Update from India: 220V Problem solved
By: amit roy Date: June 19, 2016, 10:47 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Hi Guys, Further update from my side.
I was tired of getting the 220v LED bulb getting lit from the
original circuit of LaserSaber or Lynx.
Some bulb will lit some won't.
I tried all sort of winding proportion but was not getting the
result. the bulb which lit was also somewhere around 60-70%
light intensity compare to getting it lit from the mains.
Than I put a DC-DC booster circuit. Man, it is now litting all
sort of 220V led bulb and light intensity is more than what I am
getting from mains!
Ofcourse now I am consuming more current from the battery but
the booster circuit is configurable.
Now I am happy with the performance.
Also I used the same booster circuit with Rene-ReEMF charger and
it charged the 7ah 12v SLA with initial SOC of 50% to SOC of 90%
within 4 hrs of sunlight with 20W of solar panel.

Hi Ethan, Sorry for not posting the video. Was busy with
upgrading the Lynx SJR. BTW I have posted the new schematic in a
different thread.
