Yuro started shaking more as she held him in her lap, closing
his eyes. His hands clenched into fists as he opened his eyes
again. It hurt him so badly, his heart out of control. He felt
his own heart and mind slipping from him, his body weakening so
much more. "Kieri... I.. didn't want to leave.. But it seems,
faith is telling me.. to leave.." He whispered, his hand holding
one of hers. "I... can't keep surviving.. all the time.." He
whispered and looked at the sky still, his look saddening, yet
slowly becoming emotionless. He felt his heart tightening much
more, his back arching up as he groaned in pain, tensing up
completely. His heart beats rapidly now, heat rising from his
body, his shadows shaking wildly around him, slowly shrinking
and dying out. The shadows seemed to be breaking like glass, the
fires dying out as well. His eyes closed again and his body
slowly sunk back into Kieri's lap, sighing lightly. "So this is
it.. Unless.." He mumbled, letting out a deep breath. His
breathing slowed as well. His eyes shot open again. He knew to
survive, he could change his attitude, but that meant losing
Kieri. He'd lose her either way. He knew so. "Kieri.. I.. might
still be here, but.. the old me. The me who met Amaya for the
first time. The one.. who worked.. for Hades. Losing my
memories.." He whispered and shook his head. "I'm so sorry.." He
said as his body slowly slowed down, his mind blacking out. His
memories were fading, as was his heart beat. His skin was
completely pale now, the blood still running down his eyes.

Kieri listened to what he was saying and her hand
clutched his tightly. "No no no no.. You can't go, Yuro.. You
can't.. I..." Tears became harsher as she watched him convulse,
her hand clutching his tightly as she held him. "I love you so
much... Please.. Please don't leave me.." When all fell still
and silent, her eyes widened and she shook her head. Her hands
moving to his shoulders as she gave him a shake. "No no.. Come
on Yuro.. Come on.. You can't.. You can't go. You're not allowed
to die. Do you hear me!? You're not allowed to!" She yelled, her
chest twisting in pain once more. How many times had this
happened? When she found him in the woods the first time, she
had nearly collapsed and right now, she was breaking down as if
there were going to be no tomorrow. Her arms cradled him closer
to him as she buried her face into his chest and continued to
sob heavily. "It isn't fair.. You just.. You just came back..
Don't.. " She whimpered, her face buried into his neck as she
nuzzled it. It wasn't fair that he was leaving her, it just
wasn't fair. Slowly though, she began to slip from
consciousness, her body shaking as she held him until she
finally failed to remain in reality. Her mind too fragile as it
was to handle losing him again. Her grip loosened on him but she
continued to sob even in her unconscious state as she remained
curled around him.

He had no idea how many minutes it had been, but he didn't
remember much of it. His eyes shot open again, a deep red with
black veins through them. He shook as his body heated up again,
seeing life through the eyes of when he was sixteen years old.
Looking down, he saw a girl on his body, seeing her sob. He
frowned, wondering what was going on. Slowly sitting up, he
simply laid her next to him, rubbing his eyes. It felt as if he
had been sleeping for so long now, it was strange. Looking
around, he didn't remember anything at all. "How strange. How
the hell did I get here." He mumbled, shrugging. He had no
memories left whatsoever, from anyone he met back then. Getting
up, he picked the girl up, grinning. He had no idea why he took
the girl, but it was okay. He couldn't just leave her here.
Walking to the beach, he laid her down in the sand and stared
over the sea with a grin. His shadows snapped at the sea, the
waves coming up, making it look like rain, making them both wet.
He laughed, feeling really free. Though, his body seemed to
bring time back upon him, possible making him a child again. But
for now, he was back at the blood thirsty, unreasonable and
insane demon again. Just a boy. Chuckling, he saw a couple
passing by, killing them instantly. Chuckling once more, he took
the blood, licking it, taking their souls. His eyes showed pure
evil, like a whole different person.

Shifting, she could feel herself being moved but she
couldn't wake back up. Even as she was picked up, she just
limply rested in his arms. Yet as she found her frame soaked by
water, she slowly came to. Though when those albino lashes moved
to reveal the sudden sapphire orbs, something changed entirely.
The sun shook and revealed the moon, the day turning into night
as shadows seemed to pull the stars out. White locks began to be
drenched in black and she slowly opened her eyes a bit more. Who
was holding her? Why was she wet? Wasn't she just crying a
second ago? Her eyes felt tired and worn from the relentless
sobbing. Yet when blurred vision met the face of a very much
alive Yuro, she shakily reached her hand up and her fingertips
brushed along his lips. "Y-yuro...? I..I'm g-glad you're
o-okay..." She couldn't take it, feeling so absolutely drained
from shifting the axis of things to turn the day to the night.
Her fingers slipping from his lips to fall back to her waist as
her body went lax once more. She was flushed, looking as though
she had a fever as her flesh heated up severely. Kieri hadn't
realized that he had reverted back to his older ways in her
brief time of consciousness. She would when she woke up again.
That is, if she woke up again if he decided not to kill her. Yet
what had stopped him from doing so before? Why was he holding
her? She didn't know right away, pieces missing from the puzzle.

