High up in the southern mountains, where the air is thin an a
constant - chilled wind blows - rests a temple where most men
who enter never leave. A temple constructed by father and son,
Wyatt and Tyrael, is hidden by stone and steel. The main
stronghold is surrounded by a barrier of warding which fends off
any evil that may try to enter. With it comes a weighted
feeling, causing anything to not physically become, but hold the
illusion, that it's ten times heavier than it initially was
before entering. Cobblestone pathways lined with torches guide
monks from building to building, and large walls surround the
main, central structure that serves as not only the masters
home, but his personal training grounds and armory.
Wyatt, the master and Sensei of this school of martial arts,
decides who may enter and when they leave. This is his domain,
and none may pass through the barrier unless he has granted them
special permission, a right that only his personal students
have. This is a place of gathering, of learning, and most
importantly, of benevolence. All those without shelter may
reside here, may seek shelter, and may find peace within its
       walls.
       Welcome... to the Mal'Nareth Temple.

It was hard to see. Her eyes were dry like the desert, but
freezing like the arctic. It didn't matter how many times she
blinked her eyes, how much they watered, it froze and dried
right away, just becoming another petulant annoyance up here.
Multiple times as she stumbled into a troublesome snow rift, or
slipped on a patch of ice, she considered giving up and turning
right back around and just leaving once more, she didn't need
this shit! Why the fuck was she even going through this problem,
she was perfectly capable of fighting on her own, she put plenty
bastards in their places and bitches alike, why could she
       possibly need help...
Regardless of her negative thoughts upon the matter, her pride
wouldn't let her quit this one. She wrapped the hoodie further
across her shaking form, her pants already soaked with the
weight of snow around her --she had at least bought somewhat
appropriate apparel for this trip-- and she plowed forward. But
it was getting harder to even move one foot in front of the
other... she had never been around such freezing weather, and
the further she walked the harder it became to breathe --not
like inhaling frosty air smashing into your face wasn't hard
enough-- and Bunny found herself having to stop more often. Come
on, she'd made it this far and she wasn't stopping until she
made it to the top!! Thankfully, there were these strange
lanterns with their flickering textures painting the pathway for
her, even if she could barely see. Maybe she was close...
She was tiring more and more, even for her endurance this was
becoming a daunting task. Her legs ached and her body was
constantly shuddering, she could barely keep her eyes open with
how the wind assaulted them. The wind blew sharpened daggers of
ice against her cheeks which had begun to sting horridly, and
her fingers felt difficult to operate even though they were
buried tightly inside of her pockets. Breathing was harder and
harder, and just as she began to get the slightest glimmer of
hope in making it to the top, something hit her like a lead
       weight all at once.
It physically caused her to stumble and fall onto her knees,
only cushioned by the icy frost beneath her that did little to
please her at this discovery. It was like she couldn't even
fucking support herself! Every time she attempted to stand
upwards, her body just collapsed again into a heavy heap on the
ground. She wasn't even dressed that heavy, but it felt like
someone had set weights on her shoulders, on her legs, on her
own head until she couldn't walk. She sat there on her hands and
knees, her fingers red and impossible to feel at this moment as
she coughed and choked on the weight in her lungs, the low
levels of breathable oxygen this far up having already made her
lose her breath enough. Did she really make it this far to only
get stuck on the fucking walk there? Dammit to hell. She was
seething as she sat there, pissed to the point of where she
would have howled in rage if she had the breath to, if she
didn't fucking move she'd just sit out here and freeze to death!
There was no way that was going to be what put her down!
She'd...she'd fucking crawl if she had to. Which, at the next
failed attempt at standing, she'd begun to do. Dragging her body
along the snow making her limbs lose all feeling, the worry for
frostbite nothing but a faint thought in her mind next to her
pride. She wasn't going to die here, she'd die when she fucking
       made it.

"Right on time..." Wyatt spoke under his breath as he sat behind
a desk with a magazine in hand. On the edge of his mind he could
sense a new presence, a new mind. It was hardened, determined...
he liked it. But it was struggling to make it. The will was
there, but was the strength? He wasn't quite sure. The mentality
that this person had was beneficial to their training. That had
to have been what they were here for, if not that... than they
had no reason to even seek him out. With a heavy sigh, Wyatt
stood up and grabbed his coat from an iron spike in the wall,
heaving it up over his shoulders. He was going to go find them.
Walking around outside for a while, he followed the torch-lit
paths towards the feeling of the struggling mind. His hands
pushed the coat back then slid into his pockets, and he strolled
across the cobblestone paths wile whistling a tune. The past
couple of days had been boring for him, establishing the next
wave of pupils for his temple. It was a taxing process that just
took far too much time. Before too long, he noticed a silhouette
dragging itself across the ground. Wyatt stopped, rose an
eyebrow, and inspected it curiously. It was obviously a person,
and there was no possible way that it was trying to deceive him.
This person was in trouble and he was morally obligated to give
       them aid.
Upon closer inspection, he found that the person on the ground
was a woman. Strangely enough she had the ears of a rabbit
sticking out of her head. This was curious, but he had seen
stranger things. Squatting down before her, with a friendly
smile on his face, Wyatt extended his arm towards her with a
smile. "Do you need help?" He asked, appearing to be completely
unhindered by the atmosphere. "It wouldn't be a problem for me
       at all."

Her breath shuddered against the air, small, faint white clouds
exhaling out with the motions. Bunny wasn't aware if she was
even moving at all. She saw her hands shift against the ground
and the snow parted in her wake, but she couldn't feel it
anymore, everything was numbing to the cold and that wasn't as
good of a sign as she thought. Her hair escaped its confines
beneath the hood and began to messily plaster itself against her
face, coating her line of sight and feeling as if it were
freezing against her cheeks that were becoming chapped by the
wind. She was feeling her energy sap straight out of her body,
as if it were just leaking out onto the ground around her, her
essence of life draining out due to simple exhaustion. How
pathetic could she be that she couldn't even make it to this
       temple...
She felt her hearing dim, becoming a hollow sort of quietness as
her body began to come to a halt, it was crashing down, refusing
to move to her will any longer. Everyone had that will to
survive and persevere, but there were limits to that. A body
could only move on stubbornness and will for so long before it
was out, and that limit was reaching. Quick. Her elbows were
buckled as her body crashed all at once, face-first into the
snow. Aware of the idea of the cold on her face, and the
coldness drowning out into her mouth, she was only able to turn
her head to get some form of oxygen into her lungs between the
breaths of melted snow before a shadow came into her line of
fading vision. At least, she thought. Maybe it was just some
hallucination from the exhaustion that punctured her so quickly,
and this was just some weird image deciding to manifest and toy
with her, but the shadow didn't leave and to add to the effect a
hand slid slightly into her vision. A voice too...breaking
through that fog in her hearing, asking her if she needed
       help...
Something burned inside of her at the offer of assistance. She
tilted her head just enough, enough to look upwards enough into
the face of this being offering her help, seeing the male's face
with the amicable expression as he held out his hand. Through
her bangs glued to her forehead and into her eyes, the
crimson-shaded irises glared with an intensity that could have
melted snow if it manifested itself as fire. This...man, was he
looking down on her? Mocking her for not being able to make it?
Was he just doing this out of pity?! Like hell she'd take his
help. She'd much rather die... But, it wasn't like she was
getting much of a choice. She couldn't move any longer, her body
was shutting down against her will, she couldn't accept or
decline his offer that was meant out of kindness instead of
spite, but in her eyes it didn't matter. All she could do was
sit there, white plumes exiting with every shortening exhale,
the ruby hatred still glaring straight into the face of the man
who could be the last thing she'd see.
