This was thrilling. Her heartbeat matched Serenity’s and the
world felt so nice and warm again. Mary felt stronger, younger,
human, alive. Each gulp of Serenity’s life was like if she were
rejuvenating and the young girl’s life was being passed on to
her. Like if Mary had the right of sucking in this girl’s youth
since Serenity had so much of it, couldn’t she share? Even
Mary’s face looked better now! She had a natural rosy blush that
was too perfect to come from a brush and colored powder and her
curls got a perfect little shine to them, even looked freshly
curled. The vampire’s face was fuller and her tanned
Mediterranean color had returned. Mary looked even better that
what she looked 100 years ago while she was still innocently
running around the fields in Sicily, without a care in the
       world.
This immoral act was what the most sacred and important act that
a vampire could do with or too anyone. It was what they lived
for and the only thing that made them vulnerable. Blood. Sex was
as insignificant as a dead ant besides the act of feeding. Love
didn’t even exist whenever a drop of ruby red life came in touch
with their dry tongues, and family was just a word when the warm
liquid quenched their thirst so every promise that Mary was
going to keep for Serenity was invalid right now. She just
       wanted the girl’s blood.
The old woman’s pupils were dilated and there was nothing she
could really see but white strobes of light that matched
Serenity’s heartbeat. There was nothing else around Mary aside
from a body and blood, the owner of the precious life didn’t
have a face or a name. Not even her brain could function
properly or could she feel pain much less any signs of struggles
from the poor young goddess. Poor Serenity fell like a mouse’s
tail on a trap without Mary attempt for hunting her. Serenity
right now felt like one of those juice drinks that came in a
pouch; those that you have to stick a straw in and squeeze in
order to drink from them? Yeah, that. Something that Mary just
had to squeeze and drink until it was over; until the flashing
and drumming dimmed down enough for Mary to vaguely hear her
name being called. “Mary. Mary! Stop. Stooopp...." It yelled and
she couldn’t tell who it was, but she sounded really bad. Poor
thing should try to bite someone so she would feel better! “wait
a minute….” He vampire started to slowly realize what she was
actually doing… She was killing Serenity Nagase.
“Stoop…” She heard once more and the girl started to go limp in
her arms. How could she stop this?! How could she not kill this
girl if there was no way of controlling the muscles of her jaw
that just pulled some more liquid into her mouth? “Stop this.
You’ve stopped before, you can stop now. Slowly, loosen your
grip and open your mouth wide. Do it, you can do it… do it…” Her
own voice rang on her ears as her pupils started to contract
again, announcing that she was regaining control of her own
body. Serenity’s heartbeat was dimming rapidly and Mary had less
than a few seconds to stop this or else she would be holding a
corpse by the time her body decided to stop. So, first she took
a deep breath through her nostrils and just like that snapped
her jaw open. Her fangs were still extended but were finally way
from Serenity’s skin, and like if Serenity had herself shoved
the old vampire away, Mary fell down to her knees. She was a
mess, with some glowing white liquid smeared all over her face
and dripping down her mouth and chin only to puddle in between
her fuller breasts. Mary was back to reality and suddenly didn’t
feel so hot anymore. Everything was fuzzy and her head was
churning just like her roaring stomach. What had she done… why
had she done it… Why Serenity of all people?
       [glow=maroon,2,300]“Solemio….”[/glow] She whispered lowly.

Serenity pushed and pushed against Mary, but to no avail. The
grip only gotten tighter, as if Mary was trying to extract every
bit of Serenity's life fuel as if she was squeezing a toothpaste
tube and trying to get down to the last drop. That tactic was
working, because Serenity was fading fast. Even the dim lights
around them was fading and flickering as if the power was being
stolen from them. Serenity's flesh began to dim and become
monochromatic. Her struggles to slowly weaken, even the grip
upon Mary's arms loosened and Serenity's arms fell to the side,
hanging limply as if she was sleeping and Mary was simply moving
the girl to another location. Serenity's once vibrant eyes
dimmed as if the inner light of the woman was suddenly snuffed
out, closing soon afterward and rolling into the back of her
head. Even though Serenity was a goddess, she was still part
human and thus, couldn't take more than a usual human.
