Been thinking about a simple Buck system by using a 555 timer
chip to create a PWM signal which would feed a high side driver
to drive a mosfet/coil and diode which could be dialled in to
suit a higher voltage turbine to stop the stall situation. Not
tried this concept but it could be a useful piece of equipment
       if the turbine does stall.
One of the main problems is the high side driver to fully switch
       the mosfet....Any ideas ?.

Hmmm Yea that should work, 555 on the turbine side with a zener
holding the chip down from exploding.
I forgot about the higher input voltage which could be
       used....Thanks cg.
