Was not sure where to put this but fits the best ! Just a
couple of tricks I have learned to make assembling of this type
of windmill 1. after you have all parts made and are going to
slide on the wings to the rotor over the spars I have found it a
task to say the least ! trying to get the spars through the top
holes is a hit and miss thing so to make it a little easier. I
put a short piece of rubber hose 1/4 or 3/8 in diameter and 3
inches long over 1 of the bolts on the spar so it hits hole
first, once you have it coming out of 1 hole the next one is
easier to find in that dark hole (make sure it does not come off
in the wing or you will spend a long time trying to get that
piece of rubber hose out of wing, I know !)
2. take the nozzle off the goop tube, (I do that when gluing
the formers in ) it comes out a lot easier and also warm up the
tube in the sun that also makes it flow easier

thanks @ sut i just took a day off ....let things settle an dry
an listen in on the sator build.... an take care of other
neglected duties..i used same adhesive your experimenting with i
have used it before good stuff..i have had it on my house for 25
years. just don't remember it being so hard to get out of tube..
i use quad too... for window trim ....wall side comes Friday get
some free bending ..have to cut it away too..best to let it
dry..i will try your advice..
@ sut did you make aluminum air foils for the 75?..i could do
the pin an string trick to measure the former for sheet size..
unless you have a dimension you can email me..for sheet size on
75 airfoil to cut an bend .. would be much thanks much thanks..
