The importance of diode in electrical circuit is to flow the
current being regulated to the resistance of the electricity
from ac to dc.. Well if diode will be eliminated there will be
no way to to convert the the alternating to direct current.

Diode is a component that is always present in an electronic
circuit board because it converts dc to ac and vice versa
without it i don't think an appliance will work properly or if
it will ever work with its absence.

Maybe there are other devices or components that rectifies, we
are not that much familiar.
