated by her
new looks. But that didn't matter. He loved her, no matter what
she looked like. Also, she seemed to still love him, no matter
how he was or what he would look like. Looking down, he let out
a deep sigh before looking back up to her. "Kieri, I am sorry. I
hope you can forgive me my stupid selfish self. A child like
person. I know I am still like a child. I need to learn so much.
I can't always seem to stop my insanity and the want for blood
on my hands.." He started at first, swallowing once more,
looking up for a moment before looking back at her. "I would
understand if you'd want to leave, but after everything, you're
still here.. Like my shadow." He whispered.
He knew she was hurt by his actions, and he somewhat regretted
it, yet on the other hand he didn't. His insanity was still
close to the surface, but he could contain it for now. "Kieri, I
don't want to lose you. I really don't. I guess I am just
socially disturbed.. And don't know how to treat a loved one.
Love isn't my strongest point, which you probably have figured.
I just.." He put his hands together, making that same engagement
ring appear. "Will you.. give me another chance, and.. still
marry me? I promise, I'll try and be much better to you, than
what I have done to you now. I am truly sorry." He whispered,
seeming to turn into that shy boy he was when it was about love.
Looking down, he just could hope for the best. Though, he also
expected she'd yell at him or something, so he was prepared for
that as well. Biting his lip lightly, he closed his eyes,
feeling the blood stream down more down his cheeks. He couldn't
stop the shame, hatred and idiocy he felt towards himself. Maybe
it was better to let Kieri go and find a better Demon or lover.
Yet, he needed her. He knew he needed and loved her dearly. He
didn't want to lose her. Not again.

There was a sensation of flaring energies that quaked
and became utter turmoil. In the moments of Yuro's presence, the
same shadow that tended to his 'tears' had slithered around to
Kieri and had taken the shape of a small mouse while it perched
upon her shoulder. Those glowing orbs took in everything he did,
everything he said, while the shadow perched and nuzzled her to
try and get some response. It wasn't like she wasn't thinking
about what he said, or the fact that her heart was stammering in
her chest. Slowly, a white pearlesque colored liquid rolled from
the corners of her eyes. "Do you think you could get rid of me
so easily, Yuro? Even if you had started hating me, I'd still
protect you, be there for you. Demons aren't all nice and
dandy.. There are days where I just want to slaughter everything
in a hundred foot radius of me. I'm just more seasoned in
controlling it.." Sighing a bit, she pressed her face into her
knees and clenched her teeth.
"I just want to stay with you. That's all I want. I know it's
hard to look at me when I'm like this, but I'd rather you see
this than when I'm angry. When I'm angry.. It's much worse..
It's harder to take in and it's even more intimidating. I just..
That's why I've contained myself up till now. Only letting you
see a couple of views of me. I've never wanted you to see this,
or even worse, the worst side of me." She sniffled a bit,
choking back even more strange tears as she slowly raised her
head and used the back of her hand to try and wipe the tears
away. The raging energies that were swarming around was making
the shadow that perched on her shoulder nervous. It started to
shake slightly before squirming off her and scrawling closer to
Yuro. Looking to the shadow, Kieri sniffled and tilted her head.
"That shadow's.. Always poking at you.." She muttered, slowly
looking to him. It wasn't like she wasn't thinking about
everything.
Straightening up slightly, the gaze she carried shifting lightly
as the whites of her eyes seemed to melt into that familiar
crimson coloring. The odd coloring of her flesh fading into that
scarred pale white while her horns disappeared and everything
seemed to return to normal. Looking to his hands, she tilted her
head a bit and nibbled on her lower lip before she gently rested
her hand over his and looked to him. "I love you, Yuro.. Nothing
can ever change that. So of course I'll still marry you. No
matter what, I'll always be here. I'll never go away. Even if
you push me away one day and seriously want to leave me, I'll
still be your shadow to make sure you're safe.." She said
lightly, a gentle smile curling plush flesh.

Yuro just silently listened to Kieri, frowning a bit. He didn't
mean to show her that she indeed looked a bit intimidating.
Sighing lightly, he sat down on the cold sand, crossing his
arms. He had no clue what to say or what to think. He found it
kind of stupid of himself to hurt Kieri over and over like this.
"I.. I didn't think I could get rid of you that easily.. Nor do
I want to. I just figured, wouldn't it be best for you to be
with someone else? Since I tend to hurt you so often.." He
mumbled lightly. Looking down, he felt quite ashamed and just
let out another sigh. "I really don't know what I can say or do
to make this better. I'm glad you still love me though." He
whispered, closing his red eyes. His shoulders started to hang
as he kept thinking on the matter. Slowly he looked back up at
her, watching her change to the albino form. Tilting his head
lightly, he wondered why Kieri had so many forms of herself.
Yuro had just one, and one he barely showed. Kieri knew what it
looked like, though he still hated to have to change to that. So
he didn't. Simple as that. Seeing her tears made him cringe just
lightly. He hated to see her cry, and especially because it was
his fault.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to really.. like.. Upset you
this badly." He whispered, slowly taking her hands and pulling
her to him. Cradling her in his arms, he just closed his eyes,
resting his head lightly on hers. He placed a soft kiss on her
forehead. "I really do love you.." He whispered quietly, keeping
her close to him. He just listened to the waves crashing closer
on the sand, opening his eyes again. "You deserve a lot better,
you know?" He spoke in a quiet tone. Starting to feel the cold
water creep on his jeans, he shivered lightly. He didn't want to
move though. Just keeping her close to him, he closed his eyes
again. As the wave crashed over his body, he bend over Kieri to
keep her sheltered from the water and cold. "It's.. getting
quite cold.." He mumbled, his body heat disappearing from the
water. His body became colder, his skin pale. "Though, that
doesn't matter. You're here with me.. Which makes me happy." He
said with a slight smile. He had no idea how long it had been
since he ate or really slept enough. But he could feel his body
shutting down due to the cold and weakened state of no energy or
food. "We probably, need to get away from here though, before
another wave comes.." He whispered still, his body leaning more
against hers. "Thank you." He whispered in her ear, his body
weight against her getting heavier, seeming as if he was close
to fainting.

