By: Scelah Valdez Date: November 29, 2011, 8:37 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
[font=andale mono]Scelah quickly found herself becoming lost
within the woman's aura as her own seemed to fade in comparison,
just a spark in the presence of the sun. Her mind whirled around
the very thought of this beautiful woman in front of her, the
way her hair clung to her exquisitely radiant face, her soft
eloquent neck, her sun-kissed chest. The overwhelming urge to
grab her and hold her very closely to her slander frame came on
like an unexpected rainstorm, and her cheeks burned accordingly.
She had just met this woman...and yet. There was something about
her. More than her heart-stirringly bright glow that dared the
sun to stop shining, no, it was much more than that. Scelah's
eyes moved over Serenity's fit body again, at a loss for words
for how much this woman had affected her. She truly was
overwhelmed. The way her eyes sparkled and danced as if not a
worry or care in the world existed other than being separated
from her for even another moment. Serenity was perfection in
every sense of the word, and inexplicably so. She knew beyond
any doubt that she was meant to meet her in the dream, that
somehow, this would manage to be bigger than both of them
dreamed. She felt this sense of calm tranquility...serenity at
it's best, as her mind knit the thoughts together.
With the tropical wind blowing, Scelah's hair blew lightly, a
fluffy, wavy kind of dry the only comes after being in a body of
water. The scent of her was a mix of earth and sunshine and rain
all at once, and she hoped she smelled alright. She quickly
glanced down and noticed that Serenity's hand was outstretched
towards her, catching only the last bit of her sentence.
       [glow=red,2,300][color=purple]"...attention to where I'm
going."[/glow] Scelah tried to remember if she heard the woman's
lovely voice before that, but knew she hadn't for she was so
lost in her thoughts. She just smiled and nodded, a bit
awkwardly, hoping the woman wouldn't sense her nervousness.
Scelah was never usually nervous, but Serenity changed
everything. She let a soft, bell-like laughter spill from her
lips as her cold hand met Serenity's in the middle, feeling
spark after spark shoot through her spine. She was amazed.
Though she already knew her name, it was a pleasure to hear it
again. She remembered back to the dream fondly, a smile widening
on her lips until it stretched from ear to ear. She bit her lip,
a nervous habit that never died from when she was younger, and
kept her eyes trained on Serenity's. Scelah's grasp around her
hand tightened ever so slightly as she began to speak, deciding
to wait until later to reveal her secret to Serenity. Her soft
soprano voice, laced with a hint of foreign accent, encompassed
the silence around them. "My name is Scelah Valdez, but you may
call me what you like. And I've only just arrived around two
weeks ago, but you are correct. We...don't know each other
well." A soft smile danced along Scelah's lips as she awaited a
       response from the sunlight.[/font][/color]

De-Ja-Vu is a strange thing. It gives you that sense of
familiarity even while being in a strange location with odd
occurrences that seemed like it would never have happened
before. But, this was the feeling that Serenity was having
presently, as if this whole situation had happened before. Yet,
she couldn't place it, nor could she remember ever being to this
part of Edenia. Upon taking in the sites, she was stopped in her
path by this most beautiful of patrons. It was odd, really.
Serenity always seemed to draw women who were so tropical, so
exotic, and so beautiful, that it made her wonder why. But,
obviously, she wouldn't question such things. Mary, then
Ophelia, now, for some reason, this woman appeared basically at
her doorstep. Serenity began to ponder if women who come to
Edenia are always this beautiful and exotic. Serenity was soon
thrown from her thoughts as she felt the squeeze upon her hand,
waking her up quickly. Surprisingly, she didn't notice that
Scelah had been drifting into her own set of thoughts at the
same time. Because of this, Serenity had hoped the brunette
beauty didn't notice her own migration from the real world.
[glow=red,2,300]"Scelah. That name sounds so familiar. I guess I
should tell you my full name so I wont be considered a rude
host. Serenity Nagase. Your name is beautiful and strange.