Serenity's struggling started to slowly cease, getting weaker
and weaker until the woman was dead weight within Mary's arms.
The darkness slowly crowding Serenity, as she and the land
around her fell into nothingness; silence.
Once she was released, Serenity fell onto the ground with limp
and with an audible thud; lifeless. Small spurts of glistening
blood ejected from the holes in Serenity's neck, polling beside
her lifeless body. The blood, itself, even started to fade in
luminescence as Serenity took what seemed to be her last
breaths. She struggled to breath, struggled to remain alive.
But, the goddess' body wasn't moving, only the light elevation
of chest with each very shallow breath she took. The world
around them started to dim and fade, losing all color before the
light around them was soon extinguished. [glow=red,2,300]"Ma-ar.
.."[/glow] Serenity tried her best to utter the name of the
woman whom she trusted, whom she felt most secure with and
protected by. The person who would never leave her or betray
her... Before her last breath rushed heavily from her mouth...
Darkness caressed her flesh, made intimate love with the lands
around them and all of Edenia fell in silence and darkness.

No.No.No. This couldn’t be happening right now, Serenity was
strong and she was a Goddess. There was no way this could be
       happening…
Mary’s eyes turned a very bright red, so bright that they seemed
to glow like if they had been lit by burning flames. Her
timeless face was just focused on the nothingness that
surrounded them, the unfamiliar silence that was anything but
       characteristic to the lively island.[glow=maroon,2,300]”
I---I---…”[/glow] She just whispered to herself, being the only
living thing that seemed to make a sound tonight. The cascade
was so close, yet so quiet… everything was lifeless, dead as the
electrifying blonde that had just a few minutes ago had been
cradled in her maternal arms. A grip that turned into a lovers
hold and ended in a choke of death. Red tears pooled in the
oldest woman’s eyes. She had done it again. Ruined another life
because of her own selfishness. She shouldn’t have returned to
Serenity’s life. Sure the girl had been broken hearted and
upset, but that was normal in a young girl’s life. It wasn’t
nearly enough of a reason for the girl to find death in.
Serenity was supposed to do what she was born for; to lead an
island, find love, grow, die old and go to wherever all the
people who were good and perfect went. If Mary wouldn’t had came
along Serenity would had gotten over the heartbreak and moved on
to the next one like she sure as hell deserved to. But now she
was just a corpse. Bones and flesh that were just dropped there
       in the grass.[glow=maroon,2,300]”Serenity…”[/glow] She whispered
lowly and very, very slowly inched her way towards the girl
until her thighs were touching the girl’s body, which felt
unnaturally cold. Not the Serenity she learned to watch and
       enjoy. Just, dead.
[glow=maroon,2,300]“y-You will get better… Sí? Y-You will be
perfetta again… I’ll just take you h-home an---“[/glow] But it
was too much. She knew Serenity wouldn’t get better and that she
couldn’t even hear how sorry Mary was about all of this. She
wished the girl would had at least been there to get a short
explanation… she couldn’t stop, she tried with all her will, but
she couldn’t stop…. the woman pressed her short little hands to
her own face and sobbed uncontrollably, tears of pink blood that
puddle against her hand and slipped through her fingertips,
falling over the girl’s overly pale skin. What would she do,
burry the child and return to her old life of suckiness? No one
would ever know… Right? She could act like if Serenity never
existed. Mary had done it more than once, she could surely do it
again… But she had made the girl a promise that she was going to
keep, forever.[glow=maroon,2,300]” I’m not going to leave you
here, alone. I’ll stay with you Solemio…”[/glow] She wept out
clearly though choking with her own words.
[glow=maroon,2,300]“I’ll be to your side, till you turn to
       polveri…”[/glow]
So that was what Mary did. Using Serenity’s own life to compose
herself enough to slip her hands under the girl’s body and lift
her gently. Mary made sure the girl’s head was over her own wet
chest so that incase Serenity woke up by some miracle, she could
be comfortable. Also made sure to cradle Serenity so that the
girl’s body could somewhat stay warm with the new warmness of
Mary’s skin that ironically, had been the cause of this girl’s
death. Like this she made her way to the palace. Walking down
the lonely and dark roads numb and still holding on to the only
strings of hope that she had. Until Serenity turned into dust,
       there was still hope.
