       external combustion electricity generation

I had this idea for a electricity generator. (kind of like a
rocket stove, boiler, steam engine, , and pma....minus the
boiler and steam engine) kind of a solar updraft tower w/o the
       sun.
Basically its a inverted cone about 10 ft diameter, with the
air supply port ringed with multiple horizontal axis turbines or
one large squirrel cage vawt. build a fire in the center and
the electricity is generated from the draw. Pma's could be
single phase units wired in parallel. there would be doors to
tend the fire and remove ashes.
       happy thanksgiving. :)

A jet turbine works on this principle, sort of. It will take a
lot of fire to make a substantial draft in your concept drawing.
If you flip this upside down it reminds me of the German
Christmas decoration where the Angels go around tinging little
bells due to the upward draft from candles.
       Merry Christmas
