[center]The shifting ice began to waver as she found herself
covered by Ryder. It's purple sheen fading away as though it had
never existed, only to break down and return to her chest.
Azaria wouldn't find Amaya, the copy gone as Amaya had died.
Choking and sobbing, she curled into Ryder and shook violently
as she tried to speak. "Ah..Ama.. Amaya's... Amaya's dead.." The
moment she finished that sentence, she began to cry harder. Her
body curled into a tight ball as she shook like a near fallen
leaf in autumn. She knew what was going to happen but she still
didn't believe it. Soon enough, the man himself arrived by
Ryder. Liem stood there, a sorrowful look on his face as he knew
what was about to happen. The second Cherrie noticed his
presence she shot up from Ryder's care, practically bolting at
him as her form shifted. Soon perching over Liem's knocked down
form was the purplish grey maw of a serpent dragon. Her maw big
enough to swallow him whole and her tears enough to drown him
with one. "WHY NOW?!" She roared, her claws digging and
destroying the ground as she sobbed. Liem just looked up at her
with that sad face. "Cherrie... You knew it was time yourself..
That's why you didn't want to part with her.." He whispered.
"But I didn't know it would be now! I thought it would be
later!!! Why?!" Soon enough, she felt hands upon her large lower
jaw as tears filled Liem's eyes. "It hurts.. I know.. Your heart
is dying and I know that.. I'm sorry Cherrie.. I didn't want to
do it either.. But... I was contracted and you know that.. I had
no choice.. I loved Amaya as much as you did.. I always watched
her from afar and kept her from harm as much as I was able to..
Please, Cherrie..." His voice broke and he bit into his lip,
those once cold eyes dimmed as he found a much smaller petite
woman resting on him. Though that didn't halt the stinging pain
of venomous claws that tore into his face. The endless sobbing
only making his heart break more as he didn't dare look up at
her, his arms dropping. Yet, even as he expected more, he just
felt the weight lift off of him as Cherrie got up and returned
to Ryder, he form curling into him once more as she struggled
with her crying. "Go.." She whispered, biting into her lip so
harshly she drew blood on her already battered flesh.
"Cherrie.." He whispered, getting up and reaching out for her.
Though she only buried her face into Ryder and screamed at
him,"GO!" Flinching back, Liem just nodded and bowed before he
vanished once more, Cherrie falling to her knees where she held
her face and continued to sob. [/center]

How deep was this woman's sleep? For one who just woken up
from death, she sure was super sleepy. Jolting awake, Serenity
nearly pushed Lumi off of her chest as the cub tried to wake her
up. "Lumi! We could play later!" She mumbled to her friend and
tried to go back to sleep. "What was she screaming about?"
Serenity rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands as Lumi
explained the distress expressed by Azaria's actions. The
goddess looked at her hand and seen the marks of her flesh being
slightly darkned; Azaria's fingers. Did she hold her hand while
she slept? "This is no time for you to be thinking about things
like that. Something is terribly wrong here and I suggest you go
and check it out.." "Yes. . Mother!" Serenity spoke
sarcastically as she scooted out of bed. She looked outside and
noticed that ice covered the trees and the sun seemed to be
slightly dimmed. "Well, that's odd.." Although Serenity was
naive to the situation, she could feel a deep tugging at her
heart strings; a deep pain seemed to be stabbing the woman in
the chest as she placed Lumi on her shoulder. Forgetting to dawn
any clothing, Serenity remained in her underwear for the moment;
she wasn't leaving the house, right?
The goddess made her way downstairs post-haste seeking to
make sure all was well. "Amaya..." Lumi spoke out as they neared
the bottom of the stair case. Her bare feet now making noises as
it pressed against the white tile of the first floor. She looked
frantically in every room but she couldn't find Amaya. She
turned to the back and hoped that maybe she was there; the
direction of the ice. By this time, Serenity had ran across
Azaria. Looking up toward the woman, Serenity took her hand and
headed out the back door, stopping just to give the woman a
briefing. "Okay, something is wrong. I think whatever it is, is
off where that ic---" Her words were now empty while she pointed
in the direction where the ice once was. "Odd.." She stuttered.
