Hi, Happy New Year!!!
Starting the year I still making tests. Today we have a
sustained 6 Mph south wind. I changed the location of my wavt to
avoid some trees blocking the path of the wind. Of course is nor
the final location nor the best one. With this wind I get
5Volts, still waiting for a decent tachometer.

I cannot find in Europe the 2x1x.25 magnets, I´m using 12
magnets (6x2) 40x20x10 mm neo n42 and one ball bearing instead
bearing in the plans. Pole is an TV-antenna pole.

Go higher.
Why does the wing look wrinkled in the video?

A fix for trailing edge wing delamination

Hi Folks,
To prevent trailing edge delamination on the paper/fiberglass
wing design, try epoxying a tight "V" strip of aluminum flashing
over the trailing edge. A one inch strip, bent in half
transversely to form a 1/2" x however long "V", works well.
Smooth it in with some light weight micro balloon and resin
filler and you are good-to-go!

Hi Bassman: They does not look wrinkled, they ARE wrinkled.
Quick and dirty construction and "novice at work" with
fiberglass.
I wanted to have it up and running before Xmas holidays, so I
was in a hurry. At home again, I will rebuild with the foam core
because I cannot find aluminum flashing locally.
The original idea was learning and, thanks Lynx Wind, I,m
learning a lot (So I think).
Also, it is not easy to find some components locally, like
tubing for bearings, so I moved to a bottom ball bearing. Not
100% happy (Turbine shakes at start). In Spain, plumbers works
with inches but mechanicals and other work with metrics
measures. It´s very hard to find pieces fitting one in each
other.
Thanks all for your support, very kindly.

@ Miguel the shaking at start is normal at least mine does it
also and then again just before it goes into lift . did you
balance it before you put it up ? If not you can take it down
and see if its out of balance or leave it up and try and place a
1 oz weight on one of the rotor arms out by the wing and see if
it gets better or worse then try the next arm till you get it to
your liking

Yes SUT, it is already balanced. Like you said, at start and
going into lift it shakes a little.
I cannot believe how performs this artifact. An amazing
engineering work by Lynx.
Thanks, Miguel

Try bolts from different manufacturers. They are different.
The only part of the bolt that has to be a exact size is the
thread.
Even metric sizes should be tried.
You could even try a bronze bushing at the top of the brass
tube.