       Though, it's so damned familiar I can't place it.."[/glow]
Serenity offered a bright smile, but scratched her head in
pressing thoughts with her free hand. [glow=red,2,300]"I'm sorry
we haven't met earlier. I was sort of. . Detained at the moment.
But, now that we have met, how do you like the place so
far?"[/glow] The scene was starting to become much more familiar
as she could remember being in this same situation before in
this same place; as if she has had a premonition about this vary
       same situation.

[font=andale mono]Scelah's hair was mostly dry now, strands of
it catching in the tropical breeze as goosebumps adorned her
olive skin. Her slender figure shivered in response to the beads
of water seeping into her smooth skin. Scelah found herself
smiling lightly as her senses flooded with Serenity once more,
not that she was complaining. She let her eyes avert to the
blooming with life ground, just long enough to convict herself
about the dream she had not yet told Serenity. The one she was
featured in. She bit her lip and raked over every last detail
etched in her wandering mind, thinking of ways to reveal to
Serenity why this place was so familiar. Why every little piece
of this meeting felt...nostalgic. Like something lost in a book,
only to be remembered by a vague sort of haze upon mention.
Scelah felt a slight pull in her hand and noticed that the two
young women were still interlocked. She gave off a nervous sort
of giggle and let her hand fall to her side. Then, with as much
focus ad she could muster--which, seemingly wasn't much due to
every little thing about Serenity which kept her mind
away--turned her attention to Serenity's lightly glowing face
and let her smile hang loosely on her lips. As she was about to
speak, she decided against telling her just yet about their
dream meeting and instead, answered her question.
[color=purple]"Serenity...the name is almost as beautiful as the
woman it labels." Scelah's dancing eyes shifted to meet
Serenity's with a look of great enjoyment on her face. "Edenia
is absolutely ravishing. Not quite as ravishing as you, but it
sure comes close. I've already fallen in love with this
place..." She let her voice trail off as her cheeks turned pink
with nervousness. How did Serenity manage to make someone like
       Scelah nervous..?[/font][/color]

Serenity couldn't help but blush at the words that Scelah had
spoken. It was like this woman was a Gatling gun of compliments,
bombarding Serenity with a constant flurry of the cheek
       reddening words. [glow=red,2,300]"Thank you, Scelah. I couldn't
imagine someone hating this place. But, I guess not everyone
loves paradises. I've modeled this place after the one my
grandfather had created. This is my home, the home of my family,
and creatures of Light.."[/glow] Serenity rambled on and on
about her home world, quite proud of her accomplishment. Not
wanting this awkward standing to continue, Serenity decided to
walk back up river to the center of Isla Del Sol, where the most
beautiful of waterfalls lived. It seemed to be hidden from one
side of the land, but once you make it around the small mountain
range, the spectacular falls could be seen in all of it's
splendor. This whole trip was beginning to feel as if it had
been rehearsed and she was acting out the part as if it was show
time. [glow=red,2,300]"Scelah, come! I want to show you
something. You're the first visitor in a long time that hasn't
tried to use me or whatever. So, I want you to be the first to
see this. I mean, since it is just us two here anyway, I guess I
could use the company.."[/glow] Serenity said, trying to hide
the smirk that befell her peach lips. Truth be told, Serenity
had abandonment issues; issues with people coming into her life
and leaving her abruptly. So many people have done this. From
her mother Rain, to Mary, to Ophelia. Even the only male who had
Serenity's heart just up and left her without a single goodbye.
This had made Serenity apprehensive about letting people too
close, but always happy to speak to knew people all the same.