"Whatever, look.. We have to see what's over there and what
happened to Amaya. Maybe she's there with Ryder and Cherrie..
Has to be." Serenity let go of Azaria's hand and made a mad dash
toward the site, even bursting into a blur of light, only to
arrive there in fractions of seconds. She never realized that
she could move that fast before; she was learning about herself
more and more each day.
She didn't see AMaya though and all she seen was Cherrir
crying. Tilting her head as Lumi leaped from Serenity's
shoulder, The goddess knealt down and touched Cherrie's
shoulder. "What.. What happened here?"

Ryder continued to curl up around Cherrie. He was worried about
the woman, as her words that were coming across her lips were
beginning to make him fear of what was happening back at the
house. Was something there that was terrorizing the place? He
didn't know, but then by her words of Amaya was dead, his eyes
widened. Was Azaria next? He continued look down at her, knowing
that he couldn't leave her...He continued to get Azaria awake
through the bond as he hoped to wake her before the being was
going to get her before he was interrupted by a being. Cherrie
shot up and he slowly stood, growling a little bit by the
reaction that Cherrie gave. Was this the being who had harmed
Amaya? He continued to look at the man, but stayed quiet as they
yelled at one another. The man seemed to be doing only his job,
but still...the woman was hurt. He lifted a brow, watching
between them, knowing that they knew each other by the time they
said each other's names. He continued to try and get Azaria, and
by the time that the man had left, he could feel Azaria awake
and running around. He moved to sit next to Cherrie, hoping to
calm her as she was trembling with each harsh sob.
Azaria left Lumi to wake up Serenity as she couldn't waste
anymore time. If there was someone here, she wanted to catch him
before anything else happened. Running down stairs, she looked
around but couldn't find anyone in the house, nor could she find
Amaya. "Amaya?" She called, but there was no answer. She stood
at the back door, looking out into the ice that was beginning to
fade. Her brow lifted, but before she coudl really think about
it, she was suddenly taken by the hand and dragged outside. In
front of her, Serenity stood in her under garments. A blush was
going to over come her cheeks when the briefing began, she had
to think about what was at hand. Turning her head to look at the
place where Serenity was pointing, she nodded her head. "I'll be
right behind you." She said, watching her run, but soon
dissipate into the light. Azaria blinked a little bit but
continued to run behind her. She wasn't as fast as Serenity was,
but she was still faster than human pace. The Vampiric part of
her gave her the boost. Her hair blew behind her and soon, maybe
a minute or so after Serenity arrived, Azaria showed up with a
slight loss of breath. Ryder looked up at her and he nodded,
standing up, letting Serenity and Cherrie have some space, they
knew more about what was going on than himself and Azaria.
"What happened...?" Azaria asked quietly.

[center]Calm, she had to calm down. If she didn't calm down, she
was going to cry herself into a coma at this point. Trying to
heave in her breaths, she shook as she clutched her face. Yet
when she heard Serenity's voice, her heart sank and she just
started to sob more. How could she tell this woman what had just
happened? She couldn't! That was cruel! Sniffling, she shook her
head, she had to tell her. Moving her hands to her bruised and
beaten legs, she clutched her knees and bit into her lips. She
didn't dare look up to Serenity or Azaria now, wishing Ryder
hadn't of backed away at this point. "Amaya's dead.." She
whispered faintly, keeping her watery gaze locked down on the
ground. "Her grandparents.. When she was a child... Had her set
up with a butler who was also her personal reaper.. When they
gave the word, it was her time to go. If he wouldn't have done
it, then the high council would've reprimanded him and her both,
killing them in a brutal and unforgiving way.. Right now.." She
trailed off for a moment, rubbing at her eyes momentarily as she
choked on her words. "Right now.. Dems just showed up at the
house.. Adel and Fayt have come to realize this.. And... It
appears Fayt is on her way to pay a visit to Amaya's
Grandparents.."
