Realm of the Sapphire Moon

A large, dense forest covers the land, made mostly of large oak
trees extending up to three stories high. Inside the forest live
creatures of the night; large, black wolves mostly. All of which
are trained and commanded not to attack any visitors that happen
to stumble upon the land. The cool breeze swaying the trees back
and forth, the sounds of howls can be heard from a distance. A
sapphire colored moon inhabits the sky, always full as it is
always night in the land, as if time were standing still. The
night sky filled with countless stars, lighting the realm.
A small trail inside the forest lead to a large clearing where a
lake shined brightly under the moonlight. Surrounding the lake
were an abundance of tulips and roses that give off a glow,
lighting up the clearing for any traveler wishing to visit and
rest. Upon following the trail, you come across a large metal
gate with two black wolves standing guard. The wolves open the
gate as you walk across, noticing that they bow as you pass by.
You come across large, wide stone steps that take you up to the
entrance to the castle. Upon reaching the large mahogany door
that was the entrance to the large castle, you see a handsome
man standing outside looking down upon the realm. He smiles
softly and bows in respect.
"Welcome to the Realm of the Sapphire Moon. I am your Lord of
Host, Balthier." The man smiled once more, his eyes bearing a
striking resemblance to those of a hawk, also containing a
bright hazel color in them. He had a muscular toned body, tanned
in color. He had long, black hair and small wolf ears coming up
from it. He wore nothing but cloth pants that were held up by a
black waist piece that served like a belt of sorts. On each of
his sides was a sword, one in a black sheath, the other in a
crimson red one. "I do hope that you enjoy your stay here."

It was so dark in this realm. Why was it so dark? Supressing a
shudder, she slips on a special cloak, much like the
Invisibility Cloak in Harry Potter, with one difference. This
particular cloak doesnt make the wearer invisible, but rather
forces any who see it, to look away. It was a handy object to
have. Upon reaching the gates, she steps through and removes the
cloak. Her lime green eyes roam the area and a smirk plays
across her lips. Her hands automatically dust off her black and
white pin-striped dress once she realizes that she is not
alone. Being unsure of the man's feelings, she keeps silent for
the time being.

Balthier watched as the girl walked up his steps. She was quite
curious. He could feel her presence in the realm yet she only
appeared after she had passed his guards. Regardless, it is rude
not to greet one's guests. He smiled softly and bowed at her.
"Well, how are you this evening, Milady? Welcome to my realm."
He smiled and waited for a response from her, wondering what
exactly her reason was for being in this realm.

Keeping her guard up, Boo nods at the man. " Good...whatever
time of day it is to you kind sir. My name is Emannuelle
Britanica Marie Borlynn. Most just call me BooBoo and I would
prefer if you did as well. I find myself lost and sensing an
'interesrting' aura coming from the forest, I slipped my cloak
on, and Im bloody glad I did after getting a look at some of the
things you have out there. Tell me, sir, do you get many
visitors?"

Balthier smiled softly. "Believe it or not, time sort of stands
still in this realm. It is always night and the move never
really moves. There is enough light for one to keep an eye out
if anything might approach them. Your cloak is unnecessary,
though. All the wolves have been taught not to attack visitors
and they are the only predators of this realm. We do get
visitors often, more often than one would imagine considering
the solitude of such a place."

" Well I'll have to take your word for it." Boo smiles at the
man before her, eyes taking in his lean form. With a grin she
spreads the cloak out on the ground and sits down gracefully.
Gathering up her long blonde curls, she secures them in a
perfect ponytail and looks once again to the man, gesturing for
him to sit with her.

Positioning the sheaths of his swords to that they don't move to
much as he sat down, Balthier gladly took the seat beside her.
"So tell me, BooBoo... What is this aura that you feel telling
you? Can you determine what might be emitting the aura in the
forest?"

" Well... I do believe the aura is...you." Boo pauses to let
that sink in. Twirling her hair she looks down and then back at
the man. Locking eyes with him, she continues. " When you fill
up a space with your influence and power and being, it takes on
aspects of you."

"I had a hunch that would be the case." He laughed softly and
looked back at the moon, the glow making his eyes turn from a
hazel to almost silver color from the reflection itself. "My
presence tends to attract unwanted guests from time to time.
People feel that the aura is a power in the forest that can be
obtained. Once they discover me, they try to slay me in the
hopes that they would get my power. It's quite silly when one
sits to think about it momentarily.

Boo nods at his words. " Oh to be sure.. it is quite silly. So
many misunderstand power. It cant be taken, only given
willingly." Boo grins and her mind flashes to her favorite
'exchange' of power, one not fit for pleasant converastion. Her
cheeks betray her as they fill with color.
