       I now have a strong box section with the mill and a strong
       connection/drive between mill and alt....
       I have also included wingends to the blades....
       I still need to do a final glassing....then balancing to the
       mill....but everything looks good[img][/img]

       this is the 2 machined flats on the threaded areas of the alt
       shaft that I was trying to describe....there is one on the
       bottom and top of the horizontal timbers...[img][/img]