Curling her knees into her chest, she wrapped her arms around
them and buried her face in them. Sure, she looked pathetic and
was like a child, but she dind't care. Amaya was her best
friend, her sister, her everything. That woman meant the world
to her and more. There was no one that could replace her. There
was nothing in this world that could ever erase her memory or
her existence from her heart. Her heart it's self was breaking
and she was sinking deeper into her own hatred for herself for
not staying behind. Soon enough, that purple ice began to shroud
her and encase her from the world around her, shrouding her from
reality as she continued to sob. Though instead of encasing her
entirely, she simply let it shroud her flesh so she could cool
down and not have a stroke from over heating herself. [/center]

This news. It hit Serenity like a stack of bricks, crushing her
underneath it's massive weight; unforgiving. She took a step
back, stammering as the news started to finally sink into her
heart. She did a double take and even started this laughter. Not
the kind of happiness, fun, or joy, but a kind of laughter where
things seemed to just be too unreal. "No.. You're lying!"
Serenity's voice became stronger, though she still wasn't fully
healed and fully herself yet. But after that meal and rest, the
underwear clad woman seemed a little stronger than usual. Lumi,
sensing Serenity's eminent outburst, jumped from her shoulder,
shifting in a bright light while midair and landing in a 'human'
form. Needless to say, Lumi was as beautiful in this form as she
was in Panther form. She still held the same distinct features:
The snow white fur/flesh, the start studded eyes, even the comet
like tail. Lumi went to hold Cherrie in her arms and slowly rock
the sobbing woman and wrapping her tail around her as best she
could. "I know it hurts, Cherrie, but do you think she would
want you mourning over something that had to happen and was what
was best? She left quickly and with a smile. She would want you
to celebrate her, not mourn her."
Serenity glared at Lumi as she spoke those words. How could she
even possibly say such things?! Shaking her head, she raised her
eyes to the sky and screamed before dropping to her knees.
Clouds began to form overhead, light began to flicker on and off
as if someone was playing with the light switch that controls
all light in the universe. Lightning began to violently thrash
around Serenity's body before bursting from her body and
rendering the trees surrounding them into burning piles of ash.
She cried as if her very own mother was dead. "Why.. Why..
WHYYY!" She screamed, the ground began to rumble and shake,
sending splintering fissures in all directions from her
location. Her body glowed brightly before fizzling and
flickering like the lights everywhere else. One second it' total
darkness; no light exists. The next, it's normal. The once
colorful eyes of Serenity flickered then turned a glowing fiery
gold. At this moment, she had forgotten about hearing about the
whereabouts of her uncle, Adel, who she had been wondering about
for ages. "Serenity?" Lumi called out, worried about Serenity's
'transformation'. No one, not even Serenity, herself, knew about
this darkness inside of her. But, it was what Shirmie had warned
against, as well as her grandfather.
[glow=red,2,300]"Why must everyone leave me?1 Why do I have to
be alone?! Why couldn't you just say goodbye, WOMAN!?"[/glow]
Serenity's voice screamed out in pain and anger. Photons swirled
around her as if a laser show about wind before dispersing
again. [glow=red,2,300]"I.. I just want to say. . Thank you for
all you've done.. Is that too hard?! Is that too much to fucking
ask!? Fuck! I.. I don't know what I'll do without her.. She was
always there.. Now she wont ever be again.."[/glow] "Serenity?
Please, calm down.." Lumi interjected, but was met with another
golden eyed glare. [glow=red,2,300]"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! How
in the FUCK do you think I am supposed to do that? I'm not as
close to Amaya like others were, but, dammit.."[/glow] Crystal
tears dripped from her eye sockets, forming from liquid light to
pure diamonds in matter of seconds. Lightning arched from her
fingertips, through her hair, and under her flesh like crawling
veins. [glow=red,2,300]"Just.. Don't talk to me right
now.."[/glow] Serenity turned to walk back to her place, while
Limi held Cherrie in her arms, sighing. She turned her own teary
gaze to Azaria. "This isn't Serenity. Something's wrong..
Please..?" She asked, knowing the woman would get the hint. She,
would stay with Cherrie and Ryder.

