Hi, I have been reworking the cylinders and solving some work
holding issues. I should have something to show in about a week.
       Thanks for the inquiring.

Hi, I found a interesting example from the 1930's. The idea has
       been around for a while.

I think we both could use a good machine shop or at least a
friend to make stuff that requires one.

Hi, I just received the last item needed to complete the
       project.

It took awhile to accumulate all the tooling and work holding
items. I hope to have a working project soon. Thanks for keeping
       me focused.

Hi, It is now warm enough and the new tools I needed have
finally arrived, so I am continuing to fabricate version two of
       the scotch boxer.
Basically the same as version one.

Hi, started flywheel. 1"x 3.75". The cast iron weights were just
not working for me. I hope it is large enough to past the
pistons and valves past the dead spots.

Great work....as usual. Do you have drawings of the finished
product? I can 't wait to see it work.

Hi, basically it is the same as version 1. The only difference
is I combined the valve block with the cylinder block into one
piece. It is easier to fabricate. No drawings at this time. All
the measurements are related to the piston stroke. The hardest
part is drilling the holes in the right spot. ::) I should have
a test run in a few days using compressed air..... Thanks for
       the support.