Serenity began to run up the winding road that traveled along
side the river, looking back and giggling as she did so. She
didn't use her light speed, knowing that Scelah wouldn't be able
to keep up. She just jogged at normal speed to keep this
interesting. [glow=red,2,300]"Come on now! Don't be a slow
       poke!"[/glow]

       ---------------------------------------------------------
[font=andale mono]A string of melodies in the form of laughter
burst from Scelah's mouth as she nodded, listening to Serenity's
animated voice, seeing her hand gestures take over her whole
body. She was so beautiful when she talked. Scelah's feet forced
her body to move next to Serenity's, sauntering their way down
the path together, almost as if they were old friends. Scelah's
lip found it's way between her teeth once more as her mind
stayed stuck on what she had said about the land being modeled
after her Grandfather's land. She felt an odd sort of misplaced
sadness at this fact...That there was still so much she had yet
to learn about Serenity, that she wasn't just who you met on the
surface. She had depth and a history and a story that Scelah
wished she could sit and listen to for hours, if only to say
that she knew Serenity better than anyone else. But would that
really happen? Would she allow herself to get close to this
stark, breathtaking beauty that was Serenity, or would she end
up running from her to protect her? It was a twisted, odd way of
thinking, and yet it seemed to plague her mind with endless
terrible situations which led to Serenity being ushered out of
her life at one period of time or another. She also thought
about how little she had to share with Serenity. She barely
remembered her childhood, let alone the countless nights she had
spent wandering, cold, and helpless. She shook her head sharply
at those thoughts and pushed them away. She wasn't that person
anymore, she was good. She would stay with this woman, as a
friend or more, in whatever capacity that Serenity wanted her,
until she didn't want her anymore. It was a strange thing,
caring about someone. No matter how unbelievably unhappy you end
up, the only thing that matters is the fact that they would
remain happy. A sigh left Scelah's mouth as she pushed her
fingers through her now dry, wavy, dark auburn hair, finally
tuning her attention back on Serenity. She realized Serenity was
a few steps ahead, and she jogged to catch up with her, Scelah's
radiant smile occupying her face once more. She listened
intently as Serenity gushed about the rest of her kingdom and
what she was going to show her, and Scelah swore she had died
and gone to heaven. In this moment, all was perfect.[/font]

Serenity couldn't help but giggle as she turned her head back
and seen that Scelah was still gazing at her like a deer caught
in headlights. Until, finally, the exotic beauty had started to
keep pace with her. Serenity figured that this woman didn't have
a body like this just by sitting at home all day watching TV or
something; she just HAD to have some athletic bones in her body.
At this moment, Serenity realized that her ankle felt healed
from the sprain that she suffered only two weeks prior. Though,
when that thought came about, pain shot up her leg, the fizzled
out as if sparks shooting from a lit object, only to vanish
again into obscurity. That was so strange, but Serenity soon
felt no pain, and her brief limp went by without causing her to
miss many steps. Giggling at this fact, Serenity sped up her
jog, now going into a full sprint. The scenery was beautiful as
it passed by, her now damp, yet drying blond hair, darkened by
the remnants of the remaining water, bounced along as she ran.
Her small bust bounced right along with each step she made,
threatening to jump out of her top in order to join in the
exercise. They was almost there and Serenity could feel the
temperature cooling, she could hear the sounds of the rushing
waters as they pound into the river below. She didn't know why,
but that sense of De Ja Vu was returning, this time ten fold. As
they approached, the massive waterfall in the center of Edenia
was now prominent. It's white waters crashing against the deep,
flowing river, feeding the ever hungry monster of water's body
from the snow capped mountain top.
Finally, Serenity came to rest at the waterfall's edge. The
spray of cool water dampened her body once more and she could
feel the tender tickle of wet grass under her toes as they
licked the sand from her feet with each shuffle she made.
Bending her back and stretching her narrow legs, Serenity smiled
and caught her breath from that brisk run; it was much easier to
travel at light speed than to hold herself to human speeds,
which she didn't understand, but was happy about that. Waiting
for Scelah to catch up, Serenity gazed at the mist that rose
like ghostly apparitions who loved nothing more than to play
along the cascading waterfall. The mist gave birth to several
rainbows, ranging from all shapes and sizes and even latitudes.
