the wings an now 4 sets of former :-\... i said i talked to DAP
an they said it takes along time to dry.well i'm still waiting..
so in the mean time i bought the pipe an had extra flashing an
       former's.. you said to get..sut to help he has..an said i don't

dimensions an am going to use goop like sut said.... as you told
me he was the man an he said there are a many products.. i even
told him.. i would buy them from him.. but i want to try an make
some...! unless you have other ideas an plans i'm sticking to my

       Happy,
My bad, I just grabbed some seam sealer. SUT may have shown me
some very specific seam sealer. I hate to say this, but I would
scrape it all off and ask SUT what he used or do like CG and I
would do and use Goop. Goop is really tough and will dry in a
       couple hours.
SUT - where are you man? We need you!
i talked to sut after that we have been in correspondence ..an
he was an is very helpful has been nothing but a great help..i
have GOOP that's what he said to use he is the wing man..lynx..
i made a comment about another adhesive to you... an sut even
said ...it is an experiment so rather than tear apart the wing..
i just left them thy are still curing glued an taped..the way
they are an have been was letting the dry cure an asked him to
help me build another set ...i have material..an am a carpenter
among-st many other things ..i have my break back... i have done
an do siding..,an i even said to sut if it dose not work which i
do believe it will... i have the right GOOP ;D he said to use..
i said i would buy a set from him..confirm it with him he is a
       great man..thanks sut..

very true @cg i respect everyone's..opinions.. thought about
your design for access.. very good design.
but i said ...lynx is in charge its his plans an projects i made
a promise an vow to keep it....i would follow Lynx plans to the
detail an document the build... on his diagram/print... he shows
two pins in emt threw bottom 2" an two section at top 1.5" an I
using a 3" 1/4-20 bolts parallel is what he showed...
       still doing it lynx way!

Yes I understand @lynx pole setup and with it cross pined your
right it will take out wobble and If lynx has done it I know
there is nothing to worry about ! One disadvantage with @CG
idea on pole setup is it makes a little more challenging to add
bigger PVC pipe over it to make is more size appropriate but
when you get the windmill up 10' I don't think its needed it
       looks great up there

I am still in the experimental and testing phase of the design.
My main concerns are the new blades, the new alternator, parts,
cost, performance. My suggestion on the pole was to get the
VAWT up and running with minimal cost and trouble. I don't
cement in the 1.5" pole. If you do, it's pretty much there
unless you cut it off. Two bolts at 90 degrees and tightened
will do very well for testing. Wobble only comes in when the
VAWT is turning below tsr 1. If the alternator is setup
correctly that only happens in very low winds when there is
little force, or when a strong gust hits. Even then it is
       momentary.
I think happy has too much confidence that this is all figured
out and perfected. Maybe it is. That's where the "go lucky"
       part comes in.

when installing my newest pole here ! I didn't find it till I
turned them on for the first time this year and had water
spewing up out of the ground (easy fix ) but miss dig will not
locate that for you lol ( I just thought it was a root )

Set coupler on pole. Drill through completely both holes and
insert two 1/4"-20 bolts. Tighten. The set screw will not hold
against torque. Remove the set screw. Do not rely on the
threads on the coupler - drill through it as a guide.