As he felt her fingers on his lips, he stared at her. Why was
she touching his lips? And how did she know his name? He had
never seen her, did he? But when she shifted to different looks,
he chuckled and shook his head. "Another strange demon. How
lucky am I." He said and shook his head. Shrugging it off, he
watched her fall back asleep and sighed. Why didn't he kill her
yet? Because she was a demon as well? He sighed and looked at
the girl, smirking lightly. "Silly girl. I don't know what you
mean, but you must be crazy." He said with a chuckle and shook
his head. Walking along the beach, he looked at the stars, not
remembering much or what he needed to do. Though, he felt like
he couldn't just leave her here. "Fine.." He mumbled and picked
her up again, disappearing with his shadows. He appeared in his
own little cabin, that he did remember was there. Placing her
down on a bed, he sat down in a small room, pretty much
scribbling on paper, drawing. He loved to draw, the insanity
trying to escape, but he felt too tired to do anything with it.
Drawing people and pain, he sighed and shook his head a bit.
"Those damned people.." he mumbled and hit the table.

His words didn't fall upon deaf ears, only idle ones.
She'd think upon it later, right now she was just so tired. Why
was she so tired? She didn't really know. Yet when she felt the
comfort of a bed beneath her, her shadows began to react. As
though they had been here before, like they were comfortable
about showing themselves to Yuro. The green and blue hellfire
mixing and dancing upon the shadows as they harmlessly licked at
Yuro's hands, soon traveling to do the same to his cheeks. Like
they were greeting an old friend from recent times. Yet she
wasn't intentionally doing anything, she wasn't even really
controlling them at all, simply letting them do what they
wanted. One even coiled and shifted on his shoulder to appear
like a blackened rabbit with blazing fire orbs. It looked as
though it was watching him draw, ears twitching when he spoke of
people. The shadow creature nuzzled against his neck as if to
comfort him as she turned on her side. Raven locks twisted to
hide her face, her frame coiling slightly to be more comfortable
as she slept. Would he remember her? Or would she have to try to
do this all over again only to either have him in her arms once
more or be left to break in silence.

Feeling the sudden touch of shadows, he looked at them confused.
She had the same abilities as he did and that confused him more.
He smiled though. A kind of saddened smile, as if he was just
lonely. Seeing the rabbit now as he was drawing, he smiled
lightly. Petting it lightly, Yuro seemed real calm and kind
right now. He was indeed just lonely, and with shadows he was
comfortable. He looked back at the girl and frowned lightly,
knowing they came from her, but it seemed to be subconsciously.
He looked back at his paper, biting his lip roughly, blackened
blood running down his lip. "People.. I hate them so much.
Always trying to kill what's different. I.. I need to protect a
fellow demon." He whispered, breaking his pencil by anger. "I
don't know what to do! Keep killing them is just.. not going to
help damnit!" He shouted, breaking through the table harshly,
falling down with it, sobbing lightly. He was just so frustrated
and angry, that he just couldn't think of anything good.

The shadows watched and watched, the way he reacted to
them and the way he suddenly broke down. They gently began to
twine around him, as if hugging him. Yet soon enough, the rabbit
shifted into another line of shadow as it gently tugged upon his
hand and pulled it into her's. Subconsciously, she tightened her
hand around his as the shadow wrapped around the both of them,
as if trying to tell him something. Knowing that the point
wouldn't get across all too well, the other shadows pitched in
and began to scribe across the wall. They etched words and it
slowly became legible. The girl you picked up, the fellow demon,
you know her. Was the first line, and then it began to shift to
another below it. She's been with you for years, as have we,
always calling out to you to come back to her. They stopped
their squirming for a moment, one of them coiling around Kieri
to comfort her as she gave a small smile in her sleep. You don't
remember, but we do, as does she. She's always been trying her
hardest to keep you safe. The written words waited a minute
before disappearing to scribe more sentences.
You don't remember her, but that's alright, she doesn't mind, as
long as she's close to you she doesn't care. The shadow that
coiled around her left her and scrawled to the wall. Even if you
never remember, she wants to stay close to you, even if she has
to give her own heart up to do so. It was as though those
shadows knew her better than anyone else. They did. Though as
she began to stir, they receded slightly until she settled again
and curled up tighter. She loves you very much and you've saved
her from a lot of things. They became more fluent with their
words as they continued to scribe. She has a very contagious
smile, don't be afraid of catching it. Don't be afraid of
letting her care for you. Just remember that she's someone who
knows a lot about you, so she'll always be watching out for the
things you fear most. Always fighting to keep you safe as you've
done for her. Even if you never remember, she'll just continue
to reintroduce herself to you every time you forget. As will we.
They shrank back as she started to shift once more, her legs
uncoiling as sapphire orbs peeked through ebony lashes and
looked to him. Slowly, she pushed herself up and stared at the
bed beneath her. That's right, he had forgotten. She had no idea
the shadows had told him so much, so she wasn't aware that he
knew that he had known her. Choking back her unsettled tears,
she pushed through them and sat up, looking to the table that he
had broken for a second before she looked at him. Those raven
strands curtained her face as she tilted her head a bit and then
cast her gaze downwards. "Sorry for troubling you. You could
have just left me there, but you didn't, thanks.." She
whispered, it was so much harder than she thought it would be,
pretending as though he didn't know her. It was harder for the
ones who remembered than the ones who forgot. Yet she didn't
mind, a small smile curving plush flesh as she looked back up to
him. "Sorry.. I hope they didn't bother you..." She whispered,
looking to the shadow that had once been the rabbit twining
around his hand like a child clinging to a parent.