[glow=red,2,300]"Well, here it is. The granddaddy of them all.
This is the largest and most majestic waterfall in all of
Edenia. My grandfather loved waterfalls; he would always just
sit and stare at them for hours on end meditating or doing God
knows what. I was told I had inherited the same love for the
falling water. It really is one of the most beautiful things
that I have ever seen.."[/glow] Serenity confessed as she felt
Scelah's presence approaching closer to her. She could actually
feel the warmth radiating from her as the sun kissed her body
and refracted light. [glow=red,2,300]"I could sit out here all
night and just enjoy the pleasant surroundings. Gosh, I sound so
       old.."[/glow] Serenity said with a giggle. [glow=red,2,300]"So,
       whatcha think?"[/glow]

       ---------------------------------------------------------
[font=andale mono]The olive toned Scelah followed reluctantly
behind the ever beautiful Serenity, her eyes transfixed on the
woman just steps ahead of her. Scelah had been and seen some of
the most beautiful, breathtaking places in the world, but none
more so than Edenia and Serenity. In fact, she was willing to
bet that, without Serenity, Edenia would be nothing but a chunk
of land no different than anywhere else. As Serenity sped up her
pace, Scelah giggled and began to transition into a light jog,
gaining speed to match Serenity. The two contrasting women were
still a few paces away from each other, and Scelah's thoughts
carried her to the dream, replaying the piece of the moving
picture in her mind, the two images lining up perfectly. So, the
dream Serenity really was like the real Serenity. She smiled and
took note of the lingering secret she would have to tell
Serenity, and soon. Had she turned ADD or something? Another
light, bell-like giggle escaped the crevice of Scelah's tinted
pink lips at her jumble of thoughts and took a moment to glance
around at all the wonders of Edenia. She could swear that she
had never been happier than right here in this moment.
As the musings of the effervescent beauty--mere steps ahead of
her--reached her ears, she began to wonder if the woman had
noticed how enticingly similar this situation would appear. As
quickly as the thought came, though, it dispersed just as fast
and Scelah was left breathless. Her eyes feasted upon the
beautiful majestic waterfall, letting her senses indulge in the
beauty and absorb every miniscule, wonderful thing about it. Her
heart was beating at a steady pace, but the moment her senses
came upon the waterfall it was like she had died. Her eyes
slowly opened once more and were flooded with the light
radiating from Serenity's svelte body. The combination of
Serenity and the waterfall was too much to bear and Scelah found
herself on her knees, the blades of green cushioning her bare
legs, as silent tears stained her lovely olive tinted cheeks. A
breath left her throat as her hands rested on her knees, no
thoughts, no words, just silence. She knelt on the ground
unmoving and entranced, not even noticing the tears that found a
       home upon her skin.
A moment too long had passed when she came back to life,
breaking the ice to breathe once more from her trap of temporary
immobility. She shook her locks of near black hair out and hid
her face behind her hands, wiping her tears and hoping she
hadn't made too much of a scene. [color=purple]"I'm so sorry
       about...that. I've just...never seen anything quite so
beautiful. It brought me back to-" She cut off her train of
thought quickly and refused to say more until her introspection
had shifted to a more acceptable topic. Her eyes slithered up
Serenity's body and found her dazzling, kaleidoscopic eyes,
causing the corners of her mouth to pull up into a smile,
threatening to be wider than the ocean. "It really is beautiful
here. How did you envision all of this? Was this your dream as a
little girl.." She continued looking up at her and listened to
the last bit of her soothing voice. "And for the record, you
don't sound old. You sound humanly, enchantingly beautiful. So
much so, that I am drawn to know you on a deeper level...I just
have this...I don't know what you would call it. I haven't had a
friend for a very long time, but I guess you could say that I
just long to know you. To know your heart. And to be in awe of
it's beauty." Her smile widened and oddly, she realized she
wasn't embarrassed or nervous by what she had just admitted. It
was true. She awaited the bright lovely sound of Serenity's
voice once more, wondering how she would respond.[/font][/color]

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Soon after Serenity had spoke, there was a long pause, only the
sounds of rushing waves crashing into the indigo waters could be
heard all around them. Serenity didn't know what was happening,
       was this olive toned beauty really just taking in the sights;
utterly breathless at it's majesty, or did she, like all others
before her, found another path to take away from the Goddess?
