For me, toggle switch is the best because it is commonly used
and very useful. The common light switch used in household
wiring is an example of a toggle switch.

we are also using rocker switch but I think it is also best to
use a rotary switch where u can have a switch with many output
       devices or appliances :)

If the switches to the lights, it is better to use rocker
switch. It is the most common of all the switches that are used
at home, but in other appliances that could also be found at
home, toggle switch, potentiometer switches are useful too.

I have been using rotary switch for light in our house. Lights
in the Living room and my room with different voltages. I used
selector switch (or rotary switch?) to vary the voltages of the
lights if I would want it to be brighter or dimmer :)

i disagree that the rocker switch is the best switch for houses
because its too small and it cant even pair with another switch
the best switch for me is the toggle switch because even big
houses use that kind of switch
