boiler modifications: added steam drum, using air compressor
pump as fresh water feed pump
hope to test in a few days then I can start to insulate

As always " a work of art".
Have you thought about using a water heater pressure relief
valve? I think they let go at 150 psi.
I see these pressure gauges used, are they for steam? or can you
use one normally used for garden hoses, for (water pressure) ?

Hi, the gauge is for air. I do not have the experience to give
advice about anything that is steam. If I can it to run I plan
to run it as much as possible and then report if anything
       brakes.
I am keeping the fire small until I see how the system works.
The pressure valve is set to trigger at 110 psi, when it
triggers I will immediately open the output bypass valve. I am
using hydraulic hoses that are rated at 4000 psi with a max temp
of 400 degrees F. I am hoping the steam drum will increase the
run time and help keep water from entering the engine.

Hi, I completed the boiler modifications and did a test with a
small fire. 10 psi max. It never created enough steam to run the
engine. The steam drum increased the surface area that has to be
heated. It has to be insulated and I need a larger fire. The new
water pump works a lot better, I could hear the water enter the
boiler when the boiler was at 10 psi. One thing I found
surprising was the oil pan of the engine was filled with water.
I think it is from a previous test. I am starting fabrication
       of a larger stove.

Hurry............. the snow is coming. Very cold in Michigan
       today. ;D
P.S. Where do I get a good description of a "rocket stove"?

Hi, interesting rocket stove, it shows how it should work. :)

Hi, I completed modifications to boiler. The new water pump
works a really well. I replaced the fire box with a 6 inch
diameter and added a fan. Now when the fan is on there is a 2
foot flame. I added a steam drum but it well have to be modified
because it is acting as a condenser. I have to run the tank
drain to the bottom of the standing tube through a check valve.
This should increase the pressure, if not I will to remove the
steam drum. I still have to insulate the system. Not sure what
to use as insulation and suggestions are welcome.

How about "rock wool" as insulation?

       good to 750 degrees C
My question is: After supplying power to pumps and fans is
       there any power gain?