She didn’t want to think of what had happened on her way to the
virginal looking room of Serenity. Didn’t want to remember that
it was a corpse what she was tucking between the white sheets,
making sure to put Serenity’s arms out gently to pinch the
comforter and keep it from slipping off her little frame. That
what she then laid besides and wrapped an arm around wasen’t
someone anymore, now it was something that would rot and
disappear. But Mary was there and planed on seeing the girl’s
body decompose and turn into dirt. Her red eyes closed and
gently she started singing to the girl the sweet, sweet melody
that she had once dedicated to her [glow=maroon,2,300]“ ‘O sole
o sole mio, sta nfronte a te, sta nfronte a te…. Quanno fa

Azaria let her eyes look into the darkness. It was the perfect
time...She didn't know where she was going, but then, she was
going to continue anyways. Having landed earlier this evening,
she was curious of what was here. And the night was the perfect
time to see who and what was here. She stopped at the beginning
of the forest, holding up her hands as she touched the silkiness
of her dark hair. Slowly, she braided it, folding it over to
make sure that it went all the way down her back. Once she was
done, she made sure that her weapons were always with her. She
tightened up the straps of her armor, which covered the basics,
and continued moving. Her skin glowed with the bright moon
shining above her, catching the glimpse of her skin underneath
the canopy. Her emerald eyes looked ahead, noticing that her
Half-Vampire blood gave her strength with her vision in the
night time. She could see the shapes of what was in front of
her. Her sensitive hearing was greatly enforced, as it always
has been, even when she was younger.
The wind blew lazily through the forest, barely touching the
forest floor as she walked through the dense amount of trees.
Her fingers touched onto the trees, seeing trails in the dirt,
knowing that someone was here. She bent down, feeling the dirt
was soft and turned up. There was souls running through here.
For a few moments, there was complete darkness before light
began to shine brightly from a distance. She could see the
shimmering diamond type light through the trees before it
flickered to a halt. She stood up from where she stood,
listening closely to anything that would be coming near her.
After a few moments of hesitation, she moved toward a sturdy
tropical tree and began her climb up to the top where she could
see the light still flickering before stopping. Maybe there was
a search signal. Maybe they knew that she was here. Her eyes
widened a little bit before she made her way down. She wanted to
see what was up there. Perhaps it would be something that would
give her a benefit, but then she hesitated. She disliked
populated places. And she began to wonder if the place was
populated. "There's no way of telling if you do not go and
check." She whispered to herself as she walked through the
trunks again, barely missing some very dense moss upon the rocks
       that she began to climb.
Her muscles flexed as she continued up the rocks then on her way
down as she noticed that this was going to be a hilly hike.
Shrugging her shoulders, already feeling the sweat build up on
her skin, she walked forward, coming across a river that ran
through the island. She smiled for a moment, coming to a stop to
run her fingers through it, just to wash off some of the dirt.
Looking around her, seeing with the help of the water and her
half-Vampire blood, she could see the many fruitful plants. It
was certainly beautiful around her. She could smell the
sweetness of the fruit as well as the greens of the plants that
surround it all. The water bubbled underneath her touch as she
lifted her self up after washing the cool water over her face.
Above her, she could see another sparkling light come across the
sky. This time, it was something else that she did not know of.
Dragons? Her eyes brightened a little. She would fit in
well...Ryder would certainly fit in as well. A smile planted
itself on her face as she lifted the sword from it's hilt. She
ran her fingers over the sword's etching, seeing her friend
resting there, with it's single emerald eye in the middle of the
       blade. Certainly beautiful.
Now, she just needed to see what the bright light was coming
       from.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The first day with Serenity‘s corpse was wasted crying and
dismissing the loyal servants that came to bring news, food or
important documents to the deceased girl. Mary simply ordered
them to slide them through the door because Serenity wasn’t
feeling well. Now, next day the older woman got impatient. She
couldn’t just sit around and watch the pale looking girl rot to
pieces… She had to think of something, to find some way to at
least give the girl a decent burial. Bringing Serenity back was
not an option since she didn’t know of anyone or didn’t have any
sort of powers that would make this happen. The only thing left
was to wait and entertain herself looking around the room,
getting to know this girl like she was intending to before her
vampire instincts got the best out of her.
