Full potential solar

I have often wondered if there isnt a better way to draw power
from solar panels. There is a new company in Georgia, usa , that
is incorporating mppt right into the panel itself. They claim
that even if they have partial shading , they can still get a
significant amount of energy from the panel. They also claim
they can run a three phase electric motor directly from the
panel! Well what if we take this a step further, and mount the
panels on a rotating base of a large diameter and draw the power
off the center shaft?

As far as I know there is only 2 ways to wire them series or
parallel series increases volts parallel increases amps

Hi Sut: I was not talking about getting more power out versus
the sun, but by means of mechanical advantage. Think of mounting
the solar panels on a large merry-go-round, the panels on the
outer perimeter would drive a/c motors attached to gear
reducers. the whole inner circle would have panels that would
charge batteries. And by using a low speed low torque alternator
on the center shaft, one could take advantage of the huge
mechanical leverage from the middle.

I have drawn a quick sketch of the device

Ah! now I understand but wouldn't the power being used to turn
the unit be more than you could produce with the alt ?

Wouldnt it take less power to aim a mirror?

HI SUT: Lets say we have a 22 ft. diameter platform, Ihave at my
disposal 2,640 watts , there are 746 watts per horse power. So I
have 3.5 HP to turn the platform. My target rpm is 60. So if I
use a .75 HP motor ( 3 phase AC) with a gear motor attached to
each motor. four equal places around the platform. My AC motors
turn at 1750 rpm reducing that to 60 rpm through the gear
reducer gives me29:1 ratio. At the center shaft I will have a
12" dia. sprocket, and on thr alternator a 1.5" dia. sprocket.
so my mechanical advantage from outer edge of platform to the
12" sprocket is 10 to 1. so if I can incorporate the full 3.5 HP
at the outer edge, I will get 35 HP in the center. How many KW
can I generate with 35 HP after mechanical losses? More than my
initial input of 2640?

I dont think youll gain anything by this setup. If i see the
drawing correctly , you have solar panels around in a circle,
on a turntable, that rotates with the sun? Some are facing the
other way? Why not face them all the same direction? Then have a
small tracker on each mount?
The mirrors would reflect the sun on the panels.

HI Ethan: I dont quite follow about the mirror, where do I put
the mirror?

The sun rotates the platform! Ethan If you have an 11Foot lever
in your hands and your fulcrum is 1 foot in from the end, how
much weight could you lift? At least a 1000 lbs right? Now
instead of lifting suppose you push on the lever and your 1000
lb. weight was on wheels?