As Kieri felt herself being pulled into him, she just
let it happen. She wanted to be close to him, wanted to hold him
and take care of him. White locks tangled over her face, feeling
the ocean spray of the water. Being all too aware of what the
cold did to Yuro, even if he could stave it off for a little
while. In that instant, shadows pulled up in an shield of sorts
to keep the waves from meeting with Yuro anymore. She could feel
him leaning against her more and her arms snaked around him.
"There's no one better than you, Yuro. I don't want anyone
else.. I don't need anyone else. You don't hurt me as often as
you think, Yuro..." Pulling him a bit closer, Kieri didn't want
him to get any worse so she pulled the shadows around them to
take them else where. The only place she could really think of
was the house she woke up in. It was the closest and she didn't
want to take him too far away because of the lack of heat so
far. The fall and winter were always tough times for demons who
laid claim to flames. Making sure that they didn't pull through
the shadows in an area that would make it hard to get him in
bed, she slowly stood up, bringing him up with her. Giving him a
gentle push onto the bed, she straightened up and smiled gently.
Her fingers tenderly playing through his hair as she sat down
beside him on the bed. "You need to take better care of
yourself. What is it you'd like to eat? I'll fix it for when you
get up." Kieri felt the need to busy herself, she wanted to do
something for him to make up for getting so upset. It wasn't
like her to actually let herself slip up emotionally like that
and she really just wanted to do everything she could for him.
Leaning down, she planted a gentle kiss on the corner of his
lips. "Just leave it to me.. I love you Yuro, and there's
nothing that can ever keep me from taking care of you. So
please, relax and just let me take care of you."

As she moved them somewhere inside, he could feel the warmth
surround his body again. His eyes slowly closed as she pushed
him gently on the bed. Laying on the bed, he just sighed a bit.
He hated to admit it, but the lack of energy made him not even
able to stand up anymore. In defeat, he kept laying on the bed.
His eyes opened again and watched Kieri move around. He had
heard what all she had said, but wasn't the man supposed to do
all sorts of things and such? "Kieri, shouldn't I be taking care
of you though?" He said in a calm tone. Slowly, his eyes
focussed on the ceiling, frowning a bit. "Food.. It doesn't
really matter what it is, as long as it's good. Which, whatever
you cook, is good. So you can decide." He said with a slight
smile. Just laying on his back, his eyes slipped closed again.
He couldn't believe he was this weak right now. It just wasn't
right. "You should rest too, though." He said slowly, nodding a
bit. Her words seemed to go through his mind all the time now.
He knew he had to at least take better care of himself. He just
seemed to overestimate himself. Especially with handling the
cold. Which he totally couldn't. Sighing a bit, he nodded, a
slight smile over his lips. "I love you too, Kieri. Thank you..
I could really use some food. Like.. Meat would be good?" He
said in a soft voice now, his eyes staying closed. His body
seemed to be healing by itself already, his hellfire heating up
again, a slight heat around his body as well. It wasn't near
enough yet though.

Kieri looked to him as she spoke, she could see his
paleness in comparison to how he normally was. The cold really
did a toll on him. Nibbling on her lower lip, she thought to
herself before she allowed her shadows to meld with the bed
beneath him, like a nonexistent protection against her own
flames. The oddly colored little things began to spring up,
providing warmth around him as she watched him. Her lips
contorting in a gentle frown. "No, Yuro... You shouldn't just be
taking care of me, it's an equal love isn't it? I take care of
you when you need it.. If I need it, I know you'd take care of
me." A smile curved plush flesh as she leaned down and planted a
light kiss on his lips. "I'll rest when I know you're okay, I'm
fine right now." Straightening up, she nodded and smiled widely.
"Just leave it to me. You rest up, okay love? I'll be right
back." Her eyes shifted to the shadow that had been perched on
her shoulder previously. It was like the little fellow was a
puppy just thriving with love and attention for it's owners. It
made her giggle a bit before she smiled to Yuro and left the
room. She was happy she could take care of him, just being with
him made her happy.
She couldn't deny that she was overly protective of him, there
was no doubt in that. Kieri had lived so long and through so
much, she never wanted Yuro to go through anything similar.
Finding her way to the kitchen, she wasn't familiar with this
place so she had to look around for a minute before finding what
she needed. Her mind was wrapped around all sorts of things.
Particularly, when the time would change and shift her back to
how she use to look before she died. Though she didn't mind how
she looked now, it wasn't something she preferred because her
scars stood out more. With her slightly tanned skin of her old
looks, she didn't have to feel so self conscious, they weren't
as noticeable until she wore clothes that showed more of her
skin. Her mind was trailing around different topics while she
silently cooked. Then it fell upon one topic in particular. One
day, she'd probably slip up and get angry and Yuro would end up
seeing that frightening form of her's. It wasn't hard to explain
why she had so many forms. The albino one was because of her
having to be brought back, like a consequence of sorts. A
reminder as to her being so lucky to have Amaya. Her usual one,
she had always looked like that. Then her two literal demon
forms. The only reason she had two was because she was a mixed
breed. So, it kind of laid claim to her moods.