Azaria could feel the pain and tension between the women. Amaya
meant alot to them. She could tell by how they were reacting
when she first stepped into Serenity's home. She could feel the
tightness of family and the love that warmed up the place. She
bit onto her lip and looked at Serenity as the news came to
flash around Serenity. There was suddenly strength in her body
and light surrounding her skin. She stood there, beautiful as
ever and Azaria was amazed, but could not look at her much
longer. The lightening that was surrounding her and it was
practically blinding the woman, but she had to keep looking. It
was amazing, but yet horrible at the same time. She needed to
calm down, but who could calm her down? Only Amaya could,
because she was the reason why she was acting this way. It was
something that was coming out in Serenity that Azaria never had
seen from just coming in and speaking to her the little time
that she had. She didn't know how to handle the woman.
And apparently saying calm down was not helping the situation at
all. She looked at Lumi who explained that something was wrong.
She nodded her head, not sure if she should go and follow
Serenity or stay with them. She hesitated, but then moved to
walk where Serenity went. The lightening was burning everything
around them. It was catching everything on fire and the beauty
of the island was slowly fading away. By the time that Serenity
would calm down, she was sure that the whole island would be
nothing but ash and sand. She could see it now, as she had seen
something similar before. Biting her lip, she ran to catch up
and walked beside her but said nothing. She knew that if she
did, she would be struck by lightening as well. It was only a
matter of twenty seconds of courage that she was going to get
something positive out of it, but she was still scared of the
strength of the woman. She had never seen this and she was still
hesitant if she felt like dying today.
Ryder looked at Cherrie and Lumi. "I hope that Serenity doesn't
kill Azaria." He said with a soft tone before curling around
them to keep them together and block them from some of the fires
around them. Ryder was not as calm as he seemed as he was
genuinely worried, but he had a feeling that everything would be
okay.
Azaria walked forward and when they finally reached the place,
letting her have some silence before she opened the door for
her, not wanting her to hurt herself by just barging in.
"Serenity..." She whispered before she finally caught her hand,
pressing her lips together and hoping for the best. She laced
her fingers through hers, giving her the silent words of "I'm
here for you." While knowing that she could possibly be struck
by lightening by the notion, literally. Looking straight at her,
seeing her beautiful face in front of her, seeing her beautiful
statue of a body in front of her, she felt herself still in
silent awe. Stepping forward, after with the soft moment of
hesitance, she was going to wrap her arms around her. "I'm here
if you need anything." She whispered quietly before giving her a
soft squeeze and released her before she was to be pushed away
if Serenity thought about it...

[center]The whispers of a gentle darkness. It engulfed her and
brought her to a standstill. She knew that Fayt would do
something like that. Though that isn't what concerned her most.
It was Serenity. The woman was falling fast and she didn't know
how to help. In moments of happiness, one could find misery in
an instant. Soon enough, the weaving winds and scent of
intoxicating strawberries began to filter into the lands.
Despite being dead, she could still do something. She knew that,
having been dead plenty of times before. Though this time may
have been permanent, she would still make her spirit known.
Golden orbs rested upon the three that had twined into each
other for comfort. Her heart sinking at the display of mourning
though she said nothing to them for the moment. Cherrie could
already feel her, she already knew she was there. Woven in black
as the woman had always been, she soon stood before Serenity.
Her arms outstretched in front of her as the tingling sensation
of the partially transparent fingers brushed against cheeks. She
couldn't keep herself solidified for long, but she would keep
herself this way as long as possible. Practically sapping energy
from her own soul to do so as well as Crystalia's core.
Until Fayt took on the responsibility of holding Crystalia's
beating core, then she'd still have enough energy to establish a
stable solidity for a while. "Serenity... Darling calm down."
