Crossover Circuit for 220 v LEDs

Some time back I was experimenting with a circuit that Laser
Saber and Gadget Mall were showing. Gadget saw a source voltage
increase while under load. Laser showed lighting a bulb off a
capacitor. I redrew the circuit to light a single LED and
demonstrate the source voltage increase. Its a touchy circuit
but fun. I could dimly light an LED for weeks with no voltage
drop on source.
This may be a good candidate to develop for our 220v
international friends. Can run off low voltage.
My circuit went off to Professor Jones for "over unity" testing;

The first diagram shows Gadget's mods, the second diagram are my
mods not intended for lighting large bulbs.
Might be a fun design to develop. I would recommend the 2n3055
with a 2N2222 so you can do useful work.
