       @ lynx @ ness....after close inspection ,i see a very thin red
small thread of wire that connects each mosfets screw....stops
just short of the last 2 mosfets near the ground side.... thin
wire may have been broken in a parallel wiring?last wo are not
       on wire..
       fuse is fine. 20 amp
wiring looks fine still do not know where the short is coming
from....transformer looks like it got hot but says ok this dose
       look used?
are these new or used lynx?

they are inside the house in a humidity controlled environment
no contamination is present ..i posted pictures of the set
up.....very well, i do not fool with things, i do not
       understand!
i will take it to a repair shop..as i suspect it is something
more than the thin broken red wire..my 1000 watt pure sine
converter came with a two year warranty good company my solar
       MPPT is the same..

here is what the other side looks like like same wire an looks
like two mosfets missing or could be for large 500 watt GTI

The thin red wire as you say is hot melt adhesive to lock the
mosfet screws. It's not wire. Sorry there is no guarantee. I
have had two fail. Ness might be able to give you insight in
what to look for. Most likely it is a blown capacitor or one or
       more mosfets.

       @hgl
They are not mosfets that are missing...they are diodes....Maybe
because its a 110v model or they have upgraded the 4 to the left
of your 1st picture, Nothing to worry about on that score.
If any of the mosfets blow it usually either blows the 12v fuse
(20/30amp) or it would blow out the small mains fuse (usually a
small round red thing). Seems your mosfets are ok so I would
look at the 4 mosfets on the right of your last picture and
check that the steel tabs on the mosfets are not in contact with
the heatsink...check the heat insulation for possible damage.
It is hard to explain but easy to check.
Just to clarify....None of the tabs on the diodes or the mosfets
should be in contact with the heatsink.

thanks @ness.. i will check it over ...i have a student major
in electronics going to go over it with me i'am a novice an bit
gun shy with electricity..still learning.. when it come to
complex circuits an no schematic drawings to reference the GTI
too, that scares me.. i will have to do some digging..company
could not be reached must be a schematic somewhere.......... i
have the drawing an a Manuel for setup thats all..it says to
feed + an - from panel to GTI an then to wall plug...
@ lynx an @ness.. i have solar panel leads to battery an then 6
ga wire from battery to GTI then 110 v plug to house ... no
difference voltage is still 12v actually better ....you can run
it longer off battery ...when it gets darkan solar shuts down..
it is still 14,2v then in morning it is 12.7.an the day
       repeats..charging /feed cycle can be 12/7.
