Hi, thanks for the info. My monotube boiler will not produce
enough PSI to run a turbine, plus I do not have the tools or
skills to fabricate a turbine. I hoping for low RPM with high
torque. Started work on the new crank shaft. Thanks again for
the info.

Hi, not my work but I found some nice drawings and short video
of a opposed piston and how it is connected to the cranks shaft.

very clear now. i like the design. wish i had software like that
to do animations.
are you going to change your design after so much effort?

Hi, the valve rods are binding . I have to add a conventional
crank shaft. This will solve a lot problems and allow for a
double fly wheel configuration. Now that I have all the tools I
need it should be working in about a week. The design is a OPOC
or Brouke engine. Not sure if it will be single or double power
stroke. If single I will have to use a cam on the PMA for 50%
duty cycle output, I did read pulse charging is better for the
batteries. Comments welcome.

Its amazing how slow things work at times. Money, politics, etc.
Also lawsuits due to supposed patent infringement. It can be a
real downer.

Hi, not sure what the patent was for but they used opposed
piston engines on the Liberty ship during WW2.

twiced the piston surface area twice the torque, shot stroke,
high RPM, it should work well with the mono tube boiler
a few more parts fabricate but everything is straight forward