Mary spent her time changing the girl like if she were a doll.
Panting her nails, doing her hair, adding a little bit of color
to Serenity’s always rosy cheeks and the same with the girl’s
natural peachy lips. With delicacy she spoke and caressed
Serenity as if she were only sleeping and would wake up at any
minute. The only problem was the pestering servants that started
to knock on their door frequently. She could even see how they
tried to walk around the crystal doors to get a view of what was
happening inside. But they were always closed and she could tell
people started to suspect. So it was time to develop a plan to
make them stop bothering them until Serenity was decomposed
enough to fit into a garbage bag without looking like... well, a
corpse? The next logical thing would be to make Serenity say
that she didn’t want to be bothered and that was what Mary was
going to do. The old woman rummaged through Serenity’s drawers
looking for something that had Serenity’s handwriting. It could
have been a diary, a letter anything that had been written by
Serenity’s own little hands. Mary would put a paper over it and
skillfully trace over the letters like the perfect con artist
that she had learnt to be. In that process she found an old
journal with very delicate yellow pages and a worn-out leather
cover. ”This is definitely too old to be written by you Solemio.
So let’s keep o—ah, here we go…” And just like that Serenity
–dead Serenity- , asked her servants to not bother her until
further notice. That she was going through a transformation and
Mary would be the one taking absolute care of her; Worked like a
charm because after that letter was written, the halls were as
empty and cold as Serenity’s corpse.
That time was enough for Mary to nose around some more and once
she was done with checking every nook and cranny of the place,
she got to that old worn out book that she had found before. To
her surprise it was one of Omega Nagase’s --May he be suffering
somewhere around hell and earth—journals, were he spoke of his
first and second transformation. In the first chapter there was
something about a ‘Shermie’ whatever that was, prolly some
spirit or crap and it carried some terms that were not in the
       old woman’s dictionary
“mirrors…..energy….Shermie…..power….light” were just a few words
that she could actually get out of it. The second was more
interesting, Omega had died in some battle –That made Mary smile
with a twisted joy—and he explained how someone narrated that
his body started to ‘slowly fade away’. Mary rapidly lifted her
face from the raggedy journal and saw that in fact Serenity was
starting to fade away. Her skin started to look transparent but
just the slightest bit; if you looked at it from afar you would
just think it was a physical limitation of your eye. This caused
the woman to frown and rapidly continue reading. The only thing
that seemed to make his body ‘stay’ was by putting 3 crystals in
a way “…That the beams of light passed from one crystal to the
other and the last multicolored beam pointed at me.” She read
out loud and looked at the sleeping girl. Great. Now where would
she find crystals? Or those crystals? It didn’t specify…
Suddenly she snapped her fingers and roughly stood up from
besides the lifeless girl’s bed. You see, every piece of
furniture in the room was made out of pure crystal. Except the
       girl’s bed.
The desk was made out of a very shiny and transparent sort of
crystal. So beautiful that resembled an ice palace and so was
the chair that was perfectly carved with twists and turns that
were obviously fit for a queen. Mary had no idea of what she was
doing or how was she going to do this, but for some reason she
remembered Snow White’s story. The girl had been preserved with
glass and crystals and she remembered how in the picture one
crystal seemed to lift off from the right side of the girl’s
head. So she placed the chair there. Then moved the desk to the
left side of Serenity’s body which was broad enough to be the
same length as the girl’s bed. To the vampire’s surprise, a beam
of red light suddenly shot from the chair to the desk. “Maria
Madre di Dio…” she whispered softly and crossed herself, taking
her thumb and index finger to her lips and kissing them very
gently. Thanking the mother of Jesus for watching over her, even
when she had been the one bringing death to the child. Rapidly
after that Mary looked for something else to put, and everything
else she used like mirrors, some weird transparent stature that
Serenity had, everything was made out of glass. “ I just need
one more… Uno--- si!” she screamed from the top of her lungs
when she realized that her necklace was lifted towards the
direction of the girl. Knowing that raw energy was being
transferred by one crystal to the other, light. Rapidly Mary
took her necklace out and by instinct went to the right side of
Serenity, the necklace itself suddenly dropped from her hand and
levitated above the girl. From the chair to the desk there was a
ray of red light that was very dim. From the desk to the
necklace was a ray of green light and from the crystal necklace
to the crystal chair there was a ray of blue light, just as dim
as the first one. This rays made some sort of triangular shape,
like an isosceles triangle were one side was bigger than the
other two sides. Obviously, since the chair and the necklace
shared the right side of the bed. The weirdest thing was that
immediately over the girl appeared white beams of lights that
connected from one object to the other. Those beams were bright
and made a sort of buzzing sound as if electricity of some sort,
or simply energy, rushed by them.