Sighing, the woman turned around to face the place where she had
last felt Scelah's presence, and to her surprise, the girl was
still there! Peach lips formed into a smile as she simply
watched the reaction take place; like a story unfolding within
the mind of Scelah. She was on her knees, simply gazing out into
the monstrous waterfall, eyes searching up and down Serenity,
then to the falling liquid behind her; as if she was a moving
portrait being examined by an enamored artist's eyes. Inspecting
the glamorous created before her like it would soon be gone. The
sight of the tears almost overwhelmed Serenity, to the point of
just barely escaping bursting into tears, herself. The sight was
something to behold, and she was very proud of it, and seeing
Scelah's reaction gave off mixed feelings. Was she sad? Happy?
Or just overwhelmed by it's shear beauty that she couldn't help
but break down? Serenity really hoped it was the latter of the
choices, but she'd be happy with just happiness radiating from
       Scelah's mind.
The Light Goddess held out her hand and offered to help Scelah
stand to her beautiful feet as the woman explained why she was
reacting that way. But, she couldn't understand why she cut her
words off so early and completely switched gears. She seemed to
be a complex web of emotions, not too dissimilar from Serenity,
at all. [glow=red,2,300]"Thank you. I'm glad that you like it.
But, what does it bring you back to? If you don't mind my
asking. It's just hard to understand. But, you don't have to
tell me if you don't want to, I mean, I'll understand that and
just take it as that.."[/glow] Serenity ushered in another
smile, wider this time in collaboration with Scelah's own
glowing and warm facial gesture. Thinking for a moment, Serenity
glanced up toward the sky then returned her luminous gaze back
toward Scelah. [glow=red,2,300]"Hmm. You know what? I don't
think I've ever dreamed of this place. It was something I've
always seen as a kid, ya know? My father would take me to the
original Edenia and it had stuck with me. Once I was chosen to
take on the job that I have now, I just felt compelled to
reconstruct a land that was befitting of my title and create a
new home world for my people and anyone who would wish to share
       this place. I hope that's a good enough answer?"[/glow]
Serenity spoke, turning her head back toward the rushing
torrents of waters before returning to view upon Scelah as she
spoke once more. Rosey tints befell Serenity's cheeks as she
perceived each word uttered by the tanned beauty.
       [glow=red,2,300]"I really don't know what to say,Scelah.. I.. I
find myself drawn to you as well. Strangely and undeniably
attracted to you. I don't know what spell you have on me, but it
seems like you've caught lightning in a bottle and I've drawn a
moth to my light.."[/glow] Serenity giggled before turning her
gaze down, her blond locks spilling over hear face.
[glow=red,2,300]"I don't know.. I would love to share my heart
with you. To open up and invite you in. But.. It just scares me.
To be so attracted to someone I hardly know, yet feel like I've
known you longer. To be so... Taken by you and worrying about if
this is all but a dream that would be over soon and you'd be
gone from my life forever.. I don't know if I could take
that.."[/glow] She confessed, her own glistening crystal like
       tears birthed from her eyes as she looked back toward Scelah;
face twisted with a worried and sad expression. Even though she
spoke those words, Serenity would have to take Amaya's words
under consideration, especially since she seemed so wise and
knowledgeable. It was just the fear gripping Serenity that
       caused her to not want to open her life up to anyone anymore;
being Forever Alone seemed just right. Though, being in Scelah's
       presence felt even better. Oi..