She said, the voice traveling upon winds with a graceful twist
around the flesh. "I'm here.. Though I may not be alive, I told
you, I will always be here. You must calm down and listen.. I
love you, so don't fret over me dying. There's no sense in
mourning a woman who has completed her life." She whispered,
that same old kind smile curving red lips as she looked at the
woman. Turning her eyes to Azaria, she softly smiled. "And you
also have a woman right here who wishes to be kind and cherish
you. So you are not alone.." Cherrie's body shook and quivered
as she sniffled and looked at Lumi then Ryder. "She'd never hurt
Azaria.." She muttered, letting the ice cascade her flesh
further as she curled up tighter. "Amaya's here.. She's talking
to Serenity.. And even though I know she's going to be mad at me
for being so upset.. I can't help it.." Choking on her words,
she pressed the back of her hands to her eyes and started to sob
harder once more. [/center]

Serenity was literally storming off; her mind wasn't in the
right place. She was clouded by this darkness that her family
had always eluded to. Adel was in a constant struggle against it
and Serenity had hoped that she wouldn't be confined to this
fight for sanity and insanity, light and darkness, life and
death. . The flickering of light seemed to intensify as she made
her way toward her home. Soon Serenity found that her door was
opened by Azaria. Serenity growled and rolled her demented
golden eyes as she passed through the doors and walked past the
woman. Why was Serenity even doing this? Where was she going?
She didn't know; comprehension wasn't the easiest thing to come
by in this situation and mindset. She soon was stopped by
Azaria, the brunette female lacing her fingers with Serenity's
own. The goddess stood there in silent contemplation as her hand
was held by the softest fingers she had ever felt; even though
this woman seemed to be a warrior. She turned her head down to
look look at the linking hands. Bright flesh against slightly
tanned. She didn't speak once the woman closed the gap between
them and pulled Serenity into this deep hug; a hug that was more
than comforting. Her eyes wavering from gold to it's normal star
studded Unique mixture of gold and violet pupils and mirror like
silver irises.
Serenity simply broke down in Azaria's arms after at least a few
minutes of not hugging back. Slowly, as Serenity cried and clung
onto the taller woman; she felt so good in her arms and Serenity
didn't want to let her go. She felt an odd comfort with her.
Serenity started to sniff and the aroma of Strawberries perfumed
the air around them. She turned to see where it was coming from,
and to her disbelief, it was Amaya. The goddess' eyes watered
even more as it widened in response to the sight before her. The
scowl remained upon her lips, her eyebrows furrowed in anger and
sorrow as the 'ghost' spoke to her. She turned from Amaya and
back to Azaria before returning her gaze to Amaya once more.
Azaria wanted to Cherish Serenity? Nah. It wasn't like that. She
was just returning her kindness. Serenity thought to herself
while remaining in Azaria's arms, shaking her head. She tried to
get back into her light and after a while, her struggles paid
off. All the light seemed to be replaced and her eyes returned
back to normal. "Amaya.. I'm sorry.. I. You know I can't handle
abandonment that well. You could have at least said bye and let
people say bye to you instead of keeping this shit from us. The
people you left behind has no answers or closure! Please, do
this for everyone else.." She said, leaning more into Azaria
without thinking it. Did this woman even know what Serenity was?
"I.. I'm sorry for lashing out at you, Azaria. I just feel
stupid now. But justified all the same." She confessed, gazing
down at their still locked fingers and slightly blushing.
"Good, Cherrie. I don't think Serenity would harm her either,
but she isn't herself. Maybe both of them could help calm the
Goddess down. She is quite the firecracker.." Lumi spoke and
shrugged. "We have every right to be upset, but the people who
had no idea about this have more of a right than we do.."

The door was the least thing that she could do for Serenity.
Opening her home to her was something most important to Azaria.
Letting Serenity through with the glare that she had received,
she didn't even mind. The woman was in despair at the moment for
the loss of her motherly figure. It would be something like when
she had lost both of her parents to the Vampires. They were
ripped apart in front of her eyes...She had to blink away the
sadness that overwhelmed her body. Serenity needed her now and
she was not going to sink herself into the depression like she
was when she was younger. Her eyes traveled over the woman,
seeing the glow, yet slight darkness surrounding the woman.
Reaching out, she held Serenity's hand softly, gently, just to
show that she was there. She needed it in that moment. Both of
them did. Pulling on a soft smile, she offered it to Serenity
who only stared at her wildly. She bit her lip slightly, letting
the smile fade only a little bit before she hesitantly pulled
her forward into a hug. Her fingers stayed laced with hers and
her free arm wrapped around the woman's shoulders, making sure
that she held tightly onto her. "I'm here if you need
anything..." She said quietly before the minutes continued.
