2 new arrays more efficient small one feeds where ever i need
power this is for the garage..second one is more stable an feeds
       houe an GTI with wind..power

@ Hgl wouldn't you be better off just having all 3 panels
together producing more amps feeding one set of battery? or is
it that the mobile cell puts out less power and you don't want
it to draw down two matched panels. I am just curious, I made a
small solar cell panel by soldering the cells together and
enclosing them in a frame, boy they are thin and easy to break

sut they are tempered glass like auto very strong 6061 aluminum
frame encapsulated in epoxy resin with backing quality ... i had
many on a pole... but my azimuth design it's to weak for 3
panels or more 100 lbs max..now with 2 it is strong.. to much
weight an mass with strong wind would shutter an fold so. i
redesigned it an packaged it for quality, easy
maintenance..preppier ready will travel or permanent which mine
are...they have to be cleaned maintenance is easy... i do not
want it on roof no can do... some areas in snow belt will not
allow it on roof i'm handicapped ..no sun no power! i'am
producing plenty of watts/amps with MPPT charger 100 ' run an
volts to charge my battery banks charge fine an i can still
dump power using GTI just with the 2 panels.. "the nucleus "hub
is the battery bank you can have a few or 20... but you need to
store the energy... this can be doubled into 24v array or
parallel 12v which i run.... i prefer 24v but then you have
to step down on most applications ...as they are 12 v appliances
       an apps.
220 is the best but our grid is not set up for 220 shucks
i like the fact that my one single (mononcrystalline) is best
it is compact ,my mini mobile is strong an powerful have tied
downs 25 year warranty on all solar panels i can not find the
MFG anymore... i have a few projects that i did an have applied
       for pattens

       @ cg your right!
i went with Moncrystaline as choice just for that reason...do
they make such an item my panels are very large

       @sut i get 5.75 -6 amp 100 watts per panel in parallel that's
200 watts an 12 amps an growing.. on a single panel with PWM
charge controller i get 6 amps an 100 watts on two batteries
gives me 12 which is sufficient.. it varies from 8-12 hrs. on a
80' run 10 ga 7 strand copper buried an fused
i loose some efficiency but my MPPT charge controller makes up
for loss 1st i get 12- hours of sun light an battery bank is
topped of in a few hours 14.22 Trojan 130 ah 180 lbs
       batteries...
with the single mobile panel i get just as much on shorter run
...an i can use it anywhere with less run... cable run an 12 ga
wire 2 batteries..now i have some big AGM gell sealed battery's
i want to tie to the turbine an see how they preform
maintenance free as is my marine battery it is on know which i
put a strain running a fan threw threw a 1000 watt pure sine
inverter playing with @ness booster....an i have a marine deep
cycle hooked to the wind mill now..
then i have mini amp hour 12-24 v emergency light power
       batteries. 10-min - 20 ah
for the seasonal pattern we are in which is growing season...
light wind lots of sun solar is out preforming by 75% i expected
that, now when fall/winter /spring/ comes it will increase by
75-100 percent as we get more high wind an sun combined.. as
for cooling panels its not worth the trouble @CJ i just have
good mononcrystalline is the way to go looks like i will be
making some 250 watt panels prices have jumped its catching on
fast......my panels can take the heat..they where designed for
that..just cleaned them yesterday an they where dirty..
i want to start a small wind an solar business..tough market it
got a bad rap in the 70's but efficiency .technology,an
performance has improved threw the decade drastically..its just
trying to prove it to clientele ..
       hgl hope that helps..