Mary was babbled yet completely amazed. She reached in like if
the white lights were leading her into heaven. “così bello…” she
whispered gently and reached a small tanned hand to stop the
blue beam of light to reach the chair. To her surprise, it went
right through her; though when she leaned in to do the same with
the white light, it burnt her skin. The vampires hissed and
stumbled back, cradling her injured hand that sizzled and filled
the place with the smell of burnt flesh.” Merda!!” She cursed
out and looked at the damage. Yes, she was missing the tip of
       her pinky.

There was a call. A holler that made the woman lift her head and
glare out the crystal doors. She forgot the minor pain that she
had been suffering after losing a limb, she forgot what had
caused it, she forgot that Serenity and Edenia excised because
suddenly everything was all good again. The world was pink and
full of roses. Her life was perfect because who had created her
had returned as if he had promised her he would. It didn’t
matter the reason why Mary fled from him now, or that he was a
vile and cruel creature. He was her master and wanted her back.
How joyous! She was picked among a billion people. How joyous!
Mary had been chosen to be with him even if it meant to escape
reality, forget she had a family, forget who she had become.
The woman scrambled to her feet and simply walked out the large
windows of Serenity’s room without even closing the door. Down
the empty and desolated halls. Out the wide entrance of the
mansion without stopping to look at the blossoming flowers and
the buzzing bees that gave her so much joy. She didn’t stop to
smile at the gardener or cared that the sun was starting to
lightly toast her tanned skin. This wouldn’t kill her now, but
could if she spent too much time under the crisp noon light.
Mary did not stop to ask her master where he was or turned
around to kiss the lips of the girl she had disgraced. Much less
had the delicacy of leaving her another recipe and a goodbye
note. “Ya voy, Maestro…” She whispered because Marcos loved it
when she talked in his native tongue. Mary wanted to please him,
always please him. That was why she was walking away to him with
an insane little smirk over her lips. She could hear him
calling, almost feel his embrace “ Muy bien mi preciosa, ven a
mi…” The voice whispered as subtle as the morning breeze. “Si
maestro… ya voy” Mary responded with devotion, walking without
       looking back.

[center]A similar light was fading away. Speckled orbs were
entranced and she was left in a small haze of darkness. It was
so familiar yet so far reached. The shudder that ran up her
spine was far too eerie in this familiarity that just seemed to
get worse and worse as she stood there, trying to feel for the
ribbon that she felt this fading light from. Tangled in this
endless web of these multicolored ribbons and threads, she
plucked and pulled like a harpist to the sting of their
instrument, pulling and playing a bittersweet melody. Till
finally, that simple thread that was so vastly noticeable had
been lost for just a moment. In the instant dainty phalanges
caressed the tender flesh of the threading, she grasped the
ribbon and gave a hard and tense pull to it. Vision, that of an
onlooker's, caressed her mind and she was sent tumbling and
reeling for a moment before she collided with the ground and
pushed herself to an upright position immediately after.
A woman she sought as a daughter, so tragic, just as such a
familiar friend. She frowned, salty liquid that stung her eyes
pooling so fluidly as she made her way to her feet and quickly
shifted through the different paths of dimensional errors and
spacial threads that connected realities. Amaya quickly,
hurriedly, tried to make her way to the fallen woman. 'How the
hell did this happen!? Well... I know how it happened, but how
did I let this happen?! I said I'd protect her damnit!' That
thought ran through her mind a million times over before she
finally was completely engulfed with a blinding reflection of
light that sent her staggering into a wall to shield her eyes.
"Holy fucking goddess of the night!" She said aloud, not really
accounting for the other party that was present. Once she
regained her composure, Amaya squinted and looked around hazily
for a moment before sensitive patterns of hearing picked up on
       the voice traveling.