She waited for Serenity to finally loosen up and hug her back,
but it continued to be stiff. She didn't return the squeeze and
perhaps she was thinking that Azaria should leave her be and
just let her go. She was about to when Serenity finally broke.
It was surprising and Azaria's body trembled a little bit as the
woman finally wrapped her arms around her and embraced her back.
A smile covered her lips as she closed her eyes, holding her a
little tighter before she smelled something. Strawberries.
Turning her head, same as Serenity did to see the ghost form of
Amaya standing before her. Azaria stayed quiet, looking at the
figure speak to Serenity. She still only held onto Serenity for
the moments cause her arms did not loosen around Azaria. Though
as the words passed Amaya's lips about Azaria wanting to cherish
Serenity, she caught the look on Serenity's face and she
returned the look before glancing toward Amaya. Serenity was
friendly and very cute, but it was happening too fast. She would
have to take this slow and she was not sure if even the right
meaning was coming across her. Keeping herself quiet, she
finally felt the soft squeeze come across her fingers and the
apology come across her lips as she leaned farther into Azaria's
arms. "It is alright, Serenity. Everyone has their moments." She
smiled down at her and traced her fingers up her back to softly
hold her head in a gentle embrace.
Ryder nodded his head toward Cherrie and Lumi. "Together, for
Serenity. It will be great." He said with a smile before curling
tighter around them. Cherrie was still tightening and crying.
"Shhh, Cherrie." He soothed her, wanting to say that it was
okay, but they knew it wasn't. Cherrie missed her friend, her
sister, her mother, her everything. It would take a while.
Azaria watched her look down at their hands for a moment and she
smiled, giving Serenity's hand a soft squeeze. "Come on, all of
that lightening must have worn on you." She gave a soft kiss to
the top of her head before pulling away, holding both of her
hands. "Cause, I do have to say. That was amazing." She let out
a soft giggle, hoping to cheer the magical woman up or at least
get a small smile from her.
"Why don't we go back to the house. Being apart will help
nothing." Ryder whispered tightly, nudging Cherrie with his big
nose against her shoulder. "You guys can ride on my back up
there." He offered, letting them take it in before he was move
or do any action.

[center]A smile played upon lavish flesh as she looked at
Serenity. She knew the woman would be upset with her, though she
only shook her head. "I did not remember what had been planned
for me, and I did indeed struggle and fight back, but I was too
weak in the end. Darling if I had known, even then I would not
have told you goodbye.. Because a goodbye means for forever,
doesn't it? And there's nothing good about saying bye.. Darling
I will see you again, I will always keep watch over you, and I
will help you when you need me.. Just keep in mind, I will never
abandon you.. You will always have Lumi as well." Smiling, she
leaned close to the two women and placed a kiss atop Serenity's
head, her expression soft as she gazed at her. "Go with Azaria,
get some rest sweetie." Looking to Azaria, she chuckled a bit.
"Take care of her, please. And dearest... I'm well aware that
you're an awkward turtle." She winked and laughed a bit, smiling
brightly before she gave a gentle nod of her head and was gone
as quickly as she had came. Finding herself to see Cherrie
curled up and sobbing again, the ghostly woman quirked a brow

Purple ice suddenly spiked up and shrouded every part of her
before she let it die down and turned to see Amaya. Eyes welled
with tears but Amaya just pressed her fingers to plush flesh and
smiled. "Cherrie.. It's okay to be upset, but you knew I was
going to die, I didn't even know but you still came into that
room to try and protect me. It's okay now.. You can cry your
little heart out but I will still be of the dead at the end of
it all.. So be wise and care for the children.. Fayt's already
started a war with the council for what they've done.. My love
and her's both there and quite enraged.. Though I hope they
don't harm Liem.. I know you already gave him a good lashing,
but he was just doing what he needed to do.. So calm your little
heart and please.... Take care of yourself, Cherrie.." Looking
to Ryder and Lumi, the half transparent woman smiled and
inclined her head before she was suddenly fading away. Cherrie
choked back her tears and watched Amaya go. Her heart sinking
once more before she slowly got to her feet and started to walk
back to Serenity's home, her eyes cast downwards and her nails
digging and tearing at her arms as she bit into her lip all too
