From India: Finally able to light 3x 220v 7W LED within 600mA cu
rrent input

I posted this earlier on "anything ..." forum. But I guess this
is the right forum.
Hi to All,
After lots of struggle and getting some help from Lynx, I am
finally able to lit 220V 7W LED bulb without any flickers.
I wound ~24 turns primary and around 70 turns of secondary with
0.8mm magnet wire on 4"D air core.
Than copied the schematic of Lynx but it failed. The LED bulbs
was flickering. Than I added two ferrite cores and I can lit
upto 3 7W 220V LED bulbs under 600mA of input current.
Next thing and suggestion needed on battery charger:
After lots of googling I zeroed down to three charger circuit
1) Rene-ReEmf:
Pros: Efficient. No drawback of radiant charger
Cons: Need higher volts battery than the one which is to be
charged.
2) Stingo By Suchayo:
Pros: Remove the impact of radiant charging. Can charge from
low voltage input compare to the battery need to be charged.
Cons: Un-efficient. Inventor claims around 60% efficiency.
3) LynxBooster:
Pros: Booster circuit. Can charge from low input votlage
Cons: Not talked about much in any forums.
Can you experts pls suggest which one I should go for keeping in
mind that the input will be from solar panel or from tubine
where the voltage generated by these sources can vary and can be
lower than the battery to be charged.
Thanks for your inputs.
Rgds
Amit

Finally I zeroed down to Rene-ReEMF charger. Super efficient,
very fast charger. Never make the battery to become a capacitor.
The short coming of Re-EMF charger was solved by putting a
buck-boost converter in front of it so that it can accommodate
the variable resistance solar panel.
The problem with the Lynx charger is that it is some sort of
radiant charger and with only one diode can make a battery as
capacitor. I got this lesson from suchayo.
Suchayo tried to solve both the problem of Rene charger. He is
using a joule thief and a full bridge rectifier in his radiant
charger. But doing so he sacrificed the efficiency.
Rene ReEMF charger is the winner.
I charged 10AH/35AH/ SLA. It was badly abused by brute force
discharge to 4V. This charger in flat 4-5 hrs charge it back to
OCV of 12.6V(measurement done after 6hrs of sitting)

I'm not familiar with turning a battery into a capacitor.
Please explain.

Can you explain turning a battery into a capacitor?

I am not an expert still trying.
I guess what suchayo saying that it is not holding anymore
charge whereas the terminal voltage shows SoC as 100%.
So the capacity has decreased and also you must be aware that
terminal voltage does not really tells you the capacity. It is
the charge counter which will tell the capacity.