"What the hell?!" She muttered beneath her breath before she
glanced to the collision of light that bathed the slowly
vanishing corpse of Serenity. Growling a bit, she felt anger, a
rage that she hadn't felt for a very long time. A rage for
someone she cared for being taken away far too soon. That
similar scenario, that familiar repossession of light, she
just... Lost it once more. With that simple snap of sanity,
locks of blond that had been shortened, lengthened once more and
red bled into the light color, staining it. Orbs of speckled
blue turned into that glimmering silver as flesh of scars
returned without their markings of ink. Scars head to toe and a
face that played no emotion came about as she was there one
second then gone the next. In this world, she was well aware
that things were not fair, but she would be damned if she didn't
at least punch the woman for doing this. Especially, for leaving
       Serenity after doing this.
With a visage that exclaimed that familiar eerie sense of rage,
the strawberry scent that often intoxicated the air that she
joined and clashed with, the facade of her figure flickered but
suddenly decided to stay in the room with Serenity. Not even
giving a single care in the world about anything else, she
sedated her anger and lust to slap the bitch and simply leaned
back against the wall and slumped down.
Now if there's one thing that made Amaya, well, Amaya; it was
her calm anger that she couldn't quite control. Especially when
it came to her loved ones. She saw Serenity as her daughter, and
to hurt even one hair on her head? Yeah, she was pretty pissed
about that, but she knew if she were to slaughter this woman as
she wanted to, that when.. If, Serenity came to; she'd be upset.
Though if Serenity ever wished for this woman to fall, Amaya
sure as hell wouldn't hesitate to do such a thing. Even if it
took three days to take the woman down, even if she couldn't,
she'd spend every second trying if Serenity asked it of her.
Sitting there, the red haired woman didn't give a damn about
anything else but keeping an eye on Serenity. Trying to think of
ways to try and help in this situation. She didn't want to
interfere and cause some kind of trauma, but she'd certainly try
to support her afterwards. "I swear I wont leave.." She
muttered, pulling her knees to her chest and resting her chin
upon them. "I wont leave you like this to wake alone.."

Azaria felt weak. Her muscles ached from the trek that she had
made through this forest. Though she had been through this type
of forest before, she found that she was more worn than usual.
Her heart beat slowly in her chest, but she felt as if it should
be racing a million times a second. Turning her emerald eyes,
she looked above her to the canopy. It had been days since she
saw the light that she was following. She was not sure where she
would be able to see it again. Looking forward again, she could
only see endless miles of the trees. She began to wonder if this
was a maze, or she had taken a wrong turn the night before.
Touching her fingertips to her eyes, she closed her eyes for a
moment and leaned against a tree, feeling her bow dig into her
skin as she did so. She pulled away from the tree, released her
face and looked down at the ground before looking at the bow
that she held in her hands. Slipping that back into the pack
that she carried, she pulled out her sword. Maybe, while she was
walking through the forest, she was going to practice a little
       bit.
Perhaps Ryder would love to come out. She thought quietly to
herself. She heard the soft metal sound as she unsheathed her
sword. For a moment, she stared at the delicate design and
traced it with her fingertip. Each crevice was deep and made to
last, meaning a lot more than what it looked like. It was the
symbol of her tribe, of her home. The soft breeze blew through
the forest and she saw her bangs fall into her eyesight. She
looked through the strands for a moment before she let go of the
sword, leaving it in one hand to push back the hair strands that
felt as if they were going to fall free from their restraints.
Once they were put down, she squeezed the handle of her blade
and began following an unseen path until she began to come
across the scent and sounds of water. She heard the bubbling and
she began to smile. She always liked the water and it was a
specific place where she always practiced. Always near water.
Turning her head, she stepped through the thick bushes to come
to a small clearing where the water bubbled down like a stream
       to the right.
She stepped closer and knelt down to run her fingers through it.
It was cool and soft on her fingers. She could see the dirt
running off her skin and she was contemplating cleaning herself
up before she began to see through the edge of the trees just a
mile or so up river, she could see a building. A white building
that seemed to look over this place. She found her next spot.