[font=andale mono]It was happening all over again. Scelah's
breath was barely filling up her lungs as the sight in front of
her granted her breathlessness once more. Briefly and
humorously, she imagined what the beauty in front of her must be
thinking--something along the lines of :I think I've just met a
crazed sociopath with an asthma problem..: This thought caused
Scelah to laugh quietly to herself and look to the ground,
feeling silly and insecure in the amount of emotions she was
feeling right about now. She bit her lip and gazed up at the
artistry before her, unable to fathom even in her wildest dream
walks that someone like Serenity could exist. But here she was,
in front of Scelah with a smile that could go on for miles and
miles and never stop shining. With her silky, slightly damp
blonde hair that seemed so fitting of her, only enhancing the
multicolored hues that lie within the confines of her eyes,
conveying so much emotion and thought, yet concealing much more.
Scelah was certainly in awe of her, and she felt like she got
lost with every deep gaze, every shared word between them
holding more meaning than either of them could conjure up on
purpose. Could it be that fate had led Scelah, the wild,
adventurous, exotic beauty into Serenity's life for a reason?
Perhaps just as a friend, and even so, Scelah yearned to the
very core of who she was, to just be in the presence of such
exquisiteness. Her thoughts circulated around in her noisy head,
a tornado of Serenity settling in and aiming to stay, forever a
distraction, forever a muse. Scelah's smile was so bright in
this moment, she was quite convinced that if someone were to
turn off the sun, her smile would shine more than enough light
to make a facade of daytime. She shook her head at her raucous
thoughts as her gaze poured into Serenity, forever lost.
With hand slightly shaky, she took Serenity's offered hand and
rose to her dainty feet, almost made dizzy by the onslaught of
new thoughts caused by the woman's motions. It was like Serenity
was this liquid summer, melted sun exuding warmth, laughter and
happiness, and Scelah was caught in her intoxicatingly sweet
aura, wanting to never be released from her grip. If this is
what she felt after a simple hand touch, she was nervous to see
what other emotions lie ahead for them. Of course, she could
only hope that Serenity would feel the same. Her thoughts and
mind stopped swirling enough, allowing her to listen intently to
the words escaping Serenity's perfect peach colored lips. As she
asked about her earlier cut off remark, Scelah bit her lip and
nodded, deciding it was time to explain. She unknowingly
tightened her grip of Serenity's dainty hand and made her gaze
fall to the blades of grass tickling their toes, uncertain if
Serenity would run from her. The heartache of that possibility
was almost more than Scelah could bear, but she forced her lips
to form into the proper words, deciding that if Serenity were to
run from her, she would only go after her, find a way to make
her stay. Her bright smile was replaced with a hesitant one as
her softly accented voice escaped her tinted lips, explaining.
       [color=purple]"You see, when I was a young child...my mother
would sing me intricate lullabies. She would place her hand over
my heart..." A daring Scelah moved her free hand to press
lightly to Serenity's bare chest, just like her own mother used
to do to her, her hand still shaky as it pressed lightly against
the glowing skin. "And she would let me feel her singing. The
emotions in her voice stemmed from her own memories, and they
       were so beautiful...The scenery...and you...the combination of
both breathtaking things reminded me of one of my mother's
       favorite memories.."
Scelah allowed her eyes to drift closed as she conjured up her
mother's old memory. It was a sweet, romantic replay of the
happenings of her mother's life, dwelling particularly upon her
father and mother's first meeting. As Serenity and Scelah delved
deeper into the memory, a light, all consuming melody trickled
in the wind. The night was young and the moon lit lazily over
the shore of the endlessly blue ocean, her feet being tickled by
the rising tide of oncoming waves. A sigh left the beautiful
woman's lips, and it seemed that she was haunted by a strange
sort of lingering sadness. It was in the very essence of who she
was, infecting every piece of her with melancholy musings of a
life alone. Her thoughts had carried her into a sweet, sick sort
of humor as she imagined herself being happy for once, knowing
it was just a dream, a dreamer's way of escaping the ever
encasing darkness of reality. Her dreams were interrupted by a
light stroking of her cheek, and her eyes flicked open,
revealing the most handsome man she had ever laid her eyes upon.
