Hi, thanks. The first few will be a little rough. I completed
the last scotch yoke and the pistons.

Viewed your video...NICE!
Do you think the "yoke" (is that what its called?) being open at
the top will cause it to spread open over time? In other words
it's U shape, would rectangular shape be better?
How did you get the close tolerances between the piston and the
cylinder?

I fabricated the scotch yoke both ways. Not sure how well the
rectangles will work. Time will tell. I still have to order some
more tools so I can fabricate the parts with precision. Starting
with a truly square part is critical.

Hi, video shows manual operation using a 10 weight as a
flywheel. I have to remove some knocks, fabricate the spool
valve, and run the steam lines. It is not much to look at and I
am making a lot of mistakes but the design is forgiving and I am
able to correct the mistakes. It is a finger cruncher. :)

Awesome! Great work. It already sounds like a steam engine.
Insulate those cylinders at some point. And you will probably
spend some time timing the valves which is the fun part.