Cleaning up her hands and arms, she finally stood and took her
sword in hand. She stretched for a moment before doing basic
training movements in the air, making the air slice with how
fast she was going. Her eyes glowed white as the power of the
sword was releasing into her system as she practiced. She had to
continously make sure that she would be able to make the bond
between her sword and her power system inside of her heart. She
was now her Tribe, as she was the last one. It gave her the fate
to continue what she could of that name and keep the tribe alive
through anything that she could...Her muscles tightened and she
continued doing training until she found herself falling to her
       knees with weakness.

How long had it been since Camero stood foot out into the public
eye? Was it the the day of the Funeral of his family five years
ago? It most likely was. All his old friends have tried
contacted him but Camero needed to be alone, until now. The
meadow was very quiet until a soft tune started to play. It
almost sounded like "Gunslinger" minus the heavy part after the
chorus. The wind stirred only slightly as the leaves near the
tree line started to spin. In a blink of an eye, the leaves
caught flame making a small vortex of fire. The flames were a
beautiful mix of gold, silver, black, and red. The vortex landed
on a white building looking over a river. Within the flames, a
figure started to form and that figure, was Camero Tyret. His
rough hands clenched softly as he breathed in the smoke he was
making. The flames died down showing his long, black coat and
black jeans that clung to his body. Blinking his eyes, he looked
around the area. He glanced down at the wedding ring that was
still on his left hand and a soft sigh escaped his lips,
"Caroline...", was all he could say trying to control his
       emotions.
He jumped down from the very top of the building and landed on
his feet without any problem. Something told him someone was
near by so now his eyes were on alert while being ready to
summon one of his swords. Walking, he found a young woman who
looked very familiar to him. Since he had been gone from the eye
of humans for so long, he forgot who most people were to him.
The woman looked tired and possibly hurt. Leaning down, he
looked the girl over trying to find some wounds. All he could do
was gaze at her figure. Shaking his head, he cleared his throat
and started to speak, "Are you okay, miss? Do you need help?",
he asked in a very baritone voice that aged every time he spoke.

It was so cold, so dark, so absent of everything that Serenity
once knew. The calm, the peace, the serenity of being in Edenia
was absent; replaced by this deafening silence and blinding
darkness. There was nothing there, and it was so cold that
Serenity felt herself shivering. But, she couldn't see her self.
Not even her hands that were right in front of her face were
visible. "Hello...?" Serenity called out as she gazed about the
dark emptiness. Her only reply was a faint echo of her word
which seemed to bounce around the whole area and reverberate
back toward her in an haunting way. Even her footsteps echoed as
if she was in a long dark hallway with no sides or end anywhere
near. "Helllooo?" Serenity called again as she searched the
pitch blackness for any answers that may come up, but all she
got in reply was that same lifeless echo. That echo that sounded
like her, yet it was different all the same. The bubbly voice of
Serenity was replaced by a more hollow darker version as it
returned to her. Serenity knew a thing about echoes and this was
not an omen that she particularly liked.
       [glow=red,2,300]"Serenity."[/glow] A voice suddenly echoed
through the dark manifestation of this world of blackness. The
voice was heavy and deep; powerful. "God?" Serenity asked, her
voice now shaky with fear. [glow=red,2,300]"You were always the
funny one. Even when you were a child. But, no. I'm not
Him."[/glow] The voice said, a light chuckle strewn within his
words. Serenity didn't get it, but, if it wasn't God, then...
"Hey, wait.." She quickly said as she examined the place and it
began to make sense. "Look. I'm sorry. I know that my mother and
I never really got along. I tried to make it up to her, I
promise I did! Not my fault she never came around to see how
much things changed! I even gave her a wing of my place. Not a
room, a WING!" Serenity pleaded and pleaded, fearful of what may
become of her now that she had found this place of eternal
emptiness. The voice remained silent for what seemed like hours
and this caused Serenity to almost break down in tears. "But,
hey, you couldn't blame me for being upset at her. She just up
and abandoned us without any words. She wasn't ready to have
kids? I practically raised Shiro since I was eight or nine! How
could she ever know how I fee--"[glow=red,2,300]"SILENCE"[/glow]
       Serenity gulped. "O-Okay."