Even in the memory, dulled by time and age, sparks flew between
the two beings lighting up the night and showering it with
light. Before the woman could move away from his soft caress, he
pulled his hand away and surprise showed in his face. His husky
voice filled the silence, a melody drifting over the distant
waves. "I thought you...I wasn't sure if you had been sleeping
or...F-forgive me. I was...worried." It was an odd sense of
romance, but it lingered between the two until undeniably so,
the moment escalated into her mothers first kiss. As the memory
faded, a blushing Scelah stood before Serenity, biting her lip
and wondering if she felt the daze lingering around them as she
herself did. Scelah was aware that this would all make no sense,
but she would explain. She would explain until Serenity
       understood.
Finally, Scelah's voice was found again and the melody that had
been so comforting was now only a distant memory. "I would like
to..reveal something. Your heart already knows it, but you
refuse to think it true. You see, beautiful sunshine, my soul
was called into your dream because you needed help. You remember
me and are familiar with me because I visited with you and sat
with you and loved with you in your dream. It was a mess when I
arrived, so I tidied it up a bit, and then just reveled in your
company...I do hope you are not afraid of me now. It is part of
my ability. And conveying memories is another piece of who I
am.." Her words lingered in the air as her hand still pressed to
the glowing skin over her heart, a blush lining her olive toned
cheeks to tint them with color. Her own heart pounded beneath
her skin as she burned a hole in the ground with her gaze,
wondering how the beauty would react and if she would leave her
life forever, leaving a shell of Scelah in her
       wake.[/color][/font]

There are very few stories that speak of goddesses being
outshone in beauty by what could be known as 'common folk'. The
natural assumption of goddesses was that they were perfect
beings, composed of super natural beauty and inhuman capacities.
But, standing before Scelah, Serenity felt that her own beauty
was obviously out matched by this islander; a stranger that
showed up out of nowhere and captured Serenity's attention. So
much so that she had to, in spirit, visit the Mother Goddess to
ensure that she would be making the right decision in perusing
this, what seemed like at the time, a dream figure. So perfect
in elegance, even though she was of a lower class; people that
Rose had warned Serenity about and to never get involved with
because they are only after trivial things. Her wide almond
shaped eyes seemed to bear deeply into Serenity's luminous soul
with little trouble finding the secret of her heart. The way
Scelah's hair laid so lazily upon her back and shoulders, only
managing to be disturbed by the drifting winds that rose from
the force of the falling crystal waters that glimmered brightly,
even in the time of the sun's set. Her body was perfectly
configured, only slightly larger and taller that that of
Serenity's own. So tan, as if her body was kissed over and over
again by the loving kiss of the sun's light, grooming her to be
this spectacular visage of a woman; a goddess in her own right.
The feeling of Scelah's soft hand in Serenity's own sent some
feelings of. . . unexplainable through words, no matter how much
she had to think of them. They just would not come to her in any
sense. It was moments like these that Serenity found the most
awkward. She didn't like it, but loved it at the same time. She
was so afraid to be left again, abandoned like everyone else had
done to her. They would promise being with her, promise staying
by her side without question. Yet, they would vanish just as
quickly as they had appeared. But, trusting the instinct of
Amaya, Serenity would swallow her fears and compulsions and dive
into the deep water head first without looking back. Electricity
connected the two as they touched, Serenity giggling at how much
the shock tickled, though not knowing how it would have felt to
Scelah; a shock that she hoped didn't hurt too much, or at all.
She figured that Scelah would have been startled by the shock,
but that would have only caused Serenity to giggle more if that
would have happened. Soon afterward, Scelah would speak once
more, finally allowing her words to come out through those thick
tanned lips, a seemingly pointless explanation, but Serenity
knew that she had something in store for her.
