that's fine lynx ..i was going to chase threads an what little
an re tape straight threw.. but will drill straight threw.. no
vibration..how do you know it balanced is there an vibration as
the pole at the bottom has a little play.. an i want to hit that
mag plate with another coat of Rust-Oleum is that all ok to
do..just keep every thing taped an clear tape from over spray..

@ lynx 175 pole is planted as per your diagram an documentation
request.. @sut there is is still a bit of play on the brighter
side all the air foils an parts are doneexcept strap an blade
tips.. in the inside pipe a better pole design is needed maybe
jmho.. even after cross pinning..so i think another pin might be
needed i may make a sleeve or tape around pipe inside an out
       make a rubber grommet?
i may be wrong..it is not all the way tight yet either..but
here are the pics plum squared an level.. my son helped me do it
today..boy we had the wind 25 mph an gusty ....how did the 175
do today @sut? i will begin the complete build an installation
process.. next week lord willing an the creek don't rise ...rain
in the forecast..hope the wind mill .. the curse has not begun?
@ lynx as i had mentioned the wire harness an boost wire circuit
is short are these just test leads material from the 175 gull
alternator testing? needs to be extended? to be place inside
the house? how do you stop the turbine?switch in the neutral
position of the boost circuit which is to stop the turbine
       dead kill in high winds..

Looks good. You will see what I mean about the turbine looking
out of proportion on the 1.5" pole. That's why I mentioned
clothing it with a large diameter PVC tube. I don't know how
loose your 1.5" is in the 2". This is just for testing so
whatever you need to do is fine.
The rectifier boost circuit is intended to get you started. I
would run a long cord from your turbine to an indoor location,
splice the cord to the two yellow AC connections on the boost
rectifier. Run the Red and Black leads to a battery. The wire
is 12 or 14 awg and good for 10-15 amps. You could solder
heavier wire on if you like. The switch is three way -
run/center open/stop Make sure you know what position the
switch is in. You don't want the turbine to be unloaded in high
       winds.
The only time I use the stop switch is if I need to make some
change and it's windy. The only other time would be if there is
a tornado and you worry the wiring isn't heavy enough to carry
       the amps.
You can also run two cords from the stator (four wires) and
parallel or series indoors near your rectifier. This makes
       testing and changing voltages easier.

Well by the time I got my new mount in ground and windmill back
up on pole the wind had slowed down! (grr) I had taken some
video of it spinning but it was of such poor quality I will not
post it . I took some pictures of it on pole and are below, one
of the pictures show the tilt mount that @ CG suggested .I need
to drill new holes in pole and drop it down a little but I
wanted to try and catch all that wind

       @lynx thx
your correct this is experimental .. the little play is no
issue it can be resolved, simple solutions..it is at the top...
i get a little clatter another pinned bolt i doubt it... my son
suggested hard foam wedged in the very top, an taped it will be
covered with pvc skin.. i suggested a homemade gasket .. a
fact, i have a hose i can make cut an tuck.. it fit into top
...just keeping kit cost down.. an following protocol.. yes, i
did think of you suggestion on wiring always good to check... i
have many ideas... but this is simple inexpensive an has me up
       an all most running.
this EMT pole is heavier gauge than my solar than Allied
galvanized, an much cheaper... by more than half the price..this
is what i will use from now on a single 1 .5 " pole is all i
       need 12$ verse 60$

staying in line with lynx pole mount idea... i made a few
modifications redesigned, pole so everything is snug as a
bug..one solid 3"pipe with cap.. looks very proportionate for
the mast pole with buried wires inside an a cap to boot or
water poof an easy maintenance....all ready for wiring
now..taking time to do it right..pole connection an
       mounting..300' of wire 150 ' x 2 times..runs to the house an
       24-7 monitoring system..