The voice chuckled again, finding humor in the things that
Serenity was saying. Even though she was scared to death, the
girl was still funny. [glow=red,2,300]"Look, I'm not here to
condemn you at all. I'm actually here to praise you. You've
grown to be a beautiful and intelligent young woman, and you
still have plenty of years ahead of you. Maybe even centuries.
You have proven to be just what I thought you'd be, young
Goddess. You are just on another plane of existence; a higher
plane."[/glow] The voice explained, which did nothing but create
more questions than answers for the deceased. "Umm. Okay? What
does that mean? I'm dead, right?" She knew she had passed, for
she felt nothing like herself at all anymore. She felt... light.
If that was a way of putting it simply of course. "Nice way of
putting it nicely. But, you've 'chosen' me? Who the heck are
you?" [glow=red,2,300]"The mirror that you are protecting, the
reason behind it is that you will become whole. You will shed
your human weaknesses, your human flesh, and become reborn as
something entirely new and complete. Your humanity is what
caused me to choose you as the Goddess of Light. My very own
daughter, Celestia, lacked this trait. But, you proved that you
could be just as good as a goddess as she could have been, and
even better because you were half human."[/glow]
He explained, now giving away who he was to Serenity.
[glow=red,2,300]"I've watched you grow up, I seen how you acted
and you are one not lacking Valor and courage. You aren't full
of yourself and you're compassionate. You know what it's like to
feel pain, to be hurt, to know loss. Most other 'higher beings'
know nothing of this. But, you, you will be perfect, my dear
granddaughter."[/glow] The voice concluded, after bring tears to
       Serenity's eyes. "Gra--Grandaddy? I-- I don't know what to
say.." [glow=red,2,300]"You don't have to say anything. Just
know that I will always be here with you. I may be gone from the
living forever, but as long as you remain my little
granddaughter, nothing shall separate us. I want you to listen
closely: You have shed away your mortal body by dying. Because
of this, you will return stronger, smarter, and brighter than
ever. What Shermie told you was right, but she left vital pieces
out on purpose. When she said you'll know when the time is
right? Well, that time is right now. With your death, you will
bring new life. A better, brighter, richer life than you have
ever imagined. But with this, comes a darker side. Because of
the mirrors you possess, you will notice things about yourself
that you will not like. Darkness also dwells within Light. Our
family is cursed with it, and you're no exception. Be strong,
Serenity. I know you can.. Also, give Mary a message for
       me..."[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]"'Does doing this make you any better than
me..?' That's what I want you to tell her, whenever you see her
again. Of course she helped you in ways that I couldn't, and
helped push this process along, but her actions
afterward..."[/glow] The voice suddenly stopped and the room in
which she was in suddenly was filled with light. A nice warmth
that the woman had missed. [glow=red,2,300]"Well, I'll be
damned. Go home, Serenity. It's time for you to come back to the
world, stronger than ever."[/glow] "But. . . I have so much
questions to ask you! So many things to learn from you!"
[glow=red,2,300]"Shhh my girl. I know you do and you will have
your answers. For now, it is time for you to get back. I love
you."[/glow] The voice of her grandfather faded away as the
light became warmer and brighter. She could feel it pulling at
her essence and soon, she was shredded into nothingness. . .
Moments later, the lights that were building within the crystal
which held Omega's essence, began to crack. Bits and pieces
chipped off of the crystal before the light was able to break
free. It was an amazing spectacle as it took the form of what
seemed like an angel with six wings. The light itself swam about
the air before resting on Serenity's chest. The light soon burst
into star dust and sprinkled the body of Serenity before
spreading out and giving her a slight halo around her figure.
The light pulsed, giving her a neon luminescence that could only
be comparable to the glow that Omega used to have. Suddenly, a
gasp of air filled Serenity's lungs. Her body was still pale and
fading, but the blanket of light was slowly rebuilding her and
keeping her body warm. She couldn't open her eyes just yet, for
her body was still kind of weak, but several minutes later,
Serenity was able to finally open her eyes. They glowed brighter
than normal and she felt lighter, but all she wanted to do was
sleep... What was it about dieing that made her so much more
powerful? She could feel the energy being funneled into her, but
how did this work? Serenity turned her head, and to her
surprise, Mary wasn't there, but she had been replaced by Amaya!
Opening her mouth to speak, Serenity couldn't manage a word out,
so she simply forced a smile.
