Fantastic job sut, love the big brother/little brother photo ;D
Just a query on whether the strap was the closest you could get
it on the rotor arms to the centre without getting in the way of
the pma on the underside ?.
       Good luck with the testing.

@ NP no I could go further out (closer to stator ) I didn't have
enough strapping to place it closer, I wanted to get it in the
       wind
@ CG time will tell on placement on front spar I didn't know
where he put it so I made a judgment call
@ HGL I am not sure on weight but I know its a lot harder to
place on pole! sometime I will weigh it
@LW can you believe it NO wind here just rain its that 1 week
       thing on new windmills!!
Thx everybody on complements on build, but all credit goes to
Lynx Wind he designed! it I just followed his instructions
(building his diy 75 first helped a lot)

No I did not , I just used big fender washers (not shown in
       pictures )

Just a FYI I have found a small problem with the pole, its to
short ! with the windmill having a longer wing on it its closer
to the ground . I have a 10' pole 3 foot in ground that leaves
       7' above - the 2'wing =5' above ground . I will use my
1'mechanical couplings and black pipe which fit pretty good
inside of the emt to extend it back up to a safe height.

@HGL I don't think so but I was not here all day but its still
       standing LOL
@CG wow strange! it didn't bend the EMT looks like the tower
got pulled out of the ground

Forget the beers....Did the turbine survive ?.
Its just payback for lounging about on the beach...LOL.
As long as no one was hurt....Everything else can be
repaired....Strong winds are kind of scary and it tends to be
flying objects that cause most of the problems.
Good luck with the tower re-build.

@ hgl my guess is a one piece rotor is slightly better if you
can get it out of your door. What's the 1 piece of? Solid wood?
Marine grade ply? And are you using two rotors? for two vawt or
       one. How tall?
@cg my condolences. good excuse to +100
       @sut great build
@lynx very commendable how open source your doing this. Always
love your designs. I Ihave one with the through blade bracket if
       you can believe it .

@ otis..i agree it is stronger, can always be cut.. thinking of
a stacked dual stator 3 phase / google :magnet repulsion
suspension bearings... both rotor systems will levitate free
spin.. if you can imagine...no load bearings .. dad an i worked
it out year's ago, i was a kid.. that's why i was asking about
weight an synthetics air foil efficiency, i have a few other
designs... my material -it is high #1 -7 ply 3/4 laminate
sanded one side..still have an idea's will stick with single
phase for now.... an have a symmetrical look in yard like
lamp post discrete ... i'm making 2-3 separate units ,I can fit
threw my doors with ease..no problem old house ... sticking to
plan but ready to go....another way thx for asking..

Sounds exciting I'm here in the Bay Area
Can't wait to hear more about your results with the new blades
Make sure the turbines can resist a lot of torque
       Have fun be safe!