As she placed her hand upon the bare portion of Serenity's
chest, the Goddess of Light struggled with breath that just
would not escape her. As if the air was all trying to collect at
Scelah's placed hand and embrace it through the glowing flesh,
which at the hand placement, left a small indentation of light
in the shape of Scelah's hand in that same place. Serenity's
heart skipped a beat, nay, a few beats and could have stopped
all together at how the magnetic touch made Serenity feel.
Nodding, the blond felt herself drift off into what seemed like
a dream. The moving playing within her mind as if emblazoned
upon a cinema screen. The images were so raw and vivid, as if
she was standing there watching the scene take place in person,
holding on to the tightly squeezing hand of Scelah as they over
looked the love connection being made before them; it was so
cute! Serenity smiled, placing her free hand against her chest
and linking her fingers with Scelah's as the story before them
unfolded without a single hitch. The young goddess still didn't
understand what this had to do with anything, but it was still
sweet to watch, maybe there was some serious implications that
this scene had to show; some valuable importance to Scelah that
she wanted Serenity to witness. After all, Serenity did show
Scelah her favorite place on the island, so it was only fair
that Scelah did something of the same sort.
The winds changed, though the light spray of mist still coated
their bodies in a sheen of cool moisture as the sun starts to
set even more; the mountain ranges upon the horizon trying to
engulf the bright orange sphere, giving birth to a new night.
Because of this, Serenity knew that it was almost time for the
Heaven's Mirrors to bloom for the night; she couldn't wait for
Scelah to see them! Serenity opened her tri-colored eyes and
allowed them to focus upon the darker beauty, allowing the
fading sun to kiss her face goodnight before she was shrouded in
the darkness that was this area. Serenity's body gave off a
slight glow, which at least illuminated the two a little bit.
The light of the Sun and the glow of the Moon, that was Serenity
and Scelah. The insects soon came out to show off their own
light as well as the glowing fishes and plants. It wasn't quite
time for the Heaven's Mirrors yet, so Serenity didn't bother
mentioning them. Although another distraction came about. .
.Scelah's explanation of how she knows her and what happened.
Serenity's eyes narrowed, the lights from all over; the stars,
moon, plants, animals, and even her own, began to flicker as if
they had a shortage of power, casting the land in complete
       darkness for a few seconds.
Serenity understood now. She started to understand why and how
all of this felt so. . Nostalgic. It was like Scelah had
implanted herself inside of Serenity's mind, but for what.
Serenity pushed away from Scelah with almost a scowl on her
face; her father and mother's tempers crawling over her
features, causing lightning to spark up and down her slender
body. After a few more steps backward, Serenity was about four
feet from Scelah, simply glaring at her as she tried to digest
what she had been told. [glow=red,2,300]"So.. All of this was
fake? You made me feel the way I do for you so that you could
have a chance with me? How fucked up is your life that you would
have to do that to someone?! Why couldn't you just do it the
honorable way..? I was really into you. I showed you my home, I
invited you into my life, and all along, you snuck into all of
that with lies and powers to provoke my heart to fall for you.
You're a slithering fucking snake and I really thought we had a
connection. You just implanted that shit in my head."[/glow]
Serenity snapped , the electrical currents dancing around her
body, causing a bright glow to be emitted from her aura. Her
body, seemed to channel all night outward, so that she was
darker, her eyes and aura glowed extremely
       brightly.[glow=red,2,300]"Fucking bitch"[/glow] Serenity gritted
her teeth as she took another step toward Scelah, lightning
licking and wiping around her. Even the skies bolted with
energy. [glow=red,2,300]"Just. . .Tell me why you did this to
me. Why did you have to be such a devilish mindfucking cunt? I
can't believe how stupid I was for believing that someone so
beautiful, so perfect, could just fall into my lap like you
did.."[/glow]Serenity sighed as the energy pulsed stronger.
[glow=red,2,300]"Just.. Leave.. Before I erase you from
       existence.."[/glow]