Yuro simply stared at Kieri and her shadows, feeling them go
around him. He simply looked down and followed the shadows of
hers taking his hand. As he felt her soft hand in his, he
frowned lightly and looked back up at Kieri. It felt like he
knew her indeed, but he simply couldn't place a finger on it.
Strangely, he kept his hand around hers and sighed a bit.
Looking at the wall now, he read all the sentences they said. It
confused him greatly, yet somehow didn't surprise him at all. He
shook his head and smiled lightly, letting tears go down.
"Then.. why don't I remember anything if she's been with me for
years. Why can't I remember someone, who seems so important to
me. Why can't I?!" He felt frustrated with himself, letting go
of her hand and hit the wall, seeing the shadows still there.
His own lashed out around him angry like, as if he couldn't
control them so well anymore. The pitch black serpent like
shadows kept dancing around now, slowly calming down as did he.
Sighing again he just looked at the wall with all the sentences
they spoke. She would always be around, and give up her heart
for him. That just didn't make sense to him, but he felt
sympathy for her. Which was rare. He got up and rolled his eyes
a bit. "As if anyone would ever be that stupid to love a demon
like me." He said harshly, turning his back to her and the
shadows. He walked away, back to his little room and closed the
door, locking it.
As he sat there, he looked at the broken down table and just sat
down on the chair. Looking at the ground he started thinking.
Closing his eyes, he could just remember how many people he had
killed already. This wasn't going to make him back down was it?
Why would he stop taking revenge on the human race just because
some girl loves him? He clenched his fists, feeling the insanity
banging at the walls of his mind. "Just shut up!" He suddenly
shouted to himself, the shadows wildly smashing around, breaking
the chair as well. He fell down and just sighed, laying there,
feeling a smack of his shadows against his own cheek. It seemed
his shadows hadn't forgotten anything, and were much stronger
than Yuro remembered, which lead to them being out of control.
They seemed to want to take over control of his body, wanting to
mass murder the whole human race. Yuro slowly got up, staring at
his own shadows confused. They simply slammed him against the
wall, holding him there, his feet even from the wall. "You
foolish boy.." Was all his shadows wrote on the wall. He stared
at it, pretty much trying to control his shadows. He coughed as
they held him by his neck against the wall, squirming. "I'm your
master. You are to obey me!" Yuro shouted, the shadows dancing
around wildly, going around him and disappearing into him again.
Yuro fell to the ground, coughing and sighing. "What's just
going on." he mumbled, looking at the locked door, wondering if
he missed a lot of memories.

In the instant she heard the banging around, her eyes
shot wide and she jumped from the bed. Her shadows prying the
door open as she rushed in. "Yuro!" She frowned, seeing the
shadows behaving so cruelly to him. Turning a glare to him, she
stuck her finger out at them like a mother would at a child in
trouble. "You will calm yourselves down right this instant or
else I'm going to punish you till you can't scrawl a single
word, do you understand me?!" She said firmly, moving to Yuro
and moving her hands to his shoulders. Lifting him up, she
looked at his neck and placed her fingers to it. "I'm sorry..
Shadows can be troublesome when they're upset.. Are you okay
Yuro?" She asked lightly. Her own shadows began to waver and
pull at the others as if trying to get them to behave
themselves, telling them that it was alright that he didn't
remember. Sighing heavily, she got to her feet and held her hand
out to him, smiling still. "Would you like some help up?" She
said gently, that gentle expression of her's telling a story
long forgotten as did the scars that etched her body. It looked
as though she had been torn apart little by little, a patch of
flesh here and there.
They were still there, the scars from Luicion. Yet she didn't
say anything else, that smile still pulling plush flesh as she
looked down at him. If he didn't remember her, that was alright.
She wouldn't push him to remember either, she would simply
reintroduce herself again and again no matter how many times he
forgot her. "I'm Kieri.. Thanks for not leaving me on the ground
back there. I hope I didn't cause you any troubles.." It hurt,
the pain that throbbed in her chest as she looked down at the
man she loved, the one who couldn't remember her. Yet it
wouldn't alter her expression of kindness and gentle nature, she
wouldn't let it. She was clueless as to what her shadows had
told him, not knowing that they had told him who she was and
everything else.
