When @LW made the DIY project you got plans that were very good
at explaining all of the steps that were needed to make his diy
75. So when he gets his new DIY project completed and tested I
am confident it will be of the same great quality.

@ HGL......You are in the diy section....
Lynx has a diy 75 turbine plans for sale at a very good rate
that gives you all the info to construct a 75w turbine.
Go to his main page and you will find it.....This is the follow
up on the turbine.
Hope this helps.

Guys, I'm working on it. Super busy all of a sudden. Four big
big projects all at once. A large wind installation, a partner
overseas company, and two steam projects.
The best way to proceed with the new Seagull 200 is for me to
get the drawings out to you for the parts you will cut from
plywood, so you can start getting them cut, sanded and painted.
SUT will make the blades, then I will send out the magnets,
coils, blades and hardware to SUT, Nessprojects, and a German
company.
Then we need to test, critique and make any changes. In the
meantime, the Seagull 75 is available as well as the Gull 160
and 40.
Also - the 12 magnet rotor lends itself to working as a single
phase or a 3 phase design with a small change. That may be a
fun option.

Interesting thought @CG, I had given this some thought a while
back but came to the conclusion that the more the current flows
the more it would pull the magnets to the
stator....Hmmm.....Interesting.

Did the suggested optimal thickness of the 75's rotor plate
remain 3/8ths or get upped to 1/2" ply? I am planning on
building another 75, but four foot blades and a scaled down 175
profile. When new alt plans are finished ill try a 175 on a 75's
diameter. Thoughts?

@CG i have had bad luck with..gorilla glue swells with moisture
jmho
titebond 2 i is good...will not swell or separate weather proof
..this stuff is great..for bow makers or laminating wood cheaply
an then sealing with a resin.. i have 1-2 year old dry
staves..ready for cutting/ laminating making bows if i ever get
to them ...waiting on some Osage .. i have to make a few for
some friends...make a mold an use EA-40.. mold under pressure...
my wood is seasoned for 1-2 years now its ready... cut an split
then seasoned, maple ,hickory, black locust an honey
locust..Osage when i can get it local...
the best stuff to use is

but there are all kinds of resins an adhesives.. for the DIY
projects..
