Hmmm.... I am kind of worried about 1/2 Kg of wing flying round
at 300 to 600 rpm. That thing will be generating a lot of
centrifugal forces....Good luck with the test but please think '
       Safety first '.
Sorry I retract the weight problem due to the fact I have just
checked the weight of an earlier blade that I built and that
came out at 1.8kg. It was a 40" long blade and 36" diameter made
with 1" square steel box and foam blades. It ended in a total
dramatic disaster.....I watched it sheer the steel and fly off
at a great speed of knots.
It also bent a steel scaffold pole due to the imbalance...Very
       scary.

@NP Yes safety is of the utmost importance ! I am confident on
this design that it will hold up (I thought I was wrong once but
I was mistaken LOL) Time will tell, real life is the best
teacher! I think 3/4 inch plywood is a bit over kill with the
3/4 " formers but I have not been doing this as long as LW and I
do respect his judgment on this .

Looks very nice. Do I need to adjust the angle between rotors
so they meet flush with some wiggle room? They look tight in
       the middle.

Yes there are some issues but minor! holes out of alignment for
drilling 1-3/8 radius I will show you when we meet and
       explain.(will bring rotor )

       Happy,
I am thinking that the DIY 175 will be an alacarte design. If
someone doesn't want to wind coils, cut plywood, make an
alternator, find spars or make blades they could buy what they
need. Otherwise the plans will be out there and someone could
scratch build the whole thing. There is a lot of work,
experimenting and testing in this design so venturing too far
off course will probably hurt performance.

       @ sut
Them there blades look great, Are they powder coated because
they don't look like standard aluminium ?.
Its all coming together. Great work. got a new name for your
       blades " SutAli Blades" ;D.

Hey lynx, is there a blade mount angle difference between the 75
       and the 175 plans?

       Otis,
Same exact angle. Chord length changes as diameter increases.
